I don't know, could be since she remained in service for quite some time. Regarding the tier i already made the line with the assumption of having Cleveland at VIII(now she's at tier VI), i don't see how she would be at VII with Cleveland at VI. We'll see anyway.

I noticed. I think it's too high and most likely placed there because of the Russian refit(i assume). I'm skeptical about this choice but i can adapt my work with relative ease in that case(splitting Montecuccoli and Duca d'Aosta). Wouldn't be ideal but doable.

Well that's a bit too much since US and Japan had larger navies. The RM was important, true, but she wasn't second after UK for sure.

The main problem is that what happened in the Med is kind of unknown, i was thinking to write topics about the major engagements in the Med sometime soonTM but i have to figure out which ones and how detail i have to be.

I hope that won't happen but there are people in the forum who think that way. That's also a reason why i'm working on this "project" of mine since i don't want to see the RM dropped and/or delayed indefinitely.

Considering the amount of action and the influence on other nations yeah. The MN saw limited action in both world wars and the number of other nations linked to France is limited to Poland(at least i'm aware of only Poland with French designs). The RM saw more action overall(in WWI less so because the Austrians remained boxed in and when they attempted to force the blockade things went horribly wrong), plus there are a few nations influenced by Italy: Russia, Sweden, Spain and Romania(considering the European nations alone). Then again it's just my opinion and i'm aware it can be considered as "biased"

Well that's one of the reasons why i'm working on it. Then again considering the current order having Italy as 6th nation will be a success already. Hoping to have it earlier is quite complicated since Russia will be third and Italy won't ever beat the Bismarck hype(and having Italy before UK sounds wrong). In theory yeah, we'll see in practice in due time In an ideal world Italy would be fourth or fifth(depending on Bismarck hype). In practice my hope is that devs won't say:"we won't add Italy because of the similarities with other trees(ie Russia)" since there's a lot of Italian influence across the Russian tree(even though Italy still has a lot of unique designs).

I think there's more than just weight since HE is heavier than AP and yet travels more. By checking at the stats of the gun from navweaps(here) i assume the HE shell is the modernized 1907 but which of the two listed is the AP shell ingame?

Bismarck had crazy bad AA: -Mixed 105 mm mounts: there were two different mounts with two different rotation speeds, making a lot of guns useless(since the FCS was set to plot for one of the two mounts). This got fixed on Tirpitz -Crazy bad 37 mm guns: Germany used crazy bad 37 mm guns until the 37/69 showed up, too late to change something though -The amount of 20 mm guns was small: considering the crap Bismarck had as heavy and medium AA you would expect something beefy to stop or dissuade planes from attacking you but the amount of AA was just bad(12 guns as constructed and Bismarck lived to see some more added but not much). With Tirpitz the number grew up to a reasonable number but considering she was a target practice for RN and RAF pilots she had to be a tougher nut to crack...until Lancasters with Tallboy came along

Germany important in WWII and Italy peripheral? Logic nowhere to be found considering the amount of big engagements between RN and Italy against the ones between RN and KM. Not that it takes much to beat 0 large engagements
