I really don't understand what you are trying yo say here. First of all this is not real life - it's a game, with game mechanics. Speaking of game mechanics I suppose you know of a captain skill which increases your fighters damage by how faster than your fighters are the enemy fighters. Which makes your argument about fast fighters in the game being strong kind of questionable.

A gamescom release is likely, but it's unlikely that it will be the Tirpitz that will be a premium. You mention the Warspite, which is an iconic RN battleship, but so is the Bismarck for the germans. Also Bismarck has been in the game files for quite some time now. Another point is that the Bismarck would play out in this game as a "stock Tirpitz" which would make more sense to become a premium. So combine that with the hype that it's such an iconic ship and the Bismarck becoming a premium seems more likely. But in the end it's all speculations, until we get the release hehe

I think you are just blaming the carriers for the bad luck in game you've had. First of all providing you with air cover should be the job of a cruiser with good AA capability, not the CV, unless the carrier is playing a fighters setup. You mention that you've seen carriers putting the fighters to cover their ship. Unless you are not aware, almost 90% of the games where there is a CV in both teams, the first third of the game usually goes as the carriers on both teams try to take each other out, which is important as usually the one team to sink the enemy CV first usually wins. When you see that the carrier has put a fighter on patrol on his ship, that is a good call on him i think as he must do anything to try to protect himself for the first enemy rush on him. When the first wave has failed he can then relocate his fighters. And it's normal for the carrier to want to protect himself as not always carriers are protected by cruisers. Often when I ask I do get protection, sometimes I don't have to ask at all, but there are games where I've been told that I quote "I'm not of any significance to the team" and was left to my own faith. I looked at your profile and saw that you haven't played carriers and probably have not checked out the high tier ones and what planes they can carry, from which I assume comes your unawareness that some carriers can chose to not carry fighters. Why is the reason for not having a fighter group you ask? It's simple - it's not worth it. A full strike loaded CV is of much more use to your team than a multirole or a fighter setup one. If you have played CVs you would know that a single group of fighters can get only 1, max 2 enemy plane groups before it runs out of ammo. At best this fighter groups can be used just to panic the planes so their attacks fail but still - a strike loaded CV can help the team out just by taking out the enemy CV so you don't have to worry about planes for the rest of the battle. I do realise however that there are players out there who only care about doing damage and don't care for the team, but for the time I've played those carrier captains are a low percentage and you tend to see them very rarely.

If you read the news on the game portal you can see that they've said that the mentioned german ships are added ingame for test purposes (to supertesters) and can be encountered in battle. But don't get your hopes up about release date - 1-2 weeks ago they also added some IJN and russian ships for supertests and still we haven't seen them available to the public.

Those camping battles where both teams camp their CVs for 2/3 of the battle, or just exchange 20km missing shots are really annoying... And I do agree that battle time should be increased but only for standard battles as this is where I have my problem with draws. In domination there is always a clear winner and in encounters if you start running out of time, the cap is kind of close to get to and usually one of the teams has an advantage in number of ships left alive so capping is still an option. But in standard battles if they bump up the time i think this will have an encouraging effect - it's like you have a choice to either be aggressive and push, or to waste 30 or even 40 minutes of game time doing barely anything and in the end getting lower xp and credits. They could at least implement this in a minor patch just to test it out as we are still in a testing phase, and if it doesn't work out they can always reverse it.

Greetings! Yesterday while playing my CV something weird happened. I was playing on the Fault Line map and in the first part of the game sas huntin the 2 enemy carriers. When I reached their spawn with my planes I start my attack approach on a Langley as i knew most of my torps will hit cuz he is slow. I had 3 TB groups stacked and they were very close to the target so I mad a slight last minute readjustment for the torping approach and then all the ships and planes froze and I couldn't move the camera. Seconds later those things above the map popped up telling me i got hits and even a kill but the ships and planes were still frozen for me. I could type in the chat and was telling my team about what happened and could see their replies. Also those air groups icons were flickering telling me my planes were being shot. All the interface seemed to be working but the game itself had frozen somehow. When I Alt+F4 and restarted the game everything went back to normal, Up to this point I haven't experienced this thing before and the only recent change I could think I've made in my low settings is I've enabled "Animate small objects" option.

I'm actually puzzled how do you get 2.200 base XP for killing a single ship 3 tiers lower than you and dealing 60k or whatever was the Colorado's maximum HP

Greetings! A couple of days ago I encountered this which I believe should be a bug: As you can see the other division guys don't see the 4th player. The only information I think could be relevant is that I was playing with the 4th guy in another 3-man division earlier, then I left to take a 1h break or so, but didn't close the game. Then I PM-ed the leader of the new division to invite me and when I joined I saw the 4th guy.

lol it looks pretty ridiculous! It has happened to me before, when I crashed my BB with another BB on the corner of the map but I couldn't take a screenshot cuz I was busy laughing

So I was wondering the following - we know for a fact that currently there is a limit in random battles for the number of CVs on each team ( currently 2 per team ), but I was wondering when they introduce clan wars or something like Team battles, will there also be a limit to the number of CVs? Will it be possible to see an all CV team? it would be funny to see how it will play out when you make this all or nothing rush at the start of the battle and all your planes either get wiped because the enemy had strong AA and outplayed you, or you make this slaughter for like 2-3min after the start of the battle

That is pretty accurate, but even a formation of ships can't shoot at all the planes in the sky, especially if most of your strike CVs are IJN. Also if we assume that the example is in CW, then with that fog of war the team might not be prepared to face an all airborne assault especially when you throw huge amounts of planes at them. Another thing is that so far from playing i can see that usually the spawns split the team in 3 smaller fleets equally across the map.

I would advise you to watch this dude's video, he explains and shows the basics of aiming. The video is from a series - Captain's academy, I suggest you watch the rest of the videos. Some things he says you may probably know but still, you can learn something!

That part for the MM, where it puts +2 members in a team is very weird for me and duno why wargaming still haven't removed. Sure I can see the theory behind it - you put 2 more low tier members in the team to counter the fewer, but higher tiered in the enemy team. But that works only in theory. First of all the tiers don't matter this much in this game (maybe only for BBs against BBs and CVs against CVs), but for the most part most ships can still do pretty OK even against ships 3 tiers higher than them. The problem comes that having 2 more members means that there are 2 more ships firing at your team and/or 2 more ships going for the flags in domination mode (the biggest problem for that MM). For the time i've played this game, winning a +2MM game is pretty rare for the outnumbered team.

As far as I know the unified premium account is just part one of the whole implementation of the shared account status across the games. It's the only thing shared atm, but gold and free xp probably won't come that far into the future

You make very good videos man, I hope your channel grows! I found you a couple of weeks ago when I was suggested to watch "know your ships" videos so i subbed. I would love it if you continue those series, they were quite interesting and informative to watch!

For me the "fresh start" was quite frustrating actually. On my Eire I god 3 straight losses then 3 wins and then a win streak whitch was so bad that I was almost gona uninstall the game. Also the huge lag spikes didn't help out the experience much either. I took a screenshot to remember the OBT start and I stopped playing for that day thinking it's just not my day and I will continue tomorrow: It's not the first time I was having bad luck - on WoT it has happened multiple times and what I do is just stop playing for that day and usually on the next day it seems luck and RNG are with me hehe. So I continued playing today and well... I can say I'm happy Dat win streak though...

Gona ask an off-topic question so I don't create unnecessary new thread. Do you guys think that with 300 battles played I qualify for the OBT rewards in the top 30% bracket? I mean I've seen people with like 500 or even 1500 battles, but still considering the time each battle takes and that some players don't play that much cuz they get burned out quick it should be enough battles. What do you think? Also after the new forum layout I can't check your game profiles via the forum profiles so I don't have a base to compare really -

So I tested most of the skills and they are wonderful, I love what you've done with them - giving us more choice. I encountered a bug however - That skill that reduces loading time between AP and HE when the guns have reloaded doesn't work when you have one of your turrets blown up. -
idk if they should seitch Amagi and Izumo, but after playing them on the public test, the Iowa completely outperforms the jap tier 9 in my oppinion. They should buff it somehow at least
