For the sexiest ship i wait for the Russian DD line since Tashkent deserves that spot. Her lines are just a beauty

We don't know for sure, hopefully at Gamescom will know something more about it.

Here is some of the questions answered in the NA stream during E3. I'll update the topic if there are more. Have a nice day! Deamon93

You're welcome! You should also thank Sharana who uploaded the second part

It's battery modification 3 which is available for the higher tiers(i don't recall from which tier you start getting it).

It increases the aiming speed(ie the turret rotation is faster) while increasing the reloading time. It works exactly as intended.

Understandable, at that time films were rare. Besides even that occasion happened by accident since there was a filming crew on Tegetthoff and they had the chance to film everything(i don't know if they filmed the attack from the MAS as well). Yeah most people won't notice it, too bad we don't get anything out of spotting those easter eggs

There will be either Projekt 7 or 7U in the main line(not having them would be unwise) so you'll kind of have her. Technically she isn't exactly Russian, at least not fully. In any case she is a bit undertiered by using the lineage from where she comes from.

When i saw that video i wondered why there was the sinking of the Szent Istvan. Anyway good video!

Cleveland will get moved, huzzah! I'm confused. If that was the case then why are there four distinct Omahas? Granted one is painted in glorious Socialist Red but Murmansk is still a filthy capitalist Omaha

Whats your take on the Russians being added before the British in WOWS ?
Deamon93 replied to Outlawz0111's topic in General Discussion
Well i wouldn't mind, it would automatically send Italy to the upper end being so closely tied with the Motherland Rodney is the sister of Nelson. -

Well you will get Italian ships in the Russian tree(technically Grem is one being designed by Italy). Anyway they worked on the two starting tree at the same time so we can hope they'll do that again making everyone happy(sort of). How do you know they'll be OP? Besides depend on which lines they go for: destroyers and cruisers require limited amount of paper(destroyers will require only Projekt 48/Kiev as tier X above Projekt 20I/Tashkent while the cruisers will require tier VIII and IX above Projekt 68 bis/Sverdlov). Battleships will require paper to compensate the fact that they weren't able to build a fair number of ships(especially during WWI) and CVs well they won't be the only one relying on paper. But it WoT it's well deserved since Russian tanks were good for their time. A tank game based on WWII without T-34s, KV-1s, ISs and so on would be weird. The development team of this game, Lesta Studio, is based in St.Petersburg(as far as i recall not that far away from where Aurora was before being towed away for the refit). WG itself is just the publisher. Let's wait for Gamescom and see if there will be some more info to verify if that rumor is true or not. Regarding the decision those were the primary reasons as far as we know since they have easy access to their archives and they don't have issues with the language(being their own). Finally someone who acknowledge the RM, you sir deserve a medal . -
Relax man, no need to react like that. Just ignore them .

Good luck when you'll stumble upon a tier VII you don't like. Besides 10 games aren't exactly that many.

Yep, especially since they have to work on whole lines with multiple ships and all those ships tend to have different models(ie the different hulls). In any case they are working nicely since they worked on both trees at the same time delivering relatively fast the lines we currently have. Hopefully they'll keep on working on two nations at the same time so we have more content but we'll see. All but the Hellcats are there. Anyway you're welcome! You mean how long did WG take to build the gameplay for each class, right? The game was quite different in CAT, especially in the early period. It took a while for the game to be the way it is now but i can't quantify the time exactly. Let's hope there will be more information at Gamescom
-
You're welcome! Well i didn't know how long but i recalled it took a month or two for a plane so for a ship the time had to be longer. Let's hope for the new content, having more ships will surely make the game more interesting(whatever nation WG will add, even though it's most likely Russia).

Kaga was a battleship originally and she replaced Amagi after her hull was lost in the earthquake of 1923

I'm hunting pieces of info regarding this bad girl for quite a while. What i currently have is quite limited(i have standard displacement and armament) and i wonder if anyone could help me find more. I know the No #52 and #53 of "Storia Militare" had something about this particular project but, sadly, i wasn't able to find the articles in question. Does anyone have some more info regarding it? Thanks! Have a nice day! Deamon93
-
There was an article on "Storia Militare" about them and Medaglie d'Oro so i assume so. Not that it's critical for what i'm doing for the Italian tree but having an optional way to go instead of relying on the Soldati would be nice.
-
We don't know when we will get new nations. Anyway Akagi should be placed in the second CV line eventually.

That's where i got the little information i have available

New ships in WoWs: Diana, Marblehead, Tachibana and Mikasa
Deamon93 replied to Haatra's topic in General Discussion
Most likely a typo, it won't be the first one. -
My information is relatively limited: -It was a project contemporary of Soldati(which was chosen because was cheaper to build) -Was based on Maestrale but had different primary armament(6x120%50 in three twin mounts and three torpedo tubes) -Had really good AA for a DD of the time(4x37/54 and 10x20/65) -The standard displacement was 2100-2200 tons I don't know anything else.

RM = Regia Marina = Italian Navy A wrong letter may change things. Well the Red Army did much more than the US Army, saying otherwise would be wrong. Time to spark the pride of a glorious naval nation: Switzerland They weren't the largest navy anymore. As far as i recall the USN had the same amount of tonnage(i have to check though). Oldest Navy? Depends from where you start counting. Still the age of a navy is irrelevant. What started the Dreadnought race was an Italian design which remained on paper only because of financial reasons, dated 1902. So technically your statement is half true. So? The German Navy never put up a proper fight and most of the engagements involving the Brits happened in the Med(somewhat forgotten because Bismarck stronk). Technically the guy who invented the tank was a certain Italian called Leonardo Da Vinci. He didn't build the tank because it was complicated to build such things in the 15th century. If you consider who invented the base of the modern tank you would still lose regardless because the benchmark of all new tanks to come was the Renault FT 17. A proof of that is the amount of FT 17 clones present at tier I(since pretty much everybody used the thing). The reason is simple: Bismarck is stronk and she can defeat all by herself all the RN...oh wait The Russians had a lot of valid designs under construction which were left aside due to either the Soviet Revolution(in case of WWI ships) or the German invasion(in case of WWII ships).

Depends which policy WG follows. With all considered is understandable their move(mind you: until very recently the RU server was the largest of the bunch). What makes me wonder is why Germany should get implemented before UK since they should have similar "issues" regarding the availability of information(being both far away from the devs and both with a language barrier). Hopefully they'll release some info at Gamescom. A lot of Russian ships had Italian influence so not surprising. C'mon guys, that's a matter of taste and i don't see a reason to argue on looks.
