Seemingly everyone brought out their credit painted T10 now, with DM/Wooster with event paint being especially in force

You can pay2grind up to 10k steel and then some more from snowflakes, depending how whale you are. Still far cry from needed 21k unless you're already somewhat successful ranked/CW player. And WG is perfectly aware they are treading on thin line with selling steel missions, so I wouldn't expect anytime sooner than next christmas, maybe some summertime marathon to keep players on. And its borderline genius, make players pay you for playing your f2p game for some supposedly OP virtual stuff.

I'd remove unguided rockets from IJN planes and replace them with bombs, AFAIK nippons did not used them. Also would help with "national flavor" and whatnot

Add to that doing actual ambushes around islands with torpedo bombers, as line of sight actually matters in rework. -

Yep. Its kinda hard to pull off as you have no torp lead indicator. Fara have few videos on that matter IIRC -

In controls you can enable "dynamic crosshair" which, how do I say it, keeps scale on lead indicator regardless of zoom and when you're at it, set "Alternative Interface mode" to full, shows quite lot more info than "here is enemy". Also last known position and ship names on minimap - ingame, press Ctrl to unlock mouse, click on small cog next to minimap. And IIRC Pg Up and Pg Dwn controls zoom camera, they might work for sniper mode too. -

Nurnberg have two issues not helping with aiming - lightweight shells, slowing down massively with range, skewing lead for short and long range as well very high rate of fire. For starters I'd suggest slowing down on reload and look where your salvo went, based on that adjust your aim. Once you get hang of it, you can go full dakka. -

And yet skill gap is going to increase. And in WT skill gap for planes is about as big, if not bigger, it takes only a few players able to actually climb to spawnkill enemies with impunity. WoWp killed itself with lack of polish and inability to at least pretend to balance inherent advantage of BnZ fighters, magic Engine Boost would be solid solution if not for engine suffocating 500m above "optimal" altitude, while offending BnZer usually had ability to fly high in the first place and still have the same magic boost. -
Also she doesn't have shortened fuse time, so she is more likely to citadel BBs (if available in first place) and overpen broadside cruisers up close. Hood AFAIK gets USN ricochet angles instead HE pen.

Gearing was a downgrade, or rather sidegrade before she got Fletcher torps. With them, she trades agility for even more dakka so one might consider her to be an upgrade. -

Tashkent used to be Trashcan back in the day when she was tier 8, with Kiev preceding her. And compared to Kiev, she was kinda downgrade - bigger, clumsier, worse camo without current benefits of massive hp pool, heal, range, quick turning turrets and tier 9 reload upgrade. -
Considering Edinburgh citadel barely sticks out of waterline, regular penetrations would be your best hope at best. And when you pack guns having over 8 times penetration than actual armor you want to punch at 3km, overpen is to be expected.
