The Ro.43 was a spotter. Regarding torpedoes I guess they should have short range but high speed( 4 km range with speeds up to 50 knots historically). On the rest can't say for sure. They are different though, both gun wise and speed wise. D'Aosta is faster, the guns are faster firing while protection is complicated. Gameplay wise they should be fairly different

Can't say about what WG will do to make her special. Regardless she'll be somewhat similar to Molotov but with 8x152 mm guns and sligthly faster. She should be more suited as anti DD being pretty as fast as them although shouldn't be a slouch against cruisers(especially if WG implements her with the original stats for her guns). The line in general should be on the faster sides of things(with Zara as exception), high muzzle velocity, average to low RoF(although this is subject to balance), not that great AA(but this is also subject to balance taking into account newer mounts were under development in 1943 and not mounted because of the Armistice). On special gimmicks can't say for sure, I doubt they would give her speed boost though since she would be silly with it

That's the length between perpendiculars. For sure destroyers won't like her since they'll have a tough time running away Regarding this ship or the line as a whole?

On the camo I've found models painted the same way she is in the screens Don't know how "correct" this camo is but many ships saw their camo scheme changed so it's plausible. Anyway on the ship herself the tiering makes sense although it's hard to comment without seeing the stats(especially to see if the guns are the 1000 mps muzzle with the heavier shell because that would be nasty )

Hard to say about range but damage shouldn't be particularly good

I found where WG got the paint scheme Sadly it's difficult to see but there's red aft of the Y turret so the stripes are present there as well. Sadly can't find better images talked too soon lol

She is a tier VI so the original disposition was correct. Taking into account the Frenchies makes sense(poor Bertin would have been outclassed)

Well the interest part would be to see if IFHE overpenetrate ships like Duguay Trouin which had zero armor(or very close to it), that would be a way to make that skill useless

Fu Po is pretty much a weaker Smith, would be complicated to use Hai Chi, being an armored cruiser, is complicated since WG hasn't added a proper one Ning Hai is overall worse than Yubari: two more guns and slightly better protected but slow enough to rival BBs. I personally think she's more comparable to Katori in playstyle(being as slow more or less) Ching Po/Lung Tuan is more acceptable as tier II but remainmore comparable to Smith Monfalcone CL should be a tier III I believe , the CA won't most likely be added as originally designed due to the mixed armament Sua Tayanchon is too weak Trad has a problem: Spica. If Spica get added she would be outclassed being slower(Spica had more powerful machinery), outgunned(Spica had 3x100/47) while the only advantage would be to have the two forward facing torpedoes. Might work as tier II with Spica at III to avoid a direct confrontation between the two ships. Phra Ruang is more workable overall, probably around tier III(not 100% certain but should be about right) Other than Taksin the cruisers aren't workable. On Taksin herself she isn't a mid tier, she should be a tier IV at best taking everything into account. I doubt Etna would be used for upgrades, she's considerably different and would be a slower with even crazier AA Yubari. I don't see her coming all together

I asked Tuccy about the discrepancies between the Russian and English version of the magazine(namely the lack of some pieces of information in the English version): he told me that it wasn't intentional. I believe the "truer" version is the Russian one, regardless hopefully WG will clarify

I don't think the Marat remark should be surprising taking into account his background(since he studied in the very same city Marat helped to protect). Granted there surely are more notable ships in history but Marat still proved more useful than many others

They will most likely be other clones, just like what we already have. Nothing too different from the Chinese line in WoT, with the exceptions of not having anything built by them(at least I'm not aware of designs suited for the game made by them)

PLAN and ROCN primarily, at least I assume so(taking into account Anshan and Lo Yang come from those)

Littorio may have the usual armament layout but name ships which can fire all nine guns with just a +/-20°angle between her bow and the target. The vast majority of the counterparts have to expose more of their belt to fire all their guns and that to me is unique. Haven't said the French won't be unique, just said Italy would have unique features as well

Or there could be an even simplier solution: WGEU is in Paris and takes less effort to go to the archives if the French counterpart of the USMM is in Paris. It's in WG interest to throw stuff at consumers which have a relatively short time to market because otherwise they lose interest. Besides Italy offers its share of uniqueness as well like, taking as example the Littorio-class itself, the ability to fire all 9 guns while keeping the ship very angled(the X turret had +/-160° angles), without sacrificing the firepower on aft like the French quad based BBs like Dunkerque and Richelieu.

I know, just elaborated my thought from what you said. For sure she won't have problems with overpens against higher tiers and, on that note, will be hilarious to outsnipe them
