Maya smells, and her Mum dresses her funny...?
Panocek replied to Verblonde's topic in General Discussion
Same for figuring out "olive drab" or "russian green". And tbh, unless you can go back in time and make objective measurements of the paint + painted objects, I don't think you can achieve "100% correct" result there. -
San Diego nerfs - discussion on the NA forum

Based on datamine, Sandy uses the same shells as Austin and Sherman, with 404 for air drag, thus ballistics should be closer to these than good ol dual purpose mortars. -
Maya smells, and her Mum dresses her funny...?

I'm positively convinced crews on a (war)ship had few cans of paint to do some touch ups here and there on the sea or when moored somewhere? Alongside "sir, Imma yoink this barrel of grey paint thank you very much" and such. -

Which is a running theme with WG. Only cases where "just put MBRB you dummy" works, is when uptiering - Richelieu -> Jean Bart, Alsace -> Bourgogne alongside mild stat touch ups. Then you have usual issue of "oh, our main supplier of paint got bombed, here's other one but it has bit different shade" or "different, bit more durable formula" etc. Still, doing my research when trying to figure out "correct olive drab" for a Sherman model proved to be... entertaining, if nothing else Though with IJN grey its probably "easier" to settle on something due to lack of surviving evidences besides few old photos, while there's still quite a few ww2 era US hardware, pictures of it as well modern attempts at "restoring", with various degrees of success by museums/collectors. -

AFAIK every major Japanese dockyard had their own supply of "grey paint", which makes topic of "which grey for IJN" about as broad as "what is US Army olive drab" or "what is russian 4BO" -

Then I've missed that one. Inb4 next step, AP only Minitaur of sorts to conveniently bypass Heavy HE skill -

Imagine removing gimmick like MBRB or SAP first, that can't be WG Sandy, unlike every other T8 CL and true to Atlanta at T7, is stripped of survivability - 16mm plating if memory serves me right, 89mm citadel, no heal, no smoke, no speed. If defensive options are so thoroughly out the window, it better have some quality dakka then. -
And you've got few suggestions that make the most sense on UK destroyers. And that also includes "feedback" about few skills being more useful than others on destroyers. if yours "I know exactly what I'm talking about" produces gems like your initial destroyer build, I'm not exactly sure I want to know what marvels you will deliver when you're at "I have no idea what I'm doing"
-
So, are you saying everyone are wrong by picking Last Stand and Survivability, wasting points on such meaningless bonuses when you can have 5% faster gun reload? Also second part falls under "trolling", which is, if memory serves me right about forum rules, not exactly welcome here?
-
Issue is, mistakes like yours with DD build would be understandable if UK DDs would be your first destroyer line ever and you'd be considered "novice" by all metrics... which I don't think it is the case anymore?

Submarines interaction can´t get worse? Now on PTS..

It doesn't take a masters degree in game development backed by 5+ years of experience to notice current iteration... misses the mark by at least mile. Unless its designed to reduce effectiveness of, until now, easiest and most effective way of dealing with subs, then it achieves that goal just fine. -
You can always start the day with mead, then gradually switch towards green stuff
-
I'm running similar build sans BFT because 19pointer captain on my Daring/Cossack and it works well enough. Though after RL success in Ruskies/French destroyers, I'm slowly leaning towards equipping that skill on other destroyers, Brits included. If nothing else, it will help them against surfaced subs to save on legwork

Kiedy masz dwa okręty projektowane wobec niemal identycznych kryteriów, z niemal identycznym uzbrojeniem (203ki) to WG musi jakoś kombinować, by nie uzyskać dwóch identycznych okrętów.

Extensive testing indeed confirmed ASW planes turned into pure guesswork as planned, therefore working as intended -

I don't know what to think about upcoming game from mihoyo Based on CBT vids, game is turn based which isn't my acquired taste, also world seems to not be open world Genshin got us accustomed for, more like labyrinth/maze, already known from HI3rd iteration of "open world", both old ones (Sakura Samsara, Schicksal HQ) and newer A Post Honkai Odyssey. Story wise, it seems to be another multiverse than continuation of APHO, so kinda lost opportunity there. And worst find so far seems to be equipment menu being basically a copy of GI artifacts with "desirable" and "not so desirable" main stats and most likely substats too and as both games put maximum focus on offense, odds are, "outlasting the enemy" is not going to be effective strategy in HSR -
That is the point, so you don't pose an actual threat to submarine, not unless you're lucky with guessing game.
-
"Give away location" is so random you might as well not bother guessing where to put airstrike, especially as that faint "cloud" is not obvious to notice when you're actively staring for it, let alone during usual combat.

Lesta already provided lessons about "you're paying for what you have now, not tomorrow" over the years, why are you surprised Stealthfiring and Błyskawica smoke cruisers smacked with smoke firing penalty, both of which were removed from sales anyway 380mm armed BBs and IFHE/Armor rework Bayard losing unique 30mm HE pen + 38mm HE pen option with IFHE compared to other CLs Atlanta/Flint/insert any other AA powerhouse and their... interaction with CV rework Commander rework totally not targeted at Smolensk and supercruisers missed something? -
I'd hazard a guess WG guys aren't dumb, they perfectly know what they are doing. They also want their return on investment after spending three years hammering square peg into round hole
-
And it is an improvement. To subs survivability WG will have their return of investment one way or another
-
With that logic you'd get more mileage out of Heavy HE on Yoshino.
