    Well, Ibuki IS Mogami/203 with access to heal, 6th upgrade slot and some AA added here and there.
  2. That would be 3rd time, one could guess WG figured out how to deal with additional salt mine by now. And I'm genuinely curious how that collab would work in game. Arpeggio and HSF had ships to implement, here? I can see only captains with custom VO, unless WG remodels ships into shipgrills themselves. Which would be whole new level of weird, trying to find citadel in enemy waifu

    MAA could replace 30% dps bonus from manually selecting squadron with higher number. I dunno, 100% bonus to make it worth 4 points and just like Manual Secondaries AA guns wouldn't open fire unless ordered to do so

    Fire deals %hp damage, so BoS is as "useful" on T1 as on T10 cruiser, especially as fire on cruisers last 30s. So for 3 points invested in BoS you gain what, 4.5s on fire duration? And cruisers with <139mm guns are in minority in this game I'm afraid. SI is obvious choice on ships with multiple consumables, not so much if all you can use is Hydro/DFAA

    I guess extending BFT/AFT skills to work on CL/CA sized guns could do, maybe with limited benefits. Something like BFT: -10% reload on guns up to 139mm, -5% reload on guns up to 240mm AFT: +20% main battery range on guns up to 139mm, +10% main battery range on guns up to 240mm

    Prinz Eugen/Hipper - How to make it work?

    Charles Martel is the best T8 cruisers because she has basically everything. Range, ballistics similar to German 203mm, DPM of a T9 cruiser, good maneuvreability and Baguette class Engine Boost. AA is only lacking part, spaced armor is unpredictable at best. So you can say CM is OP, but then she is the cruiser I enjoy even in T10 filled games because she has range, firestarting potential and with Engine Boost and double rudder mods you can play her like a 3XL Kebab. On other hand Hipper class benefit greatly from introduction of FR battleboats, which only T10 can overmatch 27mm plating (and 30mm turtleback)

    Mogami rudder shift module

    If I remember correctly Takao class turns well, as long as you keep speed high. Usual trick of cutting throttle (or whatever its called on ships) to 3/4 or half to tighten turn doesn't seem to work on them. Personally I run both Takao and Mogami with Propulsion mod2 and Concealment, but I do see benefits of double rudder mods in Charles Martel - that thing with Engine Boost on is hilarious.

    You underestimate how long it takes to stop reversing and go forward in RN cruisers... Hydro+Vigilance here is actually good idea. When you're in the open and sailing forward you can use their agility to evade, Vigilance alone is enough. Demo Expert on other hand gives only 1% effective fire chance against tier 10 (50% base fire resistance), making that skill somewhat doubtful. But then, amount of clearly useful T3 skills is limited. Picking one T1 and one T2 skills could be an option, but then amount of useful T2 skills isn't that high. AR for sure, EM is base turret traverse needs it. What else? Last Stand? I can see it being valuable on FR cruisers as they tend to surrender their rudders on first shot being fired at them. High Alert/JoaT are more BB oriented with their longer cooldowns

    One thing Tashkent have over Kebab is range - 15.2km vs 13.5km. That thing alone makes Tash more friendly or Khaba more punishing, depending on your point of view.

    Tashkent never was trashkent, simply Kiev used to deliver the same bang at tier lower. Nowadays though, Tash have THE longest gunboat main artillery range, couple that with very high amount of hitpoints, heal and you get very good Kebab trainer. Tashkent, unlike Kebab have actually useful torps to boot as well. And you need to get used to lack of handling in Khaba as well.
  11. This. Only German sonar is of any offensive value, and even then you need to be uncomfortably close to the enemy. DFAA also comes in handy to knock spotter/catapult planes fast on CVless matches to deny enemy team vision. While you won't make AA powerhouse out of Mogami, DFAA alone can screw up CV strike, which often can be enough. On number of cruisers AFT is decent choice simply because there are worse skills to pick

    Terrain indicator takes center of the ship as reference point - easily check with single, narrow island/mountain. Should turrets were mounted centrally, they would hit island. But bow/stern ones clears just fine.

    10km, 59kts, 1.5km detection, 16.2k dmg, 76s reload against 8km, 65kts, 1.3km detection 13.7k dmg, 90s reload. Bucky theoretically have higher chance to nuke something, but German fishes give way less time to react, while Gaede can stand up to gunfights... at least for a while

    Concealment Expert is best skill on ANY ship, including carriers* *once Air Supremacy is obtained Bucky suffers from usual power creep - Gaede is just as decent torpedo boat with competent guns and hilarious amount of hitpoints. Fushun's Deep Water torps are nothing to sneeze at, while rest of the ship doesn't lack either - fast, excellent concealment and gunpower. Turret traverse is fixable with Expert Marksman as well. Biggest issue of tier 6-7 DDs is facing T8 destroyers, which can mount Concealment System mod 1, which gives additional edge in detection. And its no fun being outspotted and then outgunned by Bensons. Outrunning them is doable only in Russian gunboat destroyers and even that will take some time (and hitpoints)

    DM only issue is slow shell velocity, otherwise she is certainly far from underperformer.
  24. Well, entire branch uses exactly the same 6"/47 guns you should be familiar from Cleveland, in different turret configurations.
  25. Jeżeli "dawne czasy" kiedy BFT/AFT działały na 6calowe armaty są jakimś wyznacznikiem, to Cleveland z 17.5km zasięgu miał ponad 17s czas lotu pocisku. Podobny czas lotu można teraz uzyskać z Baltimorem/DM z ulepszeniem w zasięg i spotterem, jak ktoś chce poćwiczyć frustracje
