  1. Kutuzov/Chapayev exist, former was seen as "overpowered" not because "muh cold war soviet magiks" but long range and smoke combo. Latter barely made ripples beyond stealth radar capacity and being solid long range harasser. Also the same argument works other way around - if much newer design is "merely comparable" to vessels made 10-15 years ago... that doesn't really scream "bias" to me now does it Remains to be seen, but "soviet bias" is rather case of few ships being overperforming that nation wide gimmick. Well, if there's gimmick for Russian ships, its overspecialization in something, often at expense of other traits. Which makes them potent in one scenario, but not much else outside.

Though in last throw, few hours before banner ended, I've managed to snipe final, missing stigmata for her, and she's done now. And while waifu>meta and all, I'd say it is still advised to do some research on characters you're about to pull, as I've found out the hard way, Starchasm Nyx is THE most luxurious character in Honkai, requiring gacha-only signature weapon AND stigmatas, as any replacements are at very best copium tier and it was very noticeable even in casual combat

    Torpedo soup was annoying, at best from what I recall. During the same time Shimakaze also had 5.9km detection, same as Gearing, while former still had +-8s reload on her guns and turrets were pushed manually, let alone by crank, so encounter of the two was... rather onesided And then CV or even catapult planes could early spot torps, rendering whole torpedo carpet rather ineffective.

You can make prettiest, cleanest chart or best TL;DR there is, but it doesn't matter if guy you want to read it doesn't care, all he cares is making boomy noises when you click left mouse button. Especially given current stock of ships, you're expecting such player to pay attention and roughly memorize something like 20 such charts to cover all the baseline ship niches, let alone one-off premiums. And if guy is willing or even trying to memorize that, he's probably already a 54WR+ player just by virtue of playing with screen turned on. And Wargaming introduced brief description of the ships in tech tree. Does that help those who could use some help? I doubt, because they don't care Those who want to find info are already rare breed. Especially as most reviewers tend to put comparisons to existing common ships, so vague "250k dpm" is usually presented with bit of context. Also Slava due to having only 406mm guns can be pretty crap at dealing with angled ships at range, so there is no clear cut answer to "me want to clap ships at range" question... Well, there's Satsuma I presume.
  7. I'm afraid you're overestimating attention span of majority of players, whom have difficulty finding more detailed stats than vague "Firepower: 73", nor have interest in finding anything beyond "does it pew pew?"
  8. Not going to happen because it would actually prove Lesta ideas aren't as glorious as they think they are. More pragmatic reason - splitting somewhat small playerbase among many game modes is not going to do any favors to queue times. My guess would be the same as I've found to be the case with C&C Remaster, AoE2 Definitive Edition or Diablo 2 Resurrected - people don't miss old game, but old times. Mentioned games sure are fine remasters and they do bring memories... but without Old Guard to play them, they get dull fast. And true remasters like C&C or Diablo... well, you've seen them before so there isn't much to rediscover, AoE at least added optional content on top of remastered original to extend game lifespan while keeping purists happy.

    Because WG merely responded to players wishes to cut down on repair costs for a gold fee, only to find themselves painted in the corner in their shortsighted-ness.

    Pen on tier 8+ 406mm guns is still nothing to write home about. And then proliferation of 30mm plating leaves 406 outdated due to lack of overmatch only 6 barrels, awkward turret layout and ship itself is hideous.

    This line, just like most recent additions to the game are meant to be "played" by free exping them to tier 9-10. And then Ger BC line was essentially balanced as secondary barge with some long range fishes, with main guns being bit of an afterthought.

  13. Yes. These guns are the issue, coupled with fragile hull. Repulse does work alright... But three tiers lower. 380mm guns, most powercrept gun caliber AP shell wise with only 6 barrels and still long reload, HE shells dealing the same damage as other nations 305mm calibers, thats one receipe for a ship that cannot carry battles at tier 9-10.

  15. And speaking of Aaknights, release of drunk dragon onee-san is delayed by some Kjerag event though I might try and snipe Aurora for... reasons. But given how recent Honkai pulls went with idea of outfitting violent Estonian, I'm having an X for doubt to press on not-guaranteed gacha pulls
  16. All other games with randomly assembled teams. WoT, WoWs, WoWp, War Thunder, GTA Online, Elder Scrolls Online, Payday2 and what else. With gaming becoming "mainstream" source of entertainment you simply have influx of people who "turn brain off and turn TV on"... or boats for that matter. Which is why I spend more and more time in PvE games with small, usually pre-assembled team of people I can yell at via Voice Comms.
  17. No własnie linia Akizuki to jest coś co pozytywnie wspominam i średnio mi leży pozbywać się tych okrętów. Z fxp to pamiętam, jak ponad pół roku jakoś mnie naszło na dłuższy powrót do okrętów. Z wolnego przeskoczyłem Seattle do Worcestera, całą linię rosyjskich pancerników do Soyuza, reset obu linii niszczycieli japońskich + z wolnego do T8, Agir, Groningen. Całość zaczynałem jakoś z 1.5m fxp, a zakończyłem na ponad 2m fxpcóż, to jest narożnik do którego WG samo się wmalowało.
  18. No, z przelicznikiem takim, że nasza inflacja to pikuś przy tym I jeszcze dochodzą kredyty...
  19. Co może być zachętą do resetowania linii. Wkońcu jak nagle możesz trzaskać 30-40k expa per dzienna wygrana, to nagle te 200k expa by przejść z T8 na T9 nie wydaje się tak odległe. Free Exp i tak jest już niemal bezużyteczny, gdyż temat okrętów za tą walutę umarł już dawno temu.

    Not really. Short fuse time if anything, makes difficult to land citadel hits on anything with layered armor around the citadel, while it does very little with overpen prevention - cases where shell was armed (with standard fuse of 1/6 shell caliber) but left the ship before detonation are rather rare outside of distances that can be described as "yolo". Most overpens are result of AP shell not meeting enough armor to trip the fuse in first place.

    Need advices how to... RN CAs

    Drake is as generic island camping HE slinging cruiser as it can get. Very similar gameplay to any other cruiser that have not-railgun ballistics and medium range like US, IJN. Neptune is the same + carries its own smoke to conceal herself, though you need to be mindful of your own smoke firing penalty, radars and getting randomly blindfired. Which combined with size of her citadel, is rare to not score citadels hits when doing so. In general, every cruiser gameplay consists of firing without being fired upon, whether it is island or smoke doing the cover. Besides, select few cruisers that have either speed, agility and range (French, maybe Italians and Russian CLs) or armor (Petro, Moskva, Stalingrad, maybe Dutch line) to try employing any other playstyle than passive farming. Captain build wise... whatever you fancy at tier 1, I take Incoming Fire Alert and Gease the Gears if I find turret traverse lacking Priority Target is go-to skill for me Superintendent IF you can make use of extra consumables. If you reliably end battles without spending standard supply of consumables, other skills would probably be more useful, like Adrenaline Concealment done. Anything extra on Commander part is superfluous.

  23. Actually... not much. I play when I want and what I want, usually when I'm asked to do boats or when I see familiar names on friendlist, when I start the game out of habit.
