    Blyskawyca has bad French-like concealment. It also shares their high speed but has 7 guns instead of 5 guns with a reload boost. And no French damage migation. It could well be the design that gave WG ideas when they wanted to give the French DD a "flavor" but became more or less obselecent when they arrived. It is very fragile with it's poor concealment. Even in Operations. So i agree a small heal would make it more enjoyable.

    No i was hitting a spotted Shiskima that i could hit firing over a mountain ridge without being detected when my secondaries opened up. That was a DD passing me by at 5.8 km that my secondaries saw through a gap in the mountain ridge. Main guns were too late to hit it but torpedo's were ofcourse incoming. But i reversed from stationary and only 1 hit the bow. And i just nerfed my secondaries to stock state in favor of a conventional Cruiser build assuming they would never fire in a PvP match with 24.7 km main gun range......

    20 steel per day ? Well that won't cause resource value devaluation any time soon when you need 30k of it per ship.....1500 days needed per ship. More then 4 years of playing every day.....for 1 ship ! Most of us can't break through to the steel giving lowest ranks. So that won't help either. If you are not in a high performing clan neither. Leaves shipyard stuff and some tier X 'snowflake" events. That might shave off a year or so.... Or are you in some clan with a 3/3 steel building wich would grant you a whopping 2 steel more ? It does add up...eventually..... I really don't feel reaching for a ship i will have in 3 years is very practical. I mean it when i am unsure i will be playing the game by then.....at least not as much as i do now. There was once a time i was full into WOT and WT too......money in form of premiums is wasting away in these games as i rarely revisit them....and if i do ai amso hopelessly out of practise i will be done playing 1-2 matches.

    Without CV or DD i am not going anywhere....win, loss, save a star, loss, save a star, win.....repeat.... repeat.... I and am in top 3-5 scoreboard all the time win or lose, i can even make Cruisers - including the fragile Smolensk and Yoshino - exceed well over 100K damage nowadays.... This does not make a difference it seems. I very much regret resetting all 5 tier X lines i had now being stuck with a handful of coal ships odf which most are Cruisers, my weakest class There was a good reason why i reached tier X with them 1st ofcourse, which i forgot being greedy for RP. I can only hope player quality sinks in the weekend.....logic demands that would make me relatively more powerful and become unstuck.....

    Yes that is it. But recognising what ship will have advantages in what enviroment is a skill by itself. A skill not as many posses, but lots just copy from those that do know what is what including drama lama CC's. Then you get the mass spam of 1 type. While there are so may ships there really is an answer to that 1 type or specific enviroment ...but that requires actual thinking of the - oh the horror - individual...

    This went rather well, but i used HE almost exclusively without intending to......AP loaded, broadside cruiser turns...grrr ......AP loaded, DD driveby....grrr......and so on.

    Nothing new....in a CV vs a CV close combat fight ( over a crucial cap being the last survivors for instance ) Saipan and Enterprise go down too.....because when CV get close range you can't lauch planes anymore as they will be ripped apart before they are in the air. Saipan has no secondaries, and Enterprise too few to defend itself from anything. And ofcourse a GZ or EL will always win. For that fact the Kaga's 200 mm are too much nerfed, i only saw them obliterate a DD one singe time and what bothers them must be very poor firing angles and very limited range for such heavy caliber.
  9. I liked the mode with human teams, but the bot fill up was not really working well. On either side you very likely lost having bots on your team. Or easily won if the enemy had bots in their team. I wonder about the need for token access limitation too...... if the power balance and with that win chance is roughly equal, it would not be needed one would say. Overall i am very positive WG tries new things. And hopefully offers more then only Randoms and COOP in future as permanent modes. You can only have/use that many new ships....if you don't have new attractive/fitting modes/enviroments to use them in.

    I think it's Ark Royal 2.0 : slow travel speed but a heftier punch to compensate for that. Not many players complain about Ark Royal though....it must be pretty rare in randoms while not even being put up for steel. Probably because players like to fly fast and attack often.....

    Well a lot of players were always complaining they wanted obliterating RTS alpha damage back.....but that comes at the cost of plane travel speed, plane accuracy or plane survivability as dmg/min will have to remain roughly the same. So it probably does the same damage as a coventional CV flying to a target 1,5 or 2 times but in a single attack since it is so much slower traveling to a target. Which will seem extremely OP but it will not be any different in damage when the match ends. It is not all that novel either, Ark Royal already operates much in the same way as the biplanes are painfully slow facing potentially Tier VIII targets. It seems logic WG want it to be limited in numbers/ rare in game as so many players now already can't handle the chipping damage that must stack with multiple passes of conventional CV......they already whine and howl over a 5k AP double bomb strike.....How will they react being hit by actual huge obliterating alpha damage strikes by a CV........yeah i have some idea aswell. Enterprise will not even be mentioned ever after. Even if the slow travel speed make it rather ineffective the huge damage spikes will fuel controversy. Will be clickbait material for drama lama CC's though......"WTF !!! WTF !!!! an effing 300k strike !!! thiz is zooo ovapowat.....WeeGee you fluchzed ze game downz the zhithouze""

    The CV needing steel means i won't be able to get it for years to come. If i'm still playing the game by then, who knows.....so im not too happy about that. The only good part is i get to keep my money since it cannot be bought.

    I know you like to lurk in smoke...but that ship is too big for your liking anyway.....DD do not come with 203 mm guns.... Do you mean disable the theme and just show is the same way as the generic perma camo instead....yes ofc. Or do you think i would sail around in a pig headed BB ?? Or a floating X mass tree ?

    No 200 % COMBAT missions. Only shop purchases like Munchen and E.Loewenhardt are active in my combat missions overview. But these temporary bonusses ofcourse.

    It's not automaticly linked with the WASD keys...those are for controlling your ship when it goes through the highlights. The funnest thing it went by was "very few players rammed more then you did" and indeed i was in the top 1 %

    Yoshino ofcourse.....also 20 km. I launch them roughly in th direction of the back of enemy caps or distant island passes when still invisible. Launching them - have to be broadside to the launching direction - when enemies or planes can see you is a terrible mistake in that ship. I do also launch from the 2nd line.......being close to the enemy is a terrible mistake in this ship too......There usually is no collateral damage as i do watch the envirorment before launching. But if there is an allied clown sailing right into them minutes after lauch......big deal, some "pink" time.... As in reference to "blind" torpedo's....these things can typically strike some enemy you never knew was there...and minutes after launching when you already forgot you did.......

    Magazine modification 1 will save your neck a lot in that ship..... I don't have that module in a lot of my ships, but Yoshino and Azuma do.....
  19. DD is the most powerful class in game, and has THE most powerful weapons in game. That is exactly why there is such a long list of anti-DD mechanics and enemies specialized in hunting DD. Among which are some type CV of which Enterprise is the most infamous/most specialized one. Although smart players indentify most of these mechanics are centered around blowing a DD out of a contested cap........why would a DD go there when it will be spotted and killed. Still masses do every single match.... DD can cap it later fully dictating conditions themselves instead of their enemies. But since only skilled DD players seem to understand that, masses of DD will blow up in contested caps and blame radar, hydro and CV for it ....
  20. The long and short of it is that the influence of a ship in a match is measured by its position in the scoreboard.....high influence = high score. This is not the same as high damage as burning BB is low skill, low score despite 100+ K damage numbers that seem influential but are justly not. If a ship or ship class is top position all the time ( CV used to just after release rework before the zillion nerfs that hit them ) it is generally overpowered. I don't see many CV in that position......the average of all CV players is rather in top 5 then top 3. But i notice them near the bottom a lot of the time too. So i can agree with WG's position the CV as a class are well balanced by now. In my opinion anyone mewling is just blinded by hate for any damage not coming from a conventional ship. They had better delete the game before they get health damage, as more of that is incoming.....true 3D naval battles await.......including munitions coming from above and below..... like in the real wars this is loosly based on.....Submarines are obviously not scrapped at all.

    Losing is not that bad if it does not have consequenses.....and the guy will have proper consealment very soon this way, so he doesnt have to tank 1.1. million potential damage anymore

    LWM review https://forum.worldofwarships.com/topic/194637-premium-ship-review-127-yoshino/ When you can keep the bow facing toward the enemy and resist the urge turning ( it has the turn radius of a Mammoth ship too ) the insane large thing in the face of the enemy it will produce nice high damage numbers. Don't launch the torpedo's when the enemy can see you broadside doing it......stealth 20 km RNG lauch or self defence only. The side armour will stop virtually nothing.....you will explode instantly when AP goes in there. Broadside it is as large as the largest BB but is surely does not have their armour. With modules it gets such a range you probably don't have to move closer to enemies from starting position at all. Maybe advisable to not close in untill the enemy has become less numerous.
