Dodging is quite easy on midtiers, when you're controlling rather small squadron and you aren't greeted by wall of guns on regular basis. But then, two torps/attack leaves something to be desired

Changing flank with CV planes is matter of seconds, so visiting self capping base is not a problem at all. Time window between squadron dropping last ordnance and new one on top of DD is about 30s. Not even Kebab can teleport itself fast enough to lose CV. Heck, CV still can interfere with other CV by plonking fighters, which still can knock number of planes if player cannot into minimap

Anyone have US client and is able and willing to check what are differences compared to PTS3? Based on article https://worldofwarships.eu/en/news/game-updates/cv8-which-nation-to-choose/ Midway already lost 2 rockets per HVARcat, SE gives 15hp/tier instead 20 for planes. I wonder what else

But then tier 4 CV will keep molesting you. And there even potato players will struggle to lose planes to AA because there is barely any.

Speeds in this game are already tripled if I remember correctly. Try to calculate your average speed when looking at post battle report and distance traveled. Otherwise Yamato would take about 26 seconds to reach 17km, if navweaps is any accurate instead current 9.6s -

Its not that much actually - 96 23mm (very) rapid firing guns might have FATAL short range dps, but then, range maximum effective was up to 2km at best so long range torping says hi. Ye Olde Bofors have 3.5km in game range and high tier BB have more than plenty of these PewPewKanones -

I wonder how cross server battles of "audience balanced ships" would look like. Mutually Assured Destruction due to all the nukes? Perfect theme for april fools and mass cross server test if you ask me

Lion was available for test drive as only RN BB before their introduction IIRC. Also premium ships were available to test on PTS only once, while WoT have/had all tech tree available premiums, which was decent way of test driving premiums you would be interested in.

Which is something I cannot compute - World of Tanks PTS enables to play (or at least used to) newest additions patch is about to deliver, while WoWs doesn't. Why put out PTS then, if players can't give feedback on new ship branch, besides molesting (or being molested by) random supertester found in battle?

Come to think of it, PTS rewards are good idea, but missions tied to them aren't exactly conducting towards, well, testing - play one battle, win 2 battles, including Coop. Some more "long term" mission with meaty reward (dunno, grind 25k base exp on tier 10 CV for 25k Free Exp on main account) could be incentive for players to spend more time on PTS. That and cut down on totally not grindmarathons you're putting on live server because there is only so many hours in a day
