Then quit whining when company tries to make money and take this mythical wand capitalism gives everyone - wallet. And vote with it.
-
It doesn't take 3 hours to get 36k battles in Tonks and then 4k+ games in WoWs, so you should know by now, WG, as "evil capitalist pig" understand only one thing, and that is money. You mean Belfast? They sink just fine.

Do you realize Harugumo makes Khaba NIMBLE in comparison? Closest to truth about Haru would be statement she is broken - sacrifices EVERYTHING you would expect from destroyer to get obscene gunpower. And yet, server wide she struggles to overtake Khabarovsk despite "all the opness". And here I leave you with classic reply: why you don't get one yourself and farm all the noobs with this so overpowered piece of naval (WG) engineering? After all, WG clearly stated Harugumo is their own design of "what if".
-
Then you would notice how glacier Harugumo is to move around. She is prime target for torps, be it ship based or airborne. And once more, go be butthurt somewhere else.
-
At least he doesn't suffer severe case of butthurt...
-
Thats the point, can't spoil everyone with free goodies
-
This is why I'll stay on Kita, one gun extra isn't worth concealment, handling, receiving full pens and quite likely nerfhammer. On other hand, it would be hard to rebalance Haru without breaking her. She literally sacrifices everything for that dakka

Thankfully there are no Azur Lane ships, only captains. I have hard time seeing shipgirl among regular ships, even more so hiding her via filters, if anything having her as port mascot, walking and doing stuff on board. But then, Seagal was barely noticeable on Missouri deck yep, warboats aren't small Arpeggio boats are/were spot on, clones of existing ships, so no issue there -
I know. Lols would follow.

Well, WG could change HE pen on German derpstroyers to 1/4 for "consistency across the tree" Though 15cm guns on Gaede/Zed23 could make use of that

Unique Commanders / Captains - on what ship to use them?

For the same reasons as on Yamato - extra consumable on First Blood, heal and reload boost in case of Kraken. Skill wise, EM will be handy for those players not afraid to open fire. Hodore captain is borderline essential on Henry IV, as you need improved EM to keep turrets on target during hard maneuvers. Obviously, if you're of island camping variety then it matters little. Ovechkin improved EM and SE screams Gremyashchy and Leningrad -
So you're asking for something already existing in the game since time immemorial? 203 AP notoriously overpen destroyers broadside, while ricocheting when angled enough. If you sail at around 45 degrees, then shells might arm and not leave the ship before going boom.
-
CL AP is already more than usable for the same reason it works on Akizuki - enough pen to damage bow/stern/superstructure/upper hull. Just for some reason people tend to angle when this puny Cleveland blasts them for 5k+ per salvo with AP
-
Basically all WG "plans" can be wrapped up with IFHE nerf, presumably complete removal of fire chance. CL can't penetrate BB/hightier CA plating, while CA already penetrates 32mm - something what we have now already since... always? But then, "CA will penetrate any plating on their battle tier" could mean Furutaka getting 19mm HE pen, enough to damage tier 5 BB. Which might sound fine, until you realize Furutaka becomes immune to her own HE - amidship is 25mm, deck 48mm. On top of that, 19mm doesn't help against tier 6-7 battleboats, leaving 6gun cruiser hilariously outgunned. 25mm HE pen brings up back to square one, as there are is only one BB within Furutaka MM with >25mm plating (not counting actual armor), that being Nelson. Basically applying HE pen per ship instead currently per caliber solves only lack of confusion. Because game mechanics are so commonly known, you could pull someone at 3 AM from their bed and they will recite HE mechanics, AP ricochet angles, how AA works and ship specific armor plating
-
And for a dolla, Cossack is one heck of a boat.
-
Ship version of WoT HE certainly could skip this so much working as intended part of "shoot the front turret to radiate HE damage onto much thinner hull roof" And we're talking about WG, remember that.
-
HE damage reduction as IFHE penalty could work too. Or go World of Tanks way Basically, if HE shell doesn't penetrate, it deals half damage THEN armor thickness further reduces damage received up to complete absorption. What could be added as upgrade is spall liner, further reducing HE impact. No idea if it was used in warboats though.
-
I wonder about "minor penetrations" for HE. Lets say, Mogami 155mm have by default 25mm HE pen, as she have now. Ships with 25mm plating and below get normal HE damage (0.3), but ships with plating above that receive only 0.1 HE damage. To prevent DD killing BB by shooting main belt, if plating hit exceeds HE pen+30% then shell shatters and deals no damage. That way change could be applied to CL only, without changing plating across the entire game. Then, IFHE would improve "minor pens" at complete expense of fire chance. Or change skill into something else entirely

Arpeggio of Blue Steel, Haifuri and Azur Lane, former being somewhat reasonable if sci-fi, then kids on boats and last being... bewbs Each collab has ended and not coming back so far And bonuses mostly stack multiplicatively , credit/exp ones are additive AFAIK. Which is reason why I don't use PM, it reduces chance and by not that high value. So rudder, engine, guns and torpedo turrets still can break, usually when you need them right flipping now -
Or what Okt.Rev have - limited Damage Control Party. Now you can go and blame WG for not reflecting such puny traits as breakdowns, gun barrel wear, seakeeping and whatnot, all for Bussian Rias
-
Not mentioning HE explodes on contact with water, unlike AP, as underwater penetrations are a thing.

There are two "Dragon" captains and then there are ship personifications of anime variety, latter coming with their own squeaky voices -

Personally "base" DD build with exception of Russian gunboats for me is PT, LS, SE, CE. Then build on top of that what you need for the line, TAE for Japan, BFT for US. I happen to run the same "multipurpose" build on US and German DD, and presumably on IJN too if I had one Granted, thats "endgame" build for 19lvl (maximum) captain. Demo Expert can be safely switched to Superintendent And better is to move already experienced captain up the tier and train new one for ships you've considered "keepers" - brand new captain on lets say, tier 8 DD is asking for trouble. And Monaghan is... aquired taste I'd say. 10 torpedoes with another ten following shortly due to Torpedo Reload Booster consumable can deliver a lot of giggle at midtiers, but you won't outgun many DDs with two guns total IIRC there is Campaign, "Honorable Service" for which final reward is tier 6 IJN Shinonome, with 11lvl captain, surprisingly solid allrounder boat which can act as IJN DD captain trainer until you get 19lvl ones and start earning Elite Exp. -
WG can you please lower the xp reward for last 4 players

Considering Russians made 152mm nuclear warhead for ISU 152 assault gun, I want twelve of these in Chapayev, for extra fireworks obviously Besides, 51cm PewPewKanones gives no overmatch edge, unless we count Fuso and her 35mm deck
