Poorly understood and denied by is that BFT/AFT skills and Survivability Expert/Aircraft Armour skills counter each other so the result = 0 buffs for either. When you get BFT/AFT while the CV is too low level captain to get Survivability Expert/Aircraft armour skill your AA significantly is buffed. When you do not get BFT/AFT while the CV has Survivability Expert/Aircraft Armour skill you have nerfed your AA. This is the state most CV complainers are in. I am doing the campaign and reset 6 lines without FreeXP'ing through the lower tier ones.......and i must say low tier planes fall out of the sky like flies with retrained 10+ BFT/AFT captains. There is no problem unless you create one by not skilling against the class that hurt you most. If that is CV, you must actually skill against it. Not complain against it. -

Let WG do the thinking for you.....not only does that spare you typing the wall of words, but you will have no choice or voice in it anyway. I'm sure WG will make this half-BB/CV or half Cruiser/CV ( we already have them in form of GZ and EL ) do enough damage so they can reach 1st position scoreboard too without getting overpowered. Who cares if they are classed BB or CV ? Gives clans some tool extra without having to mewl they can't choose between BB and CV.

There won't be "unicums" if there are no masses of low skill players to gank to produce such stats. Obviously they won't fare nearly as well against anyone with actual skills at the game and that would be enough to send then back to "above average" So i always think the call for more skilled players in teams is funny.......it will actually cause the WR of complainers to sink when there would be more skilled players in the game. Afterall if there are much more smarter allies, there are as many smarter enemies too. And since all their relative skill comared to complainers will colletively rise......complainers stats will fall. You really do fare better as king of a team of bots, fighting 1 human with also a team of bots then you would facing a high skill team vs a high skill team. The latter will produce a WR of around 50 %.....the former is much more senstive to your own skills. -

Rank 1 ? As in ranked matches ? I use mainly DD for that......somehow they are far more reliable FTW / star save in ranked then CV are.... I didn't FreeXP to Halland you know...i actually played the line...a lot. And All of them come with relative decent AA for DD aswel.....this i noticed when resetting the line and sailing in T3/T4 again......not the target of choice for those biplanes..... -

If you mean WG intends players to use buying FreeXP to boost themselves up to required tiers.....yeah sure that sounds like them.... But this campaing didn't cost me anything but time as i had all tech tree 3 x tier X CV and a Tier VIII EU DD, which did progress to tier IX during the campaign. When you won't make it and they put the commander up for coal later it does not have to cost real money either. The key is patience....if you don't have it, then you pull the wallet. ( which is me too, but not on this occasion ) That is how the game is built, as it really can be free to play. You just need thousands of hours to get to tier X then. -

I would call the majority of the forums population "conservatist" by the way they dislike all changes/additions to the game. Being bored doing the same thing over and over seems not to be one of their problems then. -

What is there not to understand ? When you are too late to get that Commander he will probably appear for a lot of coal like the rest of the Commanders that came with time gated events. Btw i went through that campaign in a few weeks time, just playing CV mostly repeating the easy tasks only requiring Tier IX or X ships ( such as credits or XP ) over and over again and EU DD for the specific tasks ( i believe that were tier VIII tasks ) that needed them, with the pleasant side effect i have Halland now too while the rest of the DD lines are still stuck on Tier VIII. The only thing "hard" for me was the constant requirement for Tier IX and X ships and at the time i only had 3 CV at that tier , and i didn't have any DD higher tier VIII then. -

Which is not wanted at all seen the close ranges .... When you want a full secondary specced ship, it needs to perform like it's secondaries are actually signifcantly improved.....that means no AI gunners that are drunk of rum instead of vodka when spraying senselessly around. If WG can't make that work, they need to make a skill enabling you to take direct control of the secondary batteries yourself while the main guns reload. On cost of taking ALL your 21 points if need be. -

No but one of them has nothing to say but "blatant" and "lie" so there is nothing to miss of him being on the ignore list. If one never discusses in a discussion there is nothing to discuss right ? Don't worry i read NA forums too.....still will read those words aimed at fully random other content CV/ all class players many times over.... -
Did you guys notice in the high tiers COOP bots can be actually quite lethal to humans ? While trying to complete tasks i regularly found myself as one of the few survivors while the bots were rampaging in the most powerful ships in game, already having killed the most chicken-without -a-head rushing humans. And then winning is not so self-evident as it seems..... Terrifying Tier X brute gun/armour/torpedo wave ships remain that even with a bot in it.........and aiming skills is often not what a bot is lacking......i did often curse the fool that brought such a powerful ship to be mirrored, and then got snuffed with his mirror image rampaging about with ever less humans remaining.....and as often not only one fool so you really eventually face something you cannot defeat. This while lower tier COOP is just a killing count race where if you are a tad slow you get to kill/damage nothing.

That is why they are crying their eyes out in other topics...... seal clubbers clubbed themselves....imagine I just reset 3 CV lines and do not have the FreeXp to just unlock all CV to T6 ( = Operations ) again so any DD sealclubber will have fun times. -

That a bad team will still drag a player down, whatever his improved skills could do. The mechanic that with better skills you win more cannot be based on 1 player vs 12 enemies. So you need "luck" too you get in a team where there are more skilled players to which you add to shift the balance. I did not see any skilled players win in a team with merely bots agaisnt a full team of humans in the asymetric mode, on either side.....they are notably much tougher to take down, but go down they will. I had my own moments in a bot team of killing 75 % of the all human enemy team ( TV/VI ) all on my own ( in a TVIII CV ) but they took me down too eventually..... -

That contradics a bit doensn't it ? You often just lose however good you are, as no one is good enough to stop 12 human enemies alone. No ship can endure more then 3 enemies firing on it for long.... But having a lot of skill you sometimes can force key changes in the battlefield that cause the enemy to fail. Clapping their only DD when there are no CV either for example. But you still need teammates to pick up on those created opportunities. I more lament creating opportunities for allies which cause a change in the winning balance, but never getting rewarded for it because i lose my ship (early) doing it..... -
It strange the most feared and capable BB around in both WW's which most navies build their ships as a counter or equal to are depicted in this game as pityful fire slingers with turrets that need WD40 skill. And you can figure when more modern ( late WWII ) BB returned to 381 mm they must have been quite adequate for the job.

@lovelacebeer sunk me against extreme unfair odds, taking advantage of his German hull T8 RU Cruiser bullying my paper armour T5 RU Cruiser.......3 tiers lower !!......w8.....that was supposed to happen in that mode ? The fun part being he is so polite, he excused in chat for that. -

Because they now with 60 % accuracy take > 3 minutes to kill a DD if they are not GZ or Massa ??? And if they are GZ or Massa can do that in < 28 seconds ??? It is not the captain skill driving that......GZ and Massa just got insane modifiers for the ships themselves. That needs to go....or the rest just needs to be buffed. Not left as they are and then the skills nerfed too. I would greatly dislike it if all BB secondaries are nerfed because 1 or 2 ships secondaries are overperforming. Global nerfs to every ship only to nerf premiums indirectly cheat everyone out of a enjoyable game. They better grow a spine/balls and chop that Massa and GZ...and Enterprise OP factors while at it. By the way i own all of these....and WG has my blessing to nerf them in order to make all the other ships more enjoyable. -

I don't really get the WG urge to nerf secondaries from 60 % accuracy to 35 %. Seen the redicule i get when showing i kill DD with full secondary build BB ( all of them, not only Massa ) without aiming main guns on them ( split fire engaging 2 targets simultniously) i must be the only one doing that..... But maybe that is not so ? Else why the need to of all things to nerf it ?? I don't need secondaries to spray all over the place out of all sides.....i need secondnaries to be MORE ACCURATE and in ALL Battleships and even ( Super/Heavy) Cruisers with lots of secondaries ! I couldn't care less about that tub Massachussets executing DD and Cruiser alike wirth secondaries......i want ALL BB to be more effective if you sacrifice that many points into a dedicated build, not only one freak ship. I'm not that braindead i can use 1 OP ship all the time only to get a high WR and brag about it. Frankly i dislike it, only redeeming factor the secondaries shoot over islands and that is kind of unique for secondaries. -

How can that be ? I interpret COOP as a killing spree race. If youre a bit slow you get 0 damage and 0 kills and matches can end in 3-5 minutes. When bots decide to take the other way around an island group you can even get no shot at anything at all. This frustrates me when i need to do tasks. To such extend i probably do them in Randoms. But that has the consequence team mates can take offence at me minding task completion over team win chance. -

Here is a good example how CV scoreboard position can be misunderstood : Low damage, enemy ships were obviously not raped by my planes. Decent score /scoreboard position ( 1600 base XP good for top 3 ) -

But the low tier ships are beautiful to behold. High tier ships are even boring to look at compared to the rich detail of coal fired steam warships. No insane ROF's either. All guns with breech mechanims and all in detail visible so you see how large these already are. You can still HE citadel ships. Many Cruisers got no torpedo's and need to close in to Battleships to damage them with guns. The first Italian Cruiser to get SAP. These things are marvelous to play. Yet ruined at the same time. By too many CV yes. And by wasting your time without contributing to daily task that only caount after tier V. It is a terrible waste the game is like this. Negelected is the proper word for it. Just like the lack of operations with attractive rewards is. -

CV rockets, torpedo's miss too....AP bombs bounce, shatter and hit 0 damage parts and above all miss just like any other AP munition.....you will never see them dealing their maximum potential damage either No because the 1) a lot of player shorten their squadron to cut losses. 2) 2-3 planes fly away after dropping their load and what remains minus what AA ( non-dodgable continuous damage ) and fighter consumables shot will only suffice for 1 more pass for most CV other then Enterprise and Hakuryu. And my calculations assumed all hits would be citadels...and still produce laughable low damage comapred to other ship weapons. Anyone who thinks deleting other ships - who are not dead but still afloat - with CV is easy, especially in higher tiers just doesn't play CV himself. That is 100 % obvious. There are a few on my blocklist - no doubt they are still doing it but invisible to me - that would promote resentment toward CV based on lies every post they make but to learn the truth you got to play CV yourself. And at the level you are ranting on.
