Apparently so. Hopefully eventually there will be at least some interest regarding an Italian premium(although I know I have to find suitable names)

As far as I recall the mount was already very complicated as it was and there were plans for the twin 90 mm mount for UP.41(which eventually got axed but that's another story). Still the AA armament proved to be problematic, mainly because the willingness to upgrade wasn't there. As example the Italian planes had only 2x12.7 mm guns because the CR.32(designed in the early '30s, around the same time of most AA guns used extensively in WWII) achieved great results over Spain. Due to the OPness of that biplane Superaereo believed the couple of 12.7 mm guns would suffice: it took four generations to see something more punchy on an Italian plane from the start(three if you count refits of the serie III planes). The AA armament of Littorio was more than sufficient when she was designed, the problem is that upgraded mounts came too early to change anything(the 65/64 was still experimental and the bigger mounts for the 20/65 and 37/54 weren't ready yet when the Armistice came into effect). Still it's safe to assume they would have been the first ships to get upgrades: they wouldn't have improved the heavy AA but doubling the amount of 37/54 and tripling the one of 20/65 would have surely helped

Well the name of the tier X is odd, mainly because they renamed Deutschland to avoid political issues in case of the loss of the ship. In any case the most likely picks for that ship are either H-41 or H-42, above that they would be excessive.

It's possible although who knows.

Most of them were really nice looking yeah. Still the closest to Italian looks we'll have in a while is Russian(Molotov as example really looks like her mommy d'Aosta as far as the hull and superstructure are concerned)
-
Lately they are trying to fix and improve. Of course it will take a while but they've taken the first steps. With this said would be nice to have a section of the forum devoted to feedback and suggestions regaring their "public relations"(streams, Q&A and so on)
-
Translating Q&As? Personally I would rather have a functioning Q&A for EU, to fill a void which has been around for quite some time.
-
Congratulations, well deserved!

"Voyenno-morskoy flot SSSR (VMF), literally "Military Maritime Fleet of the USSR" Taken from Wiki but still

I guess my memory didn't fail me then .
-
That would be what? The prefix? Because the prefix is RN(Regia Nave). RM is just they way to abbreviate the full name of the Navy, just like USN/IJN/RN etc etc.
-
Royal Navy. Could also be the Italian prefix(if placed before a ship name)
-
It's a possibility considering they don't have a mid-tier premium yet If my memory serves right a similar question was asked in NA a while back but I don't recall the answer. In any case taking into account sure sources alone it's unclear if they will show up, then again there's that fourth line mentioned in the video about plans for this year still not revealed/spoilered.
-
You're welcome, glad to be of service!

The torpedo tubes were rear facing
-
The second funnel is different, the catapult is placed differently and the superstructure is slightly different. On the left is Furutaka, on the right Aoba. It's easier to spot the differences this way

As you can see BBV doesn't have preferential treatment. And now
-
Don't recall when they said about British cruisers showing up in Q1 or Q2, I just recall them saying a British line to come up this year. In that very same video they also stated they would add Russian cruisers and German BBs this year(although again no exact ETA back then). In any case they were announced in a more official manner(and, regarding British cruisers, also spoilered a bit if you look closely). Italy on the other hand was never mentioned anywhere.
-
Both nations should come eventually
-
I doubt that, especially since a line from the RN was confirmed for this year already while there's no ETA to speak of about Italy.
-
Italy is confirmed to come, when it will happen nobody knows.
-
Would be a bit strange two have two ships so close to each other(time wise) with the exact same namesake, don't you think? HMS Repulse was completed in 1916 while the Admiral-class was laid down that same year. I doubt the RN would make something like that so the most logical explanation is a mistake of some sort.
-
Relax guys, there's no need to start discussions regarding who did what.
-
They didn't plan an Admiral-class named Repulse. The other names were Rodney, Howe and Anson(as the class name implies all the namesakes were admirals)
