Why are high-tier maps so stupid?

Just play range mod Nevsky Moskva or Stalingrad also should do.

    Cruiser rebalance please.

You mean "stealthfire" a BB that was inept enough to not run Camo build, as Zao's stealth firing range was around 16km, when you could bring detection on all BBs below 14km? Only DDs could stealth fire while spotting the ship themselves. During the same times 30mm plating was rarity among T10 cruisers, with only Zao having 30mm deck back then, which made Montana "excel at removing anything but BBs, while Yamato excelled at removing battleships".
  3. I don't think I'll farm new PR ships simply on basis of having very little interest in AL, if I log in and do few dailies thats already an achievement Even more so as Integrated Strategies game mode is about to be added into Aaknights and test run of that I've liked quite a lot

What was the saying? "Rock is overpowered, paper is fine -sincerely, scissors"?

Its called focus fire on biggest threat that also happen to be most vulnerable. You can angle against AP and stay safe for most part, not so much against HE and fires. You mean cruisers always were at mercy of BB players, unless you were humping islands harder than you hump your girlfriend/boyfriend/body pillow? Last time we've got cruisers of "battleship killer" variety it caused much butthurt sprinkled with soviet bias. Besides, anything effective against battleships will be just as effective against cruisers. Never was there in first place. With game mechanics being binary in action (yes or no), you either ricochet AP or you don't. Proliferation of 30mm plating made 406mm armed battleships miserable, same did 27mm plating against 380mm guns, rather common caliber as well.

I'm not sure if this is statistically possible.

Good player playing good ships in good division. Simple.

    I don't understand Italian DD

Well, thats the question for WG why they introduce ship unable to do their class duties. Now, if Elbing, Russians, French or pastas were classified as separate "large destroyer" and mirrored accordingly, there probably would be little less to lob around. Same goes for large cruisers and battlecruisers.

You're missing the altar Italian ships were sacrificed on. Altar dedicated to god of gimmicks.
  14. So, Genshin out of nowhere dropper story chapter cinematic that I guess can be summed up as conclusion of Inazuma arc It also spawned an avalanche of fan arts, especially Russian Eula Arlecchino, as well some memes
  15. And so it was death for any smaller clan in WoT, as to have any meaningful presence on the map back then you had to field 3-6 teams of 15x T10 tanks, with enough in reserve to soak up losses on the upside, you could also fill up the gaps with lower tiers back then.
  16. Suggestion from World of Tanks Clan Wars, at least from what I remember back from ye ancient days: Ships sunk during Clan Battles are locked out for a period, in WoT case it was whole week. That way you can't run perfect setup of and you have to rotate ships or players.
  17. Welcome to late 2018, when REEEworked CVs already were established as griefing class with no meaningful counterplay during public tests.

New ships - Closed testing 0.11.7 (DB 341)

5.6km is still very spicy value, only Yugumo and Neustra outspotting her and by tiny amount too.
  19. Nope. They are objectively well done with Shimakaze skin also having easter eggs, but I'm not fan of the characters themselves, so not really convinced to buy them.

Averof easily could be a testbed for mixed caliber main guns. Alternatively consider 190mm guns as secondaries with range and accuracy similar to main guns. Or both 234 and 190 guns being classified as secondaries, while ship would have no main armament unless she had torpedoes on board

Can anyone explain the latest LWM/Huron drama?

Błyskawica. She as basically modified Tribal class started with Swedish made 120mm guns, shortly after her joining operations with Brits she was rearmed with 102mm guns to comply with UK logistics and give her some AA capacity when at it.

Replacing barrel liners with locally manufactured copies wouldn't really have any meaningful impact because you would want to preserve plug and play compatibility with existing ammo and fire control. Just look up to history of russian 130mm/50 gun, with three different liners, each requiring separate ammo and ballistic charts. If that isn't logistic headache, I don't know what is. Now if you were to change armament to a different type, then its another matter, but it was RARE event for ships. Most "local refits" usually focused around ASW/AA package, sometimes at expense of main/secondary armament instead "rebore these 127mm guns to fire this stockpile of ex russian 130mm shells we happen to sit on". Case in point, Huron (and Haida) losing one main turret for dual purpose 102mm pewpewkanone to at least give pretense of anti air armament. Kidd losing one fish launcher for extra anti air.

Can anyone explain the latest LWM/Huron drama?

My biggest issue with different air drag values is absolute lack of indication these guns/shells might behave differently. Same name for guns, shells, it takes datamine websites to find out reason why X shells fly faster than Y ones. Separate ammo type like "APBC" - Armor Piercing Ballistic Capped with description featuring "these shells have reduced air drag, reducing time to impact and loss of penetration over distance" would go a long way. But then so would SAP shells be sorted out to act as AP proper, instead fixed pen, HE shell that forgot how to fire chance. One semi believable explanation for better ballistics just for sake of gimmick would be "supercharged shells" - extra propellant that increases initial shell velocity, something you'd see in shell description, with lets say Huron slinging shells at 850-900m/s instead usual 808m/s. Sure, history nerds would go brrrr anyway, but I'd take "supercharged" shells for plausible gimmick instead magic autoloader capable of reloading quarter ton projectiles at rate making AA gunners blush.

Can anyone explain the latest LWM/Huron drama?

Yes and no. Fushun from all Pr.7 destroyers have much higher air drag value on their shells, thus she have noticeably worse ballistics than Russian/Anshan counterparts, which also affect AP performance. Same story with Harbin vs Kiev guns/shells. Forrest Sherman, San Diego and Austin get magic no air drag compared to any other ship equipped with US made 5" gun, 38 or 54 in length.
