Emden was just a reward ship, right? I don't recall if they sold her
-
Perhaps in the future, I'm sure WG will add other premiums to the German tree so Tirpitz doesn't feel lonely.
-
It's unknown if proper armored cruisers will show up.
-
I'm not stating the opposite. What I said is that they have a bigger event coming which may require a lot more attention from them, then again it's hard to say what's coming up in the next couple of months without any official pieces of info released.

[Project R] where is my Kamikaze R? (293 pearls)

It took a couple of days to give the ships in NA when they ended theirs, it should take a similar amount of time here. -
There are a lot of nations which are still missing. Still I wouldn't mind a half British half German destroyer although WG has the centenary of Jutland to work with already

Powercreep is to buff everything whenever a specific ship overperforms for whatever reason and then things can easily spiral out of control. Then again it's just an opinion, don't know if that's the reason. -

To avoid power creep which is possible the worst thing possible. -

Cleveland is a tier VIII in dusguise for other reasons: -Firepower: the historical Cleveland was able to achieve 120 rpm on broadside(ie 10 rpm per gun). Ingame that's gimped because otherwise wouldn't fit at tier VI(would also be strong at tier VIII but I digress) -Protection: as far as protection is concerned she's comparable to New Orleans -Secondary armament: she has the same secondary armament of Baltimore which is at tier IX. At this very moment doesn't matter but it's still something. Range is a factor but not the only one. There are also potential dpm and range of invisible fire(if kitted out properly). I've made the maths on dpm but I don't recall them exactly, still I don't think it would break Mogami since she has other advantages over Myoko Well Aoba and Nurnberg belts combine are comparable to Cleveland one, without taking into account the citadel of Cleveland is fairly tiny. -

Because Cleveland has to be nerfed to stay at tier VI. Until she gets moved she won't get that much love. Haven't played with Mogami yet but with the proper equipment you can fire without being spotted relatively easily. Still Mogami has the issue that AFT helps her with the 155/60 but doesn't with the 203/50, making the former more appealing(without counting the massive dpm advantage etc etc) -

There's the public test server for thos very reason. The change is fairly drastic and requires mass testing: if there are no issues as far as balance is concerned the patch will be implemented as is, otherwise WG would change it. After saying this I hope what you did would make a constructive discussion possible. I'm not saying you're right or wrong, it's not the point, but either way discussing in a constructive way is healthy for the community and WG itself. Personally I'm looking forward to read the site and your arguments. -
Baltimore was designed almost a decade after while the treaties weren't considered and war was approaching. Deutschland was an attempt to use in the best possible way what they had available by the treaties, wouldn't be fair to compare a treaty cruiser with a non treaty one. Granted you could compare Hipper and late cruiser designs, achieving more or less the same result. Regarding them being useless they proved decent enough, although Scharnhorst and Gneisenau proved to be better suited(which makes sense but they were developed in differebt conditions without the tonnage limitation)

Zara had superior protection and was already under construction(or close to completion, I don't recall exactly) by the time the work on Graf Spee started. And that's just the Zara after the diet since considering the original project wouldn't be fair
-
I guess H-41 survived the cut, which is fine considering H-42 is even bigger. Well San Giorgio was a tough nut to crack. Blucher overall was superior, this is safe to say. Well in the statement I was counting post WWI when the cruiser with the thickest belt(Graf Spee) had only 100 mm when there were already ships with much better protection, since he was bragging about Prinz Eugen
-
It's not superior to the contemporaries, at least as far as protection is concerned. Punta Stilo could be easily done as far as number of ships is concerned. It would take ages but that's another story
-
Of Pisa or Averof? Because Pisa had 254/45 guns while Averof had different ones. Don't recall the reason why she got different guns though. There were two ACs in the main Japanese, true. Still those were far from being comparable to BBs in terms of firepower and protection, although proved sturdy enough to stand alongside them.
-
Well the name doesn't make much sense due to the fact Hitler renamed Deutschland to the less problematic Lutzow(after the original was given to the Soviets). It would have made more sense naming her after important figures from the past, a la Bismarck and Tirpitz.

They could do something like Warspite although I don't know if there are possible refits which could be used. -

Konig wpuld be a dpm monster and would have the protection to avoid damage. Regarding KGV she had 15" thick belt and she sailed at 28 knots: at tier VII would be just silly. She belpngs with her siblings at tier VIII -
That happened after Turkey was roflstomped by Italy first and then by the Balkan states. Granted she was lucky when Greece joined WWI amd especially in WWII
-
She was an undergunned variant of Pisa, nothing special. True but then again there weren't new BBs around at that time, in the Med of course. She was able to be good enough with all considered even though the design was old
