Fixed. -
Thing is, if you want to pew pew on longer ranges, you have Kiev next door, with more firepower, speed to evasion tanking and near 1km stealth torping window should you max out concealment. Oggy is supposed to be "multipurpose" ship, but in her case she ends up as multimediocre ship.

4 barrels with 5 seconds reload are "good"... then you have 5 barrels with 3s reload and loltraverse (Boobson/Kidd) mounted on a hull that outruns, outmaneuvers and outspots Ognevoi

Also Grem have old, pre nerf HE shells - 1900dmg, 9% fire chance. Nowadays its not so much an issue, but after first nerfhammer to RU DDs (1600dmg, 7%) it was quite considerable difference. Still, she's old beta boat, chances of getting her outside of supercrate or 1k€ bundle are rather small. on other hand, Orlan, tier 1 used to have proper 130mm guns in Kiev/Tashkent turrets before WG removed AP and halved HE

And Amagi, Kii, Ashitaka. Guns are the same, sharing the same turret bearings made of empty vodka bottles. Grem have one turret less, less torps and have no warp speed. And 130mm AP can actually overpen lowtier cruiser citadels

I have seen "desync" bug reappearing recently - basically your position on your screen and on server doesn't match. I had both water splashed through bow/stern as well shells landing in water, yet somehow scoring citadels On other hand, HE, especially larger caliber ones have quite the splash, so you never know if shell landing on mast can actually tickle some ammo boxes somewhere else.

And they are kinda overrated - Kamikaze is boooring, Gremlin since loss of stealth firing is less than appealing as well. Only "saving" grace is fact she remained at tier 5, while her sisters (Gnevny, Anshan, Fushun) are tier 6. hmm, 4 ships of the same class, Russian no less

If you mean lackluster and mediocre as f then yea, its cool. If you want 3rd turret, get Kiev with maxed out concealment, so you get both dakka department and some decent torping capabilities.

Ognevoi->Grozovoi can live without Expert Marksman just fine. And Udaloi is IMO highlight of the branch - Grozovoi is lackluster, despite being "Russian Gearing". Ognevoi was meh at tier 6, at tier 8 I just don't see it competing against anything.

Why WG should bother with buffing/changing barely played ship, when they can release new, more "balanced" one and charge you another 40 bucks for it? On other hand, how nuts (or lazy to not do any research) one have to be to buy literally Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V clone of a ship, and not the most enjoyable nor effective one at that? Every Prinz review boiled down to "get Hipper if you really want her and spend money elsewhere" -

Youre missing overmatch, which allows BB shell to impact and damage overmatched plate at ANY angle. And at +-10km range most BB shells will impact decks at single digit angles, 15 degrees tops, where 18mm plate struck at 80 degrees is still over 100mm effective... -

Except Algerie have whole 200m advantage over Hipper, while C.Martel have 100m shorter range Hipper isn't the most epic or thrilling T8 cruiser, but it simply worked for me so I've kept her in port. Simply abuse any broadside with AP -

And its rare as fck. For a good reason to be honest.

Khaba gains 4th turret, some hp, AA, some armor which works both ways and loses concealment, rudder shift, usable torps and range compared to Tashkent.

The same can be said about any non BB gun really. Z-46/52/Grozovoi: 4s->3.5s, Gearing: 3s->2.6s. Minotaur 3.2s->2.8s, while all the ships gain 2 kilometers in range, if not more Tashkent gets 17.6km range with AFT and upgrade, Udaloi gets 16.8km range. And these are (a lot) less clumsy than Khaba when it comes to WSAD hax -

But German HE have 51mm penetration, so all but Yamato decks are open for damage, as well "OP Kebab/Moskau" hulls Non German 203+IFHE have barely 44mm penetration, which leads you to nowhere, so Germans have more gains here. -
