    No one has to listen to me...just speaking my opinion about it : does not impress me. The "hotfixes" that slapped on multiple had nerfs.....that was terrible. Well this will hurt you but not me then.....that is pretty ok by me And i will give my opinion always and there is nothing you can do about it

    For me this will change....nothing ? I usually do not take off right away anyway, probably will not notice much of this at all.....15-30 seconds...that will not spare any DD or any other ship. Might decrease the total damage of CV players that really use every minute to stack it to extremes. Sounds like an ordinary maximum dmg limting mechanic to me...... And what enemies are up to is even more obvious when you see them when they have dispersed their start formations..... In RTS we had a small CD on takeoff....makes you wonder why the devs didnt'want it in right away.....they were of the opinion nothing should block high paced action......seem they have changed their minds ? Does that mean they are open to the return of air supremacy fighters now too ?

Out of frustration teams usually fail to remove (AA) cruisers that block my way driving torpedo's into juicy plump BB for the bulk of my match damage/score i have come to experiment in how to remove these myself......if you want to get something done well - or at all - you better do it yourself right ? I have been experimenting with increasing succes - more damage, less aircraft losses - to kill Cruisers first to get to the more rewarding BB with torpedo bombers. While (HE lower tier, AP higher tier ) divebombing Cruisers works well, there is 1 weapon type i always (mis)used on DD, that can better be deployed in other use : Tiny Tim as anti-cruiser weapon. The logic is clear ofcourse, Cruisers usually don't have much upper structure armour or much armour at all in some cases. Just like DD, but they are bigger and easier to hit with more rockets hitting. You may flame all you want the cruisers in the screenshot were all lower tier and this would never work on high tier AA cruisers covered from bow to stern with AA. But i say it does, just costs you more lost strike fighters to accomplish. This can be worth it if your torpedo bombers then can be far more effective against now unprotected BB. What seems to set apart such Tiny Tim carrying Bearcats seems to be high attack speed and durability. But i also have seen IJN TVIII rocket fghters to be capable of results much like this aswell. It works on even more formidable AA ships too : CV. Forget scrawny reward enemy DD...leave them to DD and Cruisers to kill. Collaps flanks instead. There is one factor that already proved the succesfull concept of this : my Karma has sunk each match and i am insulted in chat by multiple enemies. It obviously works to get enemies that excited.
  4. That makes me remember the horrible fighter strafing mechanic......the game is better off without it indeed. And that permanent map view seems unattractive now.....never go back.

    Are you aware that Operations forts can be killed by even DD gunfire ? It takes far longer, but it can be done.......

    AA rework suggestion.

    A squadron of 1-2 aircraft isn't really usable.....it is quite obvious AA damage is spread over all aircraft in a squadron, and if there are only 2-3 aircraft to take it .....zap...zap ...dead. With the right captain skill and module it is somewhat difficult to deplane yourself, but left with 2-3 aircraft per squadron handicaps you asif you lost all aircraft......."infinite aircraft".......right.....

Officer : then i'll shoot you on the spot Sailors : overboard with those bodies ( dead officers ) .....lets take the ship Living and working conditions must have been bad on those ships as quite some mutinies occurred at that time......Russian, British, Italian, Austrian ( their port being in modern Kroatia, Palu ) and German all had their mutinies back then.

    T8 Premiums need protection

    This is true but in a stream WG guys said it is by design and they will do nothing to change that. Tier X players spend more money then lower tier player do, the economy is designed for that. So they want players that are not Tier X to desire that and spend real money to get there sooner. And when you reached it, spend real money to comfortably play there as costs are extreme. Just like WG is probably creating disbalance in game on purpose. When the skies are filled with aircraft and you hate it.....buy a powerfull premium AA cruiser that is on sale not by accident ! I don't blame them....that is how they make money out of a Free to Play game. This also means they will probably not want to change any of that.

    AA rework suggestion.

    Yeah very good points i can agree on up and untill the proposed solutions that i find unacceptable. If you would have said "Because of these flaws rework the AA system to involve player skill making a difference" i would have agreed. Also i see the panic mechanic of old ( RTS ) return a lot as a suggestion. That would ofcourse be very desirable on the receiving end but was a mechanic to throw off a full squadron of AI piloted arcraft launching ALL weapons at you for FULL weapon damage. This is no longer the case, it is only 2-3 aircraft attacking at any time doing considerable lower damage. You can't throw human controlled aircraft in panic when the player is not in panic.....and removing control from a player to suggest panic......well that is a deadly game developing sin, only permittabale if it can be avoided ( flashbang in a shooter game ) all together. And thus the better players will avoid it , having no effect. Much of the pressing issues is WG thinking we cannot handle more complex, simultaneous handling. Dumbed down perfectly good mechanics. RTS players moved up to 5 ( or 6 ? ) squadrons and their ship simultaneaously with AI autopilot help and AA could be focussed. My idea is they rework AA completly, making it player skill driven but not taking the ability away to still fight other ships effectively. And have some faith in players to handle that somewhat higher complex handling simultaneously....because most can. Others with excercise.....

    Your Guru @El2aZeR could probably attempt that, those are some impressive numbers in result screens, if anybody was able to do that there would be something really wrong with CV.... But you ? You prove that CV are a prefectly fine class, well balanced.....probably need a buff here and there......

    As long as 4 CV matches exists there is a considerable chance the match ends in a CV vs CV situation. That situation is even becoming notoriously common and irritates many players that hate CV already. CV's are often moving no-fly-zones so anyone can estimate how usefull the leftover rabble of aircraft you still have after a battle that sunk all your teams will be... CV that are alone in the match with other CV often try to grab a potential match deciding cap. That leads to CV-CV battles where aircraft are nigh useless, but these battles decide win or lose so are a WR influencing factor ( important for the WR diciples ) So the players that redicule considering enhancing the secondaries are teethless in such situations and will lose because of it. Worse for them still, many secondary battery enhancing captain point synergyze with enhancing AA. That means you are stronger then them in AA ( killing their aircraft ) and in secondary batteries. I'd like very much to be their enemy in above situations, as that will be an auto-win ! Premiums like the Graf Zeppelin and to lesser extend Kaga dimish the need for enhancing secondaries, as they are stock very powerful and capable of sinking other CV. Yet, these are not the only T8 CV in the game. Especially the much loved Enterprise has very weak secondaries, the Saipan has none ! I agree with criticasters that when there will not be 4 CV in matches the chance these get to decide the match outcome fighting CV to CV will be insignifcant and not worth any points. But up to this day i fight CV to CV multiple times every day. I do not always get the kill....but i do contribute in defeating them a great deal. And do consider you are protecting anyone close to you attacking that CV or CV's from air attack as well. Someone beat me to it today, but on my own i would have sunk it too....as you can see this happens well in range of any enhanced range secondary CV gun ( ~ 6,5 km ) No one denies GZ has the range advantage, but that does not mean you have to lose in all situations.

    Yeah Mikasa was British built....much of their naval doctrine and knowlegde wass British too, and no country in the world was more powerfull at the time then the British.....they even led the Japanese to see the value of ship launched aircraft.... Pretty stupid in hindsight to let Japanese scolars and scientist run around your ship facilities and acadamies to learn your ways if you are the most powerful naval force in the world. Must have involved a lot of money, "the enemy of my enemy is a friend" thinking .....and racial underestimations as westerners didn't think much about Japanese up to early WWII. They did probably not know yet Japanese can improve anything they copy in that time yet....and up to WWII retained a strange warrior culture ....

    You may want to read up on that again.....Russians first having to sail around the world - litterally - because these ships were from their Baltic fleet, exhausting the men because of bad provisons long voyages caused in that age, and long away from port duty causing low morale before sailing into these fresh, prepared and highly motivated Japanese close to their home land.....Yeah....those are not the factors that make you win. Russians had to beg / involve in troublesome diplomacy in countless countries sailing past Europe, Africa and Asia to even get the coal to get there in the first place, and these ships and crew facilities were not designed for long world voyages.....taking them a long time, exhausting the men, causing illnesses and so on. It is probably not for nothing the Japanese had great respect for the Russian sailors after their defeat.....losing does not often cause Japanse to respect you, so you might imagine what these Russians really pulled to earn that respect. After that battle the Japanese were also for a considerable period the 2nd most powerful navy in the world able to directly challenge the British in naval power and in large parts of Asia they were most powerful navy in the world. That puts in perspective how they had the balls to challenge the US many years later, that for a long time was not such a powerfull and still emerging global naval power.

    When you just go do something else for 2-3 months you will find a whole other game again. People grow tired of new things fast....if not there would be 5-6 UK DD in every match.....and there is only 1 CV to be released on short term, after that things will be like before the rework....

    Dude, i clocked 2200 hours in WT bombing, torpedoing and even dropping guided missiles at thousands of ships......that pretty much sums up what attracts me to CV right ? Your dragging old or small sample stats out to prove "CV are OP because skilless players do well in em" makes no point at all. You should also take into account these "red stat other then CV class" ships are specced specifically for Operations/anti bot use.....they do overall not do well in PvP enviroments that way. But sometimes i take em there for mission reward grinding.... CV are almost exclusively the only ships i take out to PvP as i do not like the mode very much, but it pays 3-5 x more credits and XP then Coop or Ops. The only wish i have for this game are many more Operations for more tiers and submarines.... For proving "CV are OP because skilless players do well in em" you better drag server stats out over all CV players.....then you can have a point....if you have one.

    These beautiful and impressive images just beg for another setting/game mode then that chaotic rabble PvP with unrealistc ship type adversaries that make it just another generic ship in game. And it is positioned in low tier high paced newbee "kindergarten" matches even making it less enjoyable. The fact that you actually see people from afar - and the commanding officers on the bridge - on these ships makes it almost life like....and that heavy thick coal smoke ! No oil fired boilers and turbines there.... Seeying all that makes it obvious we are missing ships listing when engaged in a sharp turning in game....would mess up aiming or guns being not avalaible too much i guess... I want to play this battle !

    And since WG still must release 1 UK premium CV. that is hyped by YT testers to be OP as hell ( in testing....) ....MM limits wiil not change for at least another few weeks/months ?

    Do you have any idea how far you can shoot Tiny Tims when you are overflying a really high mountain ridge ? They are like cruise missiles.....And dead accurate too.... Because of the low climbing speed CV player can turn on a dime and use the mountain to block AA fire in the back. Conclusion : do not hide behind mountain ridges if you want your ( long/medium range heavy ) AA to protect you, or to discourage they return to finish the job....

    Choices, choices.....can't have any score if you are already dead after 2 mins from match start.... And he did do his team a favour, you forget shot down aircraft slows down a CV's ability to wreck the other ships in his team. It is more usefull then you state it to be. I told you this was not a nerf whine post. I'm perfectly fine with DD doing this, especially if it is a result of that player making a specific skill/module choices. I will learn from that and hope to be able to mimic it on my own DD should i use them in randoms again. There is always cruisers to shock&awe* that thought they were the anti-CV ships ( but probably specced out of deep AA skills, thinking they don't need them ) ....and they are far easier to hit then any small evading DD..... *Their swearing in chat and reporting me /vapourizing Karma is prove of this. A agree with 2 CV per side being game wrecking but 1 CV per side....nothing wrong with that. I see 2-3 regularly, especially the dual purpose gun ones.....my guess players that know their ships are not that afraid of CV.....

    Oktyabrskaya Revolutsiya and Russian BB

    I think i read the Oktyabrskaya Revolutsiya carries less secondary guns then the Gangut it previously was and seems to have been also in game ( you see some secondaries missing from the Oktyabrskaya Revolutsiya ) that were scavenged IRL for other purposes in the chaotic period in Russia that ship existed. Due to that and other stats the Gangut version seems to have been more powerful in game then the Oktyabrskaya Revolutsiya is.....
