    If you would use 2nd TB option, you would have 50kts airborne fishes. IJN AP bombs are not something to sneeze at either Also with Midway you can forget about TB most of the times - atrocious aim time, 35kts duds instead torpedoes, combined you end up with ordnance even battleships can evade. Dive bombers and rockets, particularly Tiny Tims are gud though..

    I imagine those "shelves" made of citadels are here to simply troll AP bombers, as unless fuse is short enough bomb might overpen through that I've put purple grade twin 127 on her instantly, as I've got it from some mission (?). Thing is, no matter how I math, German TbtsK C/36 have superior dps than Dual Purpose Mortars while also firing AP instead HE/Normal. I guess if I find that gun in better quality than common I'll put it on Sandy and give her a spin

    I've noticed Sandy is somewhat glass cannon. And CA outfitted with secondaries salvaged from DDs aren't that bad actually, though seemingly overshadowed by CL (Brooklyn) with secondaries Only kinda bad I've found out about Akashi mission AFTER not that small shopping in the shipyard

    You can start switching when planes are making their run, as sector remains reinforced when switching. With some timing you can almost instantly greet squadron with maximum dakka as they fly over you.

    Well, other way around seems to work better - fly in full strength, drop once, get out of AA range evaluate if you can make 2nd run, if not - recall. Works against not excessively AA packed groups Dropping ordnance before attack ensures you get most of squadron back, but whatever you send to attack anything with considerable AA is almost guaranteed writeoff due to how dps applies damage to planes

    AFT was preferable over MAA prior hotfix due to massive flak damage. Now as flak got nerfed and constant dps got extra buffed, MAA is actually better pick if you need more dakka
