There are three naval powers still missing as well which have more material than Norway. Anyway most of the DDs are from the Wickes-class so, at the end, the number of actually different ships is fairly small.

The balance would be complicated, especially when you consider the ones which had a larger secondary armament(Radeztky or Regina Elena as examples). Especially the latter would be sort of problematic since you have only two 12" guns at your disposal but you have six 8" guns per side plus a plethora of 3" guns

Have to check some of the name, although only the destroyers from this list have some hope to get implemented(the other classes aren't ingame)

Yeah and I have replied as well

I don't know them all, have to check, especially since some nations have a lot of possible picks. Still I don't know if WG will add new pre-dreads, I hope so but with their primary armament that small it would be difficult to make her fun(the manual secondary armament skill may help but you need to be a serious seal clubber to have a captain with a level 5 skill at tier II)

What we know about Ships: Updated 05/04/2017
Deamon93 replied to mr3awsome's topic in General Discussion
N3 is bigger and with 18" guns -
Well there were plans to improve the Breda 20/65 with the newer sextuple mount. It was supposed to be installed in Aquila and, most likely, on pretty much as many ships as possible(I have an image if you want to see). Another mount which would have helped was the quad 37/54, perhaps more viable than the 65/64 due to the fact it was possible to mount that on relatively smaller ships(it was planned for the Medaglie d'Oro-class destroyers so).

I noticed by tree precedes me Anyhow dispersion, damage, RoF and other gun related stats can be influenced by balanced so I wouldn't be that worried about that. My worry is Da Giussano and Cadorna but not for the same reason. Considering the placing of Kirov Montecuccoli and d'Aosta(the two projects from which Kirov is derived) will end up at tier V so the rest of the Condottieri-class will be placed accordingly(Da Giussano and Cadorna at IV, Degli Abruzzi at VI). Granted the protection of the early Condottieri was garbage but as far as firepower they would be a beast and, if they take into account the height of the rangefinders for the range, they should be able to outrange the counterparts. This means that they can kite pretty much indefinitely. I'm sure that won't be the case because otherwise it would be a bit silly. Granted the layered protection would start to get really messy when Littorio is considered but we'll see, especially since the armor viewer isn't ingame yet

Again! nerf on US CVs! WG trying to rewrite world history again!
Deamon93 replied to Han951753's topic in Aircraft Carriers
The plane had a powerful engine and Midway has catapults. Besides it was more powerful that the B-25, although some maths is needed. I can do it later on since I'm in uni now -
Could be Habbakuk, she eas shown in a video early this year

So you want CVs capable of firing multiple times the number of torpedoes of Shimakaze. Clearly the top tier games don't have enough torpedoes already. -
I don't know, I haven't looked into the gun stats too much. Still in any case all of them are subject to balance so I wouldn't worry, then again would be interesting to check

Films =/= reality. It may work if the anchor catches a rock atrong enough to sustain the stress, a chain strong enough not to break and the equipment on the ship atrong enough to endure the maneuver. The possibility of having all three at the same time is unlikely at best

all nations to have all the ship classes
Deamon93 replied to fighting_lady_tatiyana's topic in Archive
Don't recall, it's plausible though. Still in any case I would use it for the(possible) CV line since it would make sense. Then again it's not a priority that line so who knows -

The Re.2005 had issues qhile diving hard at high speeds. That planes was capable of reaching around 900 km/h in a dive which, regardless of the structural integrity, requires a pilot crazy enough to do it(the aerodynamics behaves strangely in transonic speeds, issue encountered also by others). Still it proved to be the best plane out of its generation and capable of roflstomping the German ones in tests. -
I made a derp, my bad(I've studied today and my brain is still recovering ). Still mostly depends if the turrets are protected as well as Littorio(which may not be the case, considering Bolzano which has a lighter mount compared to Zara). Then again without the protection layout is hard to say
-
She would be a glass cannon for sure, although I think she may have a protection somewhat similar to Conte di Cavour and Caio Duilio. Granted the guns themselves are heavier but she has just nine in three turrets instead of ten guns in four turrets. Surely she won't be great in protection but it's price to pay for a Littorio look-alike with torpedoes. From what I understand the 381/50 was able to achieve 2 rpm within a certain distance(which rarely happened since they tended to fire from downtown) so I would leave the RoF at that, even for this BC. Granted she would be a bit on the strong side in dakka but she is a lot more fragile compared to the counterparts(current and potential).
-
She's pretty much a smaller Littorio: the firepower is the same(3x3 381/50), the secondary armament is the same(4x3 152/55), the tertiary is different(based on 100/47 instead of 90/50). Speed should also be about the same, although I can't say for sure. Protection wise she's still a mistery but surely not comparable to Littorio since she is much lighter tonnage wise. I hope so too, that ship seems quite interesting and would work as top tier of both the Ferrati G' and UP.41(since she has similarities to both).
-
After thinking about the tier VII I came to this conclusion: I decided to swap the preliminary Littorio and BC 1930. There are two reasons: 1)It would make more sense as far as transition is concerned since you don't go back to the 320/44 2)To avoid having a premium stronger than the standard counterpart Overall this swap seems to make sense to me, then again I'm open to suggestions! Regarding the 4-16/16-40 project I still have to find more info on her but don't worry, still working on her.

True but Daring is tier X material for the RN line, would be a bit strange to have a tier X premium for a Dominion. Then again we shall wait and see. -

Which is why I would love a section where people who know the sacred language of the Motherland can post and make it easier to find those threads. That would have been nice, yeah -

Considering it was the first time it went well enough. Granted there were a lot of question unanswered but I'm sure these Q&A sessions will improve over time. Speaking of which would be nice to have an easy way to check the Q&As from all the regions like a forum section. It would make things easier for whomever has to make the questions(to avoid repeating the same ones) and for whomever wants to read them without going on a hunt. -
