Blyskawica - WG says it can't buff it because of "stats".
Panocek replied to Aragathor's topic in General Discussion
Ovechkin is literally made for Grem/Lenin, as they are only DDs requiring EM now in RU line. -

Except this time players need to be literally on top of each other, making uber prime target for Shimasashio torps. -

If I remember correctly RN carrier planes had hard on towards rockets, which could made as RN gimmick. IJN could replace their rockets with small HE/incendiary bombs on fighters as Japan did not use unguided rockets, with USN being something in the middle, maybe replacing FFARs with Tiny Tims only (not want to happen, also they are late war gimmick). -

What you're refering as "bursting charge" is actual propellant. And guess what, historical shell velocity is in game since day one for 120mm Bofors guns (900m/s). Freedom Dual Purpose mortar have slightly heavier shell, justifying touch better HE damage. But AP damage is on Błyskawica side. And maximum range =/= effective range, which already is in Błyskawica favor due to well, better base range and ballistics good enough to consider AFT. Otherwise you would have Yamatos shooting at each other at 42km or so. Besides, the very source you've posted is not certain what shell is carried by sailor on the right. -
The only "nerf" Udaloi get was option to mount DFAA and she for Fletcher grade torps speed/detection wise. Unless you mean stealth firing removal, something Udaloi excelled at

"Remove arty" is quite popular theme on Tonks forums as well, for roughly the same reasons - "he shoots me but I can't shoot him back". Though (indirect fire) self propelled guns are less related to tank warfare than CV are to naval warfare during ww2
-
You mean they apply sledgehammer to top of jackhammer because power supply was traded for vodka crate?
-
That and how balancing premium CVs will go. Its easier to buff than nerf to avoid whine and general noise, I guess WG could release premiums in somewhat lacking state and gradually buff them if needed. Issue is, WG loves to balans things with sledgehammer

Amount of working as intended here is beyond me. For paper strike aircraft/dive bombers for Germans they can just loot WoWp, Persha Studio did their homework there. But hey, if we have 109 floatplanes, expecting Ta-152 dive bombers is only natural. -
Yelling at CV's for no fighter cover (rework)

Summoned fighters don't do damage to ships, but they can be easily countered by enemy CV summoning his own fighters, so you're back to square one - CV free to molest warboats. And from my experience from PTS, dive and torpedo bombers are the most susceptible to casualties from AA as they need to spend some time flying somewhat predictably to drop their ordnance. You have to extra special to suffer massive casualties in one go when controlling rocket planes. And as planes are now unlimited, but with slow replenishment, to deplane CV you need to find volunteer who will just keep tossing his planes at pockets with most AA or fighter cover. -
So, to fix CV rework we need to go super acoustic, like reverse yoloing Midway into cap?

Since when WG follows playerbase input?

FFARs can land in 10k territory per volley as well, while being considerably less vulnerable by virtue of being faster to carry out attack and bugger off afterwards, while 33mm HE pen is enough for most targets. With 4 runs as well. DB can damage Yamato/Wurst/Montana/Moskvagrad decks, but fail to dent Midway/Haku ones, unless you drop bombs on sides, in theory doable when DB exit their dive.
-
FFAR is love, FFAR is life. That and occasional TB run, DB feels lacking, considering effort needed to line up and vulnerability to flak when doing so.

What I find not quite clear is how large flak bursts actually are, or how big squadron hitbox is. I've had cases of slowing before barrage to wait for it to die down, only to lose entire squadron to (presumably) it before reaching. -

As of now (PT no.3) DFAA increases both AA dps and flak bursts, doubling on cruisers and tripling on DDs -

Midway is certainly interesting, if I got that result just by applying "toss enough crap at wall and something will stick" MLG tactic -

As I'm goofing with Lex/Shokek, Players in Dallas/Pensa with AA spec seem to be decent at knocking my planes down. Which would be an issue except even with supposed "nerf" to plane replenishment I still had plenty to toss at poor bugger and no one else had AA build of any significance. Lining up strikes was bigger hurdle. -
I assume 500k exp research price tag for T10 ships on PT no.3 is working as intended?

You're comparing Roma to stock Richelieu. When you actually bother to upgrade Rich, she have merely 1400 hp less, AA is much more potent at mid/short range - 173/222/66, compared to Roma 54/128/114. Rudder shift is in favor of Richelieu, by 0.2s, speed goes up to 36kts with flag and Engine Boost, not mentioning acceleration. And I don't know whats your issue with Richelieu accuracy, she is very consistent to me. Heck, even Bismarck main gun accuracy is surprisingly decent. If you want crap shooter, try Monarch

Were secondaries nerfed during the last 1.5 years? Can't make Bismark work anymore
Panocek replied to Alezul's topic in General Discussion
For viable secondary funsies I'm afraid you're limited to Operations* now, as even most of the time in Randoms you spend your time outside of their range unless you yolo your way through. *Scharnhorst, Gneisenau to be specific. Richelieu for Hermes could count, but she has too few guns and they are simply ineffective if you want them to do more than random fire. -
Yea, devs read the forum, RU one to be precise
