    You need to preaim with gray crosshair, as any large adjustments, regardless if with keyboard of mouse sends torpedo accuracy to kingdom come. AA density and any fighters molesting your aircraft seems to have influence over how fast planes aim and how much spread they gain on any movement

    Anshan ALWAYS had 30s turret traverse. maybe you reset skills and forgot to apply Expert Marksman?

    AA range upgrade ALWAYS was in slot 3, so it always was a choice between main battery accuracy and dakka. Then you discover Freedom Battleboats not having such issues, so you can go full dakka And how much damage is done by disengaging after single drop?

    Midway could swap models on her strike aircraft - in real life BTD Destroyer was replaced by AD Skyraiders while in game its other way around. Though list of "historical inaccuracies" is longer -IJN using rockets - just give them small HE bombs with high accuracy and instant dive animation, used in Graf Zeppelin -USN tier 10 attack aircraft, F8F are overloaded with rockets to the point they clip through each other - historically they could carry 4 HVARs/2 Tiny Tims at best. So replacing model with F4F4 Corsairs, 8 HVAR/2TinyTim. BUT, that it payload tier 8 Lexington already have, so either increase damage OR make Midway Corsairs much more accurate to be more reliable damage dealers -B7A potentially unfit for Shokaku class due to plane length being longer than elevator well allows, so replacing them with B6N, while stock aircraft use B5N

    4. AA mounts AFAIK got 100%hp buff. And CV casualties are very valid concern, as replacing aircraft takes ages 5. DFAA used to double amount of flak, making it at times impossible to evade. And it was replaced with double flak damage and double dps And I dare you to try and "evade" high AA from multiple ships. It won't end pretty even if you perfectly evade every burst, as constant dps will grind you down. At worrying pace.

    Initially I was against rework and AA not overlapping is counterintuitive as flock, but the more I play and get hang of mechanics the more I like it. Needs some finetuning here and there, but WG ackgnowledges it will be needed, so... Soon(tm) Also with so much salt I guess WG could branch out into mining enterprise

    And yet CV bottom feeding, strugging to do more than rake water with rockets is commonplace. So as MrConway(?) said on stream - if you have whine coming from both ends (planes OP vs AA OP), you're roughly in balanced position. And its up to player skill to weave through AA. "Hurr durr you need AA build to shot down planes" but when you spec for survivability to negate cruiser and DD its all fine and balanced
  11. I've seen his shenanigans from pts, already helpful for general gameplay AA evasion from his Enterwaifu clip I already know and against single ships its borderline unfair plane. But when randoms bunch up, weaving gets tricky, which he gets away with F button

    Well, only handful of ships are in actual need of skill reorganization. That and some brainfarts like AR instead LS on DD with 10 point captain If not sure wat do with captain skills, just get baseline skills and then wait to see if CV die down, unless you want some meme builds or you need AA skills anyway *cough* Kebab *cough*

    Kinda depends what you want to do with Cleve. Spec into AA, surface combat, something inbetween? Base skill setup regardless is/would be PT, AR, Demo (or SI if you need more consumables) and CE. On top of that you can add IFHE to actually deal damage to ships you enconter on regular basis. With 18lvl captain you can add AFT for some AA bonus (and main battery range if happen to have Atlanta)

    What you're missing are ridiculously short DoT timers - fire last 5 seconds, flooding 30s. "To prevent CV sniping", in practice it makes CV surprisingly long lasting under fire unless you can citadel it reliably.

    Atlanta is speschul case here. Minotaur/DM/Wooster can deliver lot of hurt, especially with AA build and/or DFAA up.

    "AA cruiser" is relegated from protecting fleet from harm to farming planes himself, although if said "AA" cruiser is alone, she still can be struck by CV

    The same reason can apply to main gun and torpedo ranges. So uniform 15km torps and 20km main battery for everyone when? Planes already fly slower than they were able IRL. SB2C Helldiver (Lexington) could go up to 257kts with cruise speed being 137kts, in game its 175/125 respectively.

    Kinda low res, but then if you put your face into the model, no amount of "HD" will help you. BTD in game is upgrade over AD Skyraider. Plane which superseded BTD and had long and successful career, so in this case simple model swap would made so much more sense.

    Each aura puts out their own dps value within their range with some rng in shape of "accuracy", but they do NOT overlap. Because reasons What eludes me is if AA guns have their firing arcs modeled, as I recall something like that in early rework mentions. Looking at damage each tick deals regardless of orientation I guess its not the case.

    So far all I get is randoms blobbing up into massive wall of guns you can't just get into. That and Shokek (and IJN line in general) feels so overspecialized in anti capital ship duties, while not really being better at it than USN its not even funny.

    Randomness as in CV players not avoiding your AA flak bursts, which are main source of damage.
