Hopefully they'll reveal something at Gamescom. We'll see anyway

Personally i would have prefered UK as third but whatever nations come next is still good. The more content the better. Besides UK will come eventually, it's just a matter of time.

Cleveland will be moved to make room for the CL line and until she stays there you can't do that. For the time being is fine but when you need to add a cruiser line from another nation things will get complicated because most of the missing nations rely on CLs and if it's impossible to place them(because most of them will get sucked in the Omaha-Cleveland void) such lines would be impossible to make. Personally i value more the possibility of having more lines than keeping that ship there at the cost of nerfing her to the ground. She's already nerfed as it is and people keep on saying she's too strong: in my opinion she's a clear candidate to get moved up. Moreover hard to state otherwise
-
Personally i think it should be best to move her up as it is and then see what's required. Changing her while moving her up may make the evaluation of the moves difficult. Cleveland like a glass cannon? You haven't seen true glass cannons The image is quite small but you get the idea of how "protected" this ship is(the maximum thickness is 30 mm).

Perhaps but making other cruiser lines would become possible. Besides when she's at higher tier, preferably at tier VIII in parallel to New Orleans(also derived from Brooklyn) we'll see if she has to be modified in terms of stats or remain as it is. Too early to say. They'll split the lines so the CA line will remain as it is most likely. The only plausible change is to see Northampton somewhere in the line.
-
Well it has been my opinion for a long time, although my opinion was originally based on future cruiser lines which are CL heavy. Those would be impossible to build if she doesn't get moved. Brooklyn had a lot of designs before the final one, which was heavily influenced by the introduction of Mogami(before that the requirements were different).

Cleveland will get moved, until then deal with her presence.
-
Main damage dealer? Every class can do damage, that's the whole point.
-
Preliminary Brooklyn, there are a lot of possible designs to choose from. New Orleans would be in parallel.

This topic is becoming more and more rage every day it passes. The fact that Cleveland is out of place is an old topic of discussion and the devs acknowledged the fact she has to be moved. When will that happen and how exactly(i hope they'll split the CA and CL lines without screwing something up) we don't know. Until that happens deal with it, end of story.

Sorry i read prior the edit and didn't see you edited the post, my bad .

Hood was pretty much a pre-Jutland battlecruiser which underwent some corrections before being built. From then on her armor layout remained the same making her obsolete by the time WWII started. ON the other hand PoW wasn't ready to fight but she had to be rushed into action due to lack of ships since most of them were all over the place. Considering it the best victory in both wars is a bit exagerated though.

Juneau is the improved Atlanta-class, would be weird to see her a tier below the class. Ages ago i suggested something like this: VI)Preliminary Brooklyn(there were a lot of designs and some are comparable to other CLs of the time) VII)Brooklyn VIII)Cleveland IX)Worchester(if the Brits get the CL project, the Minotaur-class, with 10x6"/50 QF). Who knows if WG will do something like it or not since all depends how the British line will look like(being the lead nation for the period in terms of designs).

The US had a huge void. As far as CL goes a lot of years passed from the latest pre-treaty cruiser they built(Omaha) to the first post-treaty(Brooklyn). There are less years in the CA department but not many and there are other nations who have older CAs which would set the standard(UK, Japan primarily although there's also France).
-
Mogami can do both but the ships with both CL and CA variant are quite limited(as far as i'm aware the only other ship which had this possibility was Admiral Hipper but the CL variant was quickly axed). In any case bringing the early Washington Treaty cruisers(proper) to tier VI would cause issues. The US will require paper there since there's a huge gap as far as built ships are concerned.
-
The swap Myoko/Mogami had sense since Myoko is from the earlier generation. Swapping Cleveland and Pensacola would still cause issues. The best bet is to split the CL and CA lines there to make life easy for everyone.
-
Nobody has said that. Anyway Cleveland will get moved not because of her AA but because she compresses the CL lines to the extreme(since she's a late '30 design over a ship developed immediately after WWI).
-
Devs said Cleveland will get moved when they re-arrange the cruiser line(probably by adding the missing CLs). When will that happen we don't know. Until then try to avoid them unless there's no other way.
-
Perhaps in the future although, at least as far as i'm concerned, i'm not sure how hybrids would work.

Was Bismarck the greatest? No since there were ships which were superior to her. She was wasted early on but her sister helped achieving results like the destruction of PQ17 and the fact she drew a lot of attention from the Brits. The main issue is that the Kriesgmarine had to achieve results with a limited amount of ships since it was far from ready by the time WWII started.

What we know about Ships: Updated 05/04/2017

Russia had a larger navy than the Netherlands though. Granted Russia is the smallest Navy out of the seven nations which should have their independent tree but, compared to smaller nations, they were large. -
No it's not, although there will be italian ships soon(under Soviet Flag but still).
-
Atlanta is the #1 threat for DDs but she can't do much against proper CLs. She's quite different from the usual CL, just like Kitakami was.

That's Nagato not Kongo.
