I guess it doesn't hurt (too much) to add this to weekly/monthly report, at least its not server hamsters dying. There could be small "event" related to the swap, like players who researched Grozovoi gets FXP discount on Udaloi, players who played more than 100 battles get bigger discount etc.

Amagi have much better guns, and main armament consistency beats in effectiveness basically any secondary build you can think of.

Tashkent on other hand trades armor for not eating AP pens and ability to piss people off at longer distances than 13km, something handy when facing railguns or anyone with touch of aiming skills. Hp and speed difference is minimal

Which might be "solution" in minds of some people - no more unfair plane, WSAD hax and aimbot, only sea of broadsiding Yamatos throwing HE at each other and failing to land all of them. -
Thats magic of bad dispersion, especially prevalent on battleships with lots of guns like Lyon or Kurfurst - something WILL hit no matter how guy on receiving end with WSAD his way through. I wonder how much WG would earn in their store if they started selling altars to RNGesus instead hoodies, scarfs, pins and whatnot

Welcome to actual battleships, where you can safely alt tab, check forums, set new music on yt/spotify/whatever, go back and still wait for reload Sometimes no amount of aiming skills will help with German dispersion

Manual AA is something this ship excel at, so I've put my Hindenburg captain on her (PT, AR, SI, CE, MAA). Kinda shame Manual Secondaries don't work, as this could be great niche for PEF for Operations and occasional Random, if I ever would want to take that ship to battle to start with.

Gneis guns as any BB are temperamental, further aggravated by small amount of them and lacking performance/overmatch compared to Big Seven. Secondaries are brutal though, as they can melt any cruiser and most battleships below tier 8. If you intend to bring out Gneisnau into randoms, I'd go for main battery accuracy upgrade, concealment and survivability skills, secondaries spec is excellent and fun choice for Operations though, like current Narai

With stat snapshot ColonelStats provided, Harugumo played 5635 battles by 326 players, compared to Kebabs 3388 battles and 198 players (Shima in comparison did 31280 battles, 1592 players). So way newer ship beats in popularity few years old boat at least by half, so with that one might deduce Khaba is sort of acquired taste after her repeated nerfing and if someone bring Kebab to the table, there is slightly higher risk of said player knowing what's he doing.

Okt.Rev guns are 305mm, with performance comparable to oh so (in)effective PEF guns. And for your Impregnator rees I'd like to present you Wyoming, with similar 12gun salvo weight, but without beard growing 36s reload

But then, to balance 12gun salvo sigma at tier 5 would have to be in negative, as Fuso already have 1.5 or so.

Khaba isn't that much better, but is MUCH less forgiving to play than predecessors.

Armor can stop low to mid caliber HE. But also it arms AP like a charm, especially bad as Khaba was spared from "BB AP overpen only on DDs" change. And what "overspecialization" as entire line from Tier 7 onwards uses exactly the same gameplay of run and gun? If you want to cap bases in Tash/Kiev, its bad idea no matter how much camo you stack on them, as it still above 7km, though enables stealth torping for late game low hp situations. Khaba sacrifices too much for that 50mm stripe of armor and 4th turret, while having quite worse firing arcs for rear turrets And times of "Trashkent" are long gone since she is tier 9, even more so since she got quick traverse turrets.

Neustrashimy is coming to the game as (presumably) Free Exp T9 ship. But what if... She would replace Udaloi (T9 RU DD in alternate branch) to make progression much more linear, while Udaloi herself would turn into Free Exp ship? She is already in nicely balanced state, while all out gunboat in actual destroyers branch doesn't make sense. @MrConway @Crysantos How bad idea is that?

Udaloi always was good ship, why she was placed in "DD" line while keeping her gunboat profile is beyond me. She could be easily turned into Freemium DD with Neustrashimy taking her place in tech tree, making way more sense progression wise.

No amount of upgrades for T7 cruiser, or any cruiser for that matter will help you against Moosushi/Yamato guns

Thing is, Khaba over her career was repeatedly nerfed while Tashkent was repeatedly buffed, to the point its questionable that one turret is worth all the penalties. Tash works just fine with the same build as Kebab, but due to having actual rudder shift she can get Concealment upgrade, combined with 8km torps it enables her to stealth torp incoming ships. On top of that Tash have almost the same range as Kebab of old 15.2km, recent addition of DP turrets solve her issue of slow turret traverse

That is why I consider FR and UK battleboats to be battlecruisers, as while they have battleship grade guns, they lack reliable protection. And Moosushi goes away because WG set too low price for it, compared to actual coal gains

AA will be shortly meaningless, while 16mm HE pen WILL be an issue should Błyskawica get any refit options. Also ballistics are going to be so atrocious AFT would be hilariously useless. And captains aren't really an issue, as you can get yourself very serviceable Błyskawica skipper with 13-14 points. -
You still need to shot down planes, as any damage done is meaningless when plane return to the carrier. Add to that AA is now mostly for self defense, with DP guns having anything resembling range and even then worse than currently with AFT/AA range upgrade.

Except you can counter summoned fighters by summoning your own fighters, making entire endeavor pointless as CV is free to strike.
