He's right though: people should check before posting. Not to worry though since BBV will come eventually

It's known that the RN will arrive this year. The exact ETA wasn't specified but I'm sure WG will let the players know before hand.

Or this which is much better with 16x15". At least this one can fire eight guns both going forwards and backwards

POLL: Which ships are you waiting for the most?
Deamon93 replied to 1MajorKoenig's topic in General Discussion
Too bad we'll have to wait at least a year before seeing those match-ups. -
I asked to Brynd a while back(in January) and he said it's not possible because they don't support the language within EU community management. Since that was the answer I wonder if there's a work around of some sort, especially since in the other titles there is the Italian section.

1)In a capital ship vs capital ship engagement flooding won't be much of an issue. 2)Was rectified after Jutland so it's a moot point. It's like saying the Russian ships will burn like crazy because they would have coal everywhere(in reference to the long voyage from St.Petersburg to the Far East). That load was an exception since they projected a long engagement which required more ammunition available. 3)Would be interesting to see the comparison between the two. Stating it without getting backed by the numbers is kind of wrong. There weren't fast battleships in the US: the whole BB line was made of slow ones until North Carolina came along. The only fast capital ship designed before North Carolina was the Lexington-class but they never saw the light as originally planned. Still further along the road there will be faster ships, it will take time though.

At least it's more deserved than classify Le Fantasque as CL.

Atago is a sister of Takao so she's already ingame. -

She should be a good tier VI(Abruzzi I mean). Regarding the beaty of the ships they tend to be good looking: the only less than good looking is Sparviero. Then again she was developed in a rush, based on another design developed in a rush. -

Of course WG is free to do whatever they want but overall Montecuccoli feels to be the most likely mid tier premium, so you can have a feel for the others(although Duca degli Abruzzi is a tad different). -

She's the most likely tier V premium, at least I guessed as much. Would be a nice addition before the arrival of her sisters. -
Spreading the knowledge was one of the reasons why I started this project, especially since Italian naval designers helped a great deal back in the XX century. Caio Duilio back in WWI is interesting looking and her layout is rather unique indeed. As far as I know she and Conte di Cavour were the only ones with a layout like that(may be wrong but I'm pretty sure my memory isn't fail me this time).

The Grand Fleet had numerical superiority and had the resources to keep all those ships up and running. Germany didn't have the same amount of ships at their disposal plus they hadn't the same amount of resources the British had.
-
A single premium doesn't matter all that much, Warspite is the prove of that. Still we have at least a year to figure out which of the two Med powers will come first(assuming they won't come at the same time), which is good enough. If they come next year I wouldn't mind all that much, I would focus the attention of having a good line rather than having a somewhat less great line but easier to implement(ie destroyers since are more or less the same and, compared to cruisers and battleships, aren't that interesting).

Most likely they will have a steep learning curve indeed since they have to be played a bit more aggressively since Richelieu and Dunkerque can fire all the guns directly forward, minimizing the exposed surface. Granted most of the exposed surface is taken by the turrets so it's possible you can lose 50% of the firepower(or, if you're really unlucky, 100% of your firepower) if the turrets get disabled/destroyed. That would suck big time -
If WG follows the usual procedure they would sell a premium before our tree gets implemented so we may see one relatively soon after, although the most interesting premium between all the potential ones is outside the tier V-VI range(BC project 1930). Then again we shall see.

I was just joking since it's most likely just a typo. I guess I don't mind those all that much since I know they can happen. -

Italian grammar nazis are the best By the way would be nice to make a topic similar to this one but only for projects. There are a lot of interesting designs which, for whatever reason, never saw the light -

Waiting for the sweet baby I just recently found so I can enjoy H-41 from the proper angle -
I know, which is why I kept searching for something better. Then again even if this design is indeed interesting I don't think WG would speed up the research(unless SerB is impressed ). At least now I don't have blank spots anymore which is good and grants me the ability to focus entirely on refining it with the more "boring" stuff like guestimating stats, AA etc.

More or less they follow the same principles, although this gun is obviously larger. From what I know the planned muzzle velocity was 850 m/s so identical to the Mod.1934 should be one of the guns with the flattest trajectory(if not the gun but there are still BBs missing from other nation to make a comparison). The beam is a bit larger but the turrets required more room to fit, although it's not the only factor(considering how angled the main belt is and all). I wasn't considering Cassone, hoping to find something more interesting. This is, other than being more credible(although as practical as H-41) is a bit more interesting. Feels like a Ferrati G but massively improved upon as far as everything is concerned.

H-Class Battleships potentially to be added in the future?
Deamon93 replied to AhzekAhriman's topic in General Discussion
The H-class should most likely be the tier IX and X. O-class is unlikely in the first line but we'll see
