    Tinfoil hat is never out of fashion, especially when it comes to games coming from "russian" background. Players with pinch of humility are so rare one might forget they exist in sea of "I'm gud player but MM is rigged" examples

Yamato still excels at 25km sniping More seriously, Yamato still retains overmatch capabilities, and if leaked armor schemes are of any indication, RU BB will suffer massively due to enormous overmatchable bow and tiny waterline armor strip won't help them (much). Also RU BB are the most accurate up to 13km or so, above than IJN still remain superior.

    Similar bug is/was in WoT, when turret came out of sync with server, so you could hit enemy with turret facing backwards notice blue "server reticle" going haywire compared to turret and aiming reticle. That applies to object with 360 gun traverse though and it usually involves goofing or minor server fluke. Maybe similar cause, of server somehow not registering player "smooth" input to other side?

  13. I guess if you throw your boat between those PT boats instead "sniping" them from 5km away your gun accuracy might go up a bit

    Look at it the other way - if WG keep nerfing smoke it goes into negative, there is possibility of game engine not handling negative values so you end up with infinite smoke duration

  16. With competent crew and good ship selection you can farm 4+ star wins consistently. If you tack to that truckload of Free Exp modifiers, you can get solid Free Exp farm for yourself. Dynamo was especially good here due to being plain easy with AA specced Sims, as you can knock obscene amount of planes and torpedo boat kills and Sims herself have increased exp modifier With random teams, Dynamo is still easiest to carry IMO. Other Ops aren't as easy, especially as secondary tasks are often put in different parts of maps *cough* Narai *cough* CV and transports
  17. You might not want to meet flying battleships in Dynamo and Cherry. Hermes, Frontier and Raptor are salvageable by replacing CV with BB or other boats though. Quick top off my head: Hermes - replace GZ with 3rd Hipper and a DD (Maass?) Frontier - replace CV and her escort with Iowa and dub her "flagship" to sink Raptor - replace Ranger with Colorado, Engineer support ship upon arrival restores propulsion as mission goes, Arsenal support and Aviator CV are replaced with two DD providing gunfire support

    AP bombs have tendency to overpen cruisers, though what I had not opportunity to test is main belt penetration when planes exit dive. Though that require excessive amount of luck and timing - attack from broadside, pray for target to not angle and drop bomb within those 2s window when planes exit dive and fly horizontally.

    Flak from what I've seen tend to create wall, so more bursts simply create larger wall, making it harder to fly around it, especially problematic on higher tiers as squadrons get bigger and clumsier

    Multiple ships simply put more flak bursts, so its possible to saturate entire airspace with AA and then planes die FAST. Conqueror of all ships is surprisingly tough ship to drop on, as all her Bofors create literal wall of flak you can try to slow down or speed past it but hardly go around when lining up for drop. AA upgrade increasing amount of flak decrease its value with tiers up, but then, what else you would put on, lets say, cruiser? Main battery accuracy is barely noticeable, turret traverse is usually enough, secondaries?

    Yep. You can TB around island for suprise torpedosecks, or divebomb over mountain with comparable emotional event.
  23. But I assume players can bring CV into Operations? And what about Narai and Frontier, will tier 6/8 CV be allowed in these?
