    Except baseline income haven't changed, tier 9 permanent camo economy bonus was kinda worthless before change, common credit bonuses are still plenty.

    Petro was and I think still is go-to for Clan Battles by virtue of not-dying when angled. Ability to smash broadsides, should any appear as well Radar is also welcome. She, just like entire Russian tech tree if you think about it, can be summed as "overspecialization" - extremely good at certain things, but also extremely bad at others. Its up to player to make the best out of that package. "Extremely good" part also makes for nice clickbait vids or topics, but I don't see anyone praising HE shells or long range accuracy on Petro Ranked is just Randoms with different icon, still the same randomly assembled teams. And there's a reason why obnoxious youtubers are obnoxious. Also if memory serves me right, most "content creators" caim Petro is overpowered due to her strong points, not necessarily she's next best thing since sliced bread.

    Nevsky is much more versatile, or rather, not cripplingly overspecialized in AP, while being enjoyable simply by virtue of high rate of fire. But she still can feel lackluster when denied AP option. Petro excels at smashing broadsides, BB included at mid range at best. Outside of that, she's just mediocre.

    Which especially puts into question why one would spend rare currency on her When stars align, she's okay, but otherwise its snorefest festival of overpen-ricochet-shatter. Fragile hull doesn't help her. Even Agir I find much more usable, if nothing else she remain somewhat effective as plain old firestarter.

    And since when Siegfried is "ermagad overpowered german biasmachine"? Because both have 380mm guns, not sure from which christmas tree you've got 457 ones. Point is, trading reload and barrel count for overmatch of a plating you barely see at hightiers isn't worth. Stalingrad possesses the same AP pen and better ricochet angles than Sevastopol, without mentioned penalties. Sure, concealment is 404, but have quite a lot of overmatch resistant plating and radar utility in return.

    And is Siegfried fun, firing 4/6 shells of obsolete BB caliber every +-22 seconds? Because Sevastopol is for all intents and purposes touched up Siegfried with Kronshtadt armor... which does NOT contain 50mm stalinium.

Both Carnot and Kearsage have "great damage per salvo", yet even WG employee should notice 10x305 isn't equal to 12x406. Both Neustrashimy and Moskva have "easy to accurately shoot at long ranges", yet 130mm pales in comparison to 220mm guns when it comes to ballistics. Then you have gem on Incomparable - "AP shells do not ricochet off the plating of ships of an equal tier" - icebreakers say hi

  18. IIRC Wargaming stated enemy ships won't change ie no Missouri->Vermont upgrade for tier 8 Narai, just get "buffed stats", so probably faster reload, more hp and such. Ship wise, anything with good dpm will do. That part doesn't change compared to what we have now, while tier 8 allows bringing proper secondary ships into the fray. Akizuki will be go-to destroyer of choice simply by virtue of being CL in all but name, while Concealment stat is kinda irrelevant in PvE.

Uhh, what this ship is supposed to do exactly? 3x2 15cm guns on a DD... good firing range: 13.3km, well, that checks out significant damage to other destroyers: same HE damage as IJN destroyers, 2150 or even larger ships: 3000 for AP, actually subpar damage for its caliber. And unless we're looking penetration and ricochet angles comparable to second German DD line, these rounds are going to be uhh, lackluster you can't even rely on good ol rate of fire, not with 8s base reload medium speed: 64kts, sort of fits in medium damage: 13700, one of the lowest at tier 10, only EU destroyers have less. medium range: 10km, okay? fast reload time and notably lower count of torpedoes: 70s and 2x3 accordingly, so fits in Whatever... Properties of the airstrike seems to be focused on firestarting, given hilariously weak HE pen Also 20.5mm HE pen is oddly specific value The ship has good concealment - 5.9km with all the bonuses. That is not "good", certainly not "good enough" to compensate for otherwise cripplingly bad gunnery and underwhelming torpedoes. With no defensive consumables besides (standard?) Engine Boost, that ship is going to get eaten alive even by Shimakazes, let alone anything less impotent in gunnery department. Looking at raw stats, the highest praise about this ship I can give is... well, it was actually made in steel?

Thing is, mid range and especially short range are rarely useful - most rocket and TB enter that anti air with damage reduction active during preparation or outright immune during after-drop animation. Long range AA is what does most of the work. Mid and short range does come into the picture against dive bombers, which spend the longest time within AA bubble. Now, if IJN CL line were to get DFAA in separate slot, maybe instead fighters, they could at least try to be "AA screen" of sorts? But then I'd love to see DFAA being split from Hydro for all cruisers in first place.
