So every 25mm+ gun gets triple damage for the duration of AA defensive fire? If so its great buff for cruisers, as before AA defensive fire had multiplier of 6, but only for dual purpose guns. Des Moines (91+335)*3=1278dps

WG always preferred to nerfhammer instead mild balance tanks/planes/ships. Also creating vehicles "overpowered but unplayable" is their speciality And for USN CVs, I'd say only Lexington got shafted by removal 2/1/1, Indy was bad before with almost no spare planes and Ranger is well, Ranger, meant to be inferior to Hiryu Totally 5s longer radar will make up for lackluster ship... -

Cruisers broadside below 10km 152 AP pretty much erases from repeating citadels, battleships more or less broadside you engage with AP to the superstructure and/or bow/stern, although plunging fire AP past 14km can work against battleships as well. Otherwise you bash them with good ol HE -

You would be surprised how good Cleveland AP is at close distances, which is Cleve domain. -
Shokaku back in the day was named Zuikaku, at some point WG simply renamed ship without changing file names, thus changelog refers to Zuikaku.

I might lean towards Demo Expert And Concealment. I can imagine Błyskawica becoming quite a flamethrower with that, you have improved camo for torping and firing unspotted and you still have Supernintendo (presumably with premium smokes) as your "oh shi..." button -
Or add other skills and viable builds for USN battleships, because so far only semi decent setup you can build for them is AA with torpedo detection. IJN can build into secondaries or buff their AA to so-so levels, USN 5inch guns simply don't have the range to even start considering them for secondaries build. And as you mentioned teamwork, who said CV player can't ask teammates to soften up high AA ships with HE?

Not when they have Tirpitz milking device, currently on cooldown it seems. You don't have to retrain captain for premium ship, simply put new Omaha guy into Sims, that way his skills will work on Sims, while exp earned in battle will progress his retraining for Omaha. Once retraining is done, shove him back into Omaha -

Easy it won't be for sure, but with stock ship + derpy captain going full offensive isn't bright choice anyway. I guess you can get away with simply more careful gameplay -

Small brainstorming is of needed: as I find North Carolina AA not OP enough I think about respeccing captain. Question is, replace AFT with Manual AA skill for extra 150+ dps, or use both and trade off Supernintendo? No way I'll ditch Vigilance, combined with Acquisition upgrade its too awesome. -

Nope Orlean have massive citadel, which includes plane hangar. Balti and DM still provides little protection against BB guns (only glancing shots, but any shots through turret nukes turret and citadels)

AFAIK rashian kruzers will use 130mm till tier 4, its new tier 5 premium (which is tier 4 ship with upgrades) that can make use AFT AND have hefty range to start with.

Because there is nothing really worth picking for cruisers ATM. From what could be added - "Supercharged shells", tier 4: increases shell velocity and AP penetration by 10%, reduces reload due to loading extra propellant bags by 10%. Effect is reduced to 5% for guns above 220mm caliber. Something to improve cruiser AP and to and extent fix derpy USN ballistics

One does not simply apply logic or reason or historical accuracy to Wargaming games. AFAIK tier 8+ russian kruzers are postwar designs I think, although I don't think these ships will underperform, looking at raw stats. If anything USN could get that consumable instead hydroacoustics, IJN could get "Sonar Ping" consumable, temporarily spotting ships and objects in water for lets say 5s within 6-8km, 90s cooldown (to be adjusted). Every ship within range would hear that Sonar Ping, so they would know it was used.

Just because IS-7 can go downhill 60km/h doesn't mean its heavy/medium hybrid. Its fully fledged heavy assault tank, although when defending in hulldown it can be quality pain in the arse to dig out, even with premium ammo. If you want failed heavy/medium hybrid that burns every time someone farts on the server try 113 chinese tonk.

Russian tanks in WoT may not be the best, but their heavy tanks are the most idiotproof vehicles in game, requiring little thought, bit of vodka and full cyka blyat mode to do decently, while mediums with competent tanker are pretty much go to clan wars mediums, due to their versatility.
