I could guestimate the damage output of her secondary taking into account what's currently available but I think she'll end bottom of the pile on that regardless of what WG does with the 90 mm. Potentially but I think the best playstyle for her would be to fire at large targets(primarily BBs) from long range where she can use her advantages in both muzzle velocity and maneuverability while limiting overpens as well. This might not be the case but, taking everything into account, seems realistic.

Exactly and the only way to jam both is to hit the primary and one of the auxiliary rudders at the same time, at least if WG implements the redundancy properly. I think their RoF will be buffed to at least 6 rpm, wouldn't be playable in Duca degli Abruzzi otherwise. Range wise even if you give her crazy range their damage output would be marginal at best.

They already said in the past they will add Italian ships(like early 2016, can't recall exactly when). RN Roma is the first ship to be announced, that is true.

On the rudders I hope WG models them properly, that would give her something unique(and give her an edge in turning radius coupled with her favourable length to beam ratio). The Pugliese system on the other hand is complicated, not as complicated as her belt but I digress. The 152/55s are well protected but should still fire slower than the German counterparts on Bismarck, plus having less and smaller tertiary guns

Hard to say, perhaps is much easier to get hold on pieces of info in Baguetteland(I just know how painful it is to work with the Italian counterparts). On cruisers I think either them or BBs will come first, I find DDs as first highly unlikely due to how the line should be(all in all they are the least interesting) As said above we just know Alabama will come first but, considering I already have Alabama ST, the standard should come in the short term. Sadly other than this detail we don't know and, without any piece of information regarding how much work has already been put into her, is hard to say. I doubt would have crazy dispersion, taking into account similar or worse cases. With this said she has to have a somewhat higher dispersion due to balance(with a small dispersion the 381/50 could potentially be too deadly considering its 850 m/s of MV and potential 12100 AP alpha damage).

What should make her stand out are guns, maneuverability with speed being decent(30+ knots). Armor is complicated since all depends on how WG depicts her complicated scheme. AA for sure won't be great and on secondaries shouldn't shine either

Yep, sadly there are no good images of her after being completed with said coat of arms in it. Just noticed the depth and she's quite a long way down with all considered(being not that far away from the Sardinian coast). With all considered she's well preserved, let's hope she stays that way(especially after what happened to the various ships lost in the Java Sea)

As far as I recall RN Roma had a similar coat of arms over the bow. Need to find a good image of it though

In terms of alpha, using the reversed engineered formulas, her alpha damage is fairly good(the RoF for sure will get buffs, how buffed who knows). Regarding the armor scheme who knows what WG will do, one piece of news at a time .

Those are some interesting pieces of news. I wonder what they'll do with the Pan-Asian tree since that would be a bunch of clones slapped in a line without any logical continuity between one another. Regarding Roma I wonder what they'll do to make her feel unique but alas it's the first Italian (proper) in the game so I'm happy already

The problem of Giolitti is this: how could a ship named after him not being able to have a 100% WR? She has to be able to stay in both sides at once . Joking aside don't know really, they could still go for relevant places for the Mille expedition(Quarto, Nino Bixio and Marsala are all linked to that endevour). Most likely but I don't know if there were at least some plans for that 152/50. If not they could just go look at comparable guns ingame and decide what's best for balance. I noticed that miss as well, I wonder why though.

Since I missed the part of the Q&A here are my thoughts Haven't yet tried New Orleans after the patch, mainly because mine is still stock so unaffected by the changes. Regardless they needed some love being one of the oldest lines around(Cleveland still has to go higher though) You need to have lots of cookies to sway me . Joking aside I haven't filed the application form for a variety of reasons but I hoped there were pieces of news regarding the subject(since it was told to me that before seeing the Italian section the language had to be officially supported). Please US cruiser line next, seeing Cleveland at VI when all her counterparts are two tiers higher is getting beyond silly right now. By the way a question: will you do such Q&As regularly?

Technically the 37/54 could potentially reach high(ish) RoF, the only factor was how fast loaders were able to feed new cartridges(since was technically possible to feed new ones while the guns was firing). Vibration wise that was the problem of the older twin mounts, the single mounts(and most likely the quad one) didn't have it(and shouldn't be implemented regardless) The 20/65 was pretty much identical to the German C/30 while the C/38 does get indeed an edge in RoF. Still was better than what the French used(since they relied on 13.2 mm machine guns, until Uncle Sam spammed Oerlikons on them as well)

Prinz Eugen does have minor visual differences and, performance wise, she's comparable to Hipper(like Roma and Littorio). Evaluating just what the ship herself offers performance wise I wouldn't buy Roma unless buffed enough to explain the bill. If they buff her they fuel the p2w argument, if they don't she would be just another pointless clone while you would get more value from a Dante Alighieri+3 months of premium option(the prices of Roma and that should be around the same).

That doesn't change the fact that Roma was just a slightly modified Littorio, no more no less. That is fine and dandy but would you spend 40+ euros just for the premium status, the name and the camo since everything else would be equal. To make that expense viable(assuming you aren't a collector because then you wouldn't give a damn about performance) you have to buff Roma, making her p2w compared to the standard sister. Otherwise you would just grind your way up to Littorio and have Dante Alighieri as trainer, having something really unique but at a fraction of the cost.

Her tonnage is slightly higher than the older sisters so should have a slight edge in HP, not enough to make her feel unique though. Smoke won't be that useful since she's still a BB and can't be hidden that easily. The standard might not need that if you replace the old mounts with new ones(ie 2x37/54 replaced by 4x37/54 and 2x20/65 replaced by 4/6x20/65) you increase the AA to comparable levels(they could also replace the 120/15s with 37/54s, like in the Zara-class) but Roma, or whatever of the three becomes premium, will since standard ships get their historical sets. The 20 mm wasn't the greatest but the 37 mm wasn't bad(was multiple times better than the French and the German counterparts).

How about this as unique piece of equipment? That would be glorious Joking aside making RN Roma feel different from the older sisters will be complicated since, in pretty much everything but size and a few other minor details, are identical.

Kindly Phoenix_jz updated the image to the current state of things. I updated the various sections of the thread. The problem here is that I don't have all the data required for the formulas and the fact that not every aspect ingame has reverse engineered formulas available, making the guestimation part more complicated. I might guestimate the stats of the premiums, at least the ones I can do, for the time being.
