    Fushun (ex Gnevny class) combines russian speed and gunpower with decent DW torps and 3nd best concealment at tier 6, after Hatsuharu and Gallant, sprinkled on top of that with Aliexpress smoke. What can go wrong

    USN used to have all out fighter decks or all out strike decks. Lex with 1xTB and 3xDB with 1000lb bombs was quite powerful, but due to no fighters she was hilariously easy to shutdown. Now she loses on boompower while still being counterable, perfect WG balancinks camrade!

    WG in their wisdom decided to make USN CV inflexible, and current Midway is great example of WG balancing, you get 2x6 TB squadrons made of paper, that die left right and center near any AA, but can nuke low AA ships just fine. It would make a glimpse of logic, if not for Hakuryu having comparable TB strike without durability/speed penalties.

  5. Cruiser/destroyer releases doesn't cause MM hiccups, at least on that magnitude. And somehow on every cruiser release there is still plenty of battleship players who want to farm easy exp.

    Try actually evading things in hightier cruisers, they are not THAT small. RN cruisers have hydro, and yet their clumsiness when reversing and then accelerating forward is guaranteed way to catch torps, even with Vigilance buffed Hydro. Citadel on DD: BB sized shell deals from 7200dmg (Nassau) to 14900 (Conqueror/457). Now look at DD hitpoints, amount of shells BB send to the target and you might see why citadels were removed from DDs.     Quickest, dirtiest way of fixing that would be BB cap to 3max, with MM rule to freely create 12v12BB (or any other class) battles when players are available, to reduce noise from players stuck in queue 12v12 CV, that would be interesting

    So I've bought Missouri before 0.7.2, everything fine and dandy except one tidbit - brief ship description. All premiums/event ships have typical description like "no research required, more credits from each battle" etc. From gameplays Missouri had the same description, now she have description matching preview ships, given to CC and supertesters So, does that mean she will be sooner or later removed from players?

    DDs and cruisers are (usually) more nimble than BBs, but even single torpedo hit can be crippling do them. AP suffers from occasional "multiple detonation" bug, when shell basically explodes twice/thrice and deal multiple (or random at times) amount of damage. DDs have no citadel, but regular penetration from BB AP shell deals damage comparable to one. And with hightier, rather big DDs regular pens are quite common if target angles away. If DD stays broadside then she will catch more shells for overpens, lose/lose situation. And you can't be angled/broadside to all 5 BBs, nor track them all AND DDs/cruisers you're up against now.
  10. And yet campaign is perfectly doable for someone who doesn't have baguette boats at all. Time consuming, yes, but it doesn't require any feats of strength or pulling off impossible shenanigans on regular basis.

    5 BB is still too many, 5BB, 5DD and 2CA/CL are quite common, especially at higher tiers. And amount of BBs is that high MM can't cope with them and spew battles like 12v12 BB... which are even more campfest than usual

    Rep supposedly have the best penetration <15km. But even lowly 356mm shells have enough penetration to go through angled, but below ricochet angle Moskva armor. Hell, even 203mm guns can do that as well on medium distances What makes Moskva armor "good" is resisting overmatch from all munitions available. Only that. Her sticking out citadel can make her poof faster than Minotaur

Przy czym nie wiem, czy delikatność nie wynika bardziej z podwodnych penetracji jak z luki w pancerzu pod wieżami.     Roon is solid ship as fire support, but her turret layout and even more so, bad firing angles nullifies her at any situation, where return fire is on "incoming". Not the most enjoyable ship and no reason to keep her once Hindenburger is researched.

    Well, they are ze German, armored enough to withstand HE anyway. 203AP works against them broadside though. Basically Des Moines should solve all issues here

    For first time completing you get some rewards, these are kinda specific to the mission in question. And they are fun way of grinding ships, way better earnings than normal coop. Atlanta is useful for her sheer volume of fire, not so much for anti air. And this applies to all T7 ops so far. Basically light cruisers are preferable in Scenarios, 8inchers don't reload fast enough to mop up all the crowds.

    This Operation is perfect example of "historical accuracy" not working for game - ship selection is too limited. One option to alleviate this would be enabling all ships of respective tiers to play Scenario together with repeatable Challenge, giving +50% exp/credits/whatever to "fitting" ships. That way players aren't excluded, but rewarded for bringing proper ships. Thunderstorm mechanic is certainly interesting, but its too binary in action - it should gradually apply penalties as ships are closing to the center of the storm. Interface already has icons for that Also when we're at it, "M" have to be in next row? It happens regardless of resolution
