Try to "chase" down carriers in IJNDDs then tell me about it. I seriously hate WG for this part Kagero 35 knots 640m radius Ibuki 35 knots 770m radius Baltimore 35 knots 730m radius Fletcher 37 knots 560m radius I dont understand if im the captain of a destroyer or not. I cant even dodge a auto drop in my kagero not even mentioning "trying to" chase a carrier. I once went after a taiho i prepared a perfect torpedo attack launched them and he used his fighters to search for torpedoes in water..... i cant even get close to the guy let alone my torpedoes reaching him i really think when a destroyer gets in close range(under 10km) a carrier player shouldnt be able to automaticly outplay the DD player. I think a destoryer captain should win at an average fight against carrier captain. Just like how it works at IJN-US DD fight. USDDs automaticly have the upper hand sure IJN can win over the USDD player but it isnt easy. So a carrier captain shouldnt get rid of destroyer easily. He should try hard then win over the destroyer captain. it all seems dumb to me. A CV captain can easily win over a DD captain.... so whats the point of destroyer? A CA captain will most likely dodge your torpedoes. A battleship captain can get away without taking a hit from perfectly set torpedo attack. Am i supposed to hunt the flies? Go fishing?

but the destroyer player will see him from 2km that is a huge advantage to use it against destoryer

i thought you said predreadnoughts and battleships. I do understand they have 2 turrets but they have excellent secondary they are kinda like battleship cruiser hybrid. They should have good secondaries that should cover the hole up. Controllable secondaries? bad idea. They will let you controll them which anyone will most likely hate it because lets face it they have high RNG to stop them from being OP and people arent going to like that. i heard that mikasa is pretty much like st louis with 2x2 305mm main guns. It has 14 secondaries and 4 main guns(2x2) which will be tier 2 premium ship so i dont think pre dreadnoughts will ahve problem. if they happen to feel UP they might buff the secondary range which should make them better

does that start to ring before torps get close(you know they are in range but it doesnt ring until a range) Also some torps werent surface launched so lookouts type of thing is not an excuse i dont exactly understand what he is speaking about but... if they made the torpedo alert thing better well thats just going to be a nerf for DD again -
Yeah youp layed tier 3 and tier 4 so now you know how all destoryers work right? Its just like life you live 10 years and you already figure out the whole life and dont need to live anymore....

Excuse me? a carrier player can attack to even destroyers. BUT a destroyer player cant even catch up to carrier player sooooo yeah.....

before 3.1 it was fine turn it back to that and delete tier 10 maybe even tier 9 CVs Right now i hate CVs in my destroyer couple of divebombers can easily make the game done for me.

i dont understand why they hate destroyers. I mean arent they cute? Stop bashing it with bat then.... Even if you sneak up to a cruiser they can turn at the second they see you and evade it I kinda dont have a proof for the next story of mine but i can assure you that it happend I was in my kagero sailing in ocean map. From 8 km i saw a north carolina and he wasnt changing course. So i launched my torpedoes to kill this guy. If he wouldnt do anything at least 5 out of 8 would be 90 degree hit. But because kagero's torpedoes have 2.0km detection range(can be 1.6km too i am not sure) he had exactly 12 sec to turn. He started turning when my torps were 2km away from him. He didnt take a single torpedo hit. he turned 90 degree to left and problem solved. I checked the stats and everything. It is perfectly possible to turn in 12 secs. Rudder shift time is the time it takes your rudder to shif from left to right. So lets say a ship has 25sec rudder shift time. If the person has -%20 shift time it will become 20 secs. Now at 10secs you can have left maxed in 10 secs. And while you are doing that the time it takes for torpedoes to close in on you will be a little bit longer(probably 14-15sec) and you are saved! Seriously people go at 3/4 speed and when you spot ship launched torps just turn away from them with -%20 rudder shift time you can do it.

because you actually dont get more credit for doing damage? I play destroyers so i know what i m talking about alright? Defending points and capture points in domination means more than killing enemy team exp wise That idea also saves your team from losing the game for letting enemy capture all and win it in a short time.

Try it with the speed boost flag but i m pretty sure that speed bost thing from your words is a disaster. 0.4.0 is probably the OBT launch version and if they are going to make DDs more UP well than its time to quit or play USCAs

at 0.4.0? WG should stop and rethink the wot. It was good back when arties were at most tier 9 putting tier 10 mediums destroyers and arties made the game less fun. Oh the good old times. They should make at most tier 9 for CVs as hakuryu at CBT is cleaning everything.

USSRDDs can be taken into observation by only looking at germy. Good guns mediocre torps mediocre pretty much everything just like wot

that is because system took your june 10th account settings so if you didnt change password after june 10th you should be able to get in.

predreadnought? maybe but no else ship should have user controllable secondaries taht would be OP or UP. IT would become UP because AI uses the aim asist system which would make people ask for a buff thus would result into making secondaries OP Many threads were open before they nearly all received the same answer. In alpha stage secondaries were more accurate but not player controllable they were too powerfull.

You need to adjust your healing and fire controll team timed. If you dont then say good by I play destoryer andi know the "pain" it gives to keep losing my engine and steering but thats mostly because i did not pick my target good enough you cant complain of an option in game when you havent tried anything to dodge it. Thats like complaining about torpedoes. Lets say i put a wall in front of you short wall that you can climb but when you try to climb i will push you off. What do you do? go around of it. If you are in a destroyer HE damage is annoying but try not to fight in an IJN one and turn a lot. Not hard to dodge shots If you are in a cruiser try to fight against enemies as 1v1 or 2v1 or 3v2 never give the advantage to enemy. If you are in a battleship get close to enemy or take him down fast while using healing ability(not the repair) you will stop the "losing health" for a bit. You can also evade your enemy with using islands its not hard people just think of a way to evade the problem. Just like you evade torpedoes.

trust me its more fun to penetrate through enemy lines with a 4-5 man fleet than "doing my own thing"
