Le Trollible: 54kts with all the goodies. Fastest plane in game, Midway F8F Beercan: 232kts with all the buffs 232/54=4.29 Hyperbole harder camrade. The same thing tier 8 cruiser do when facing Musashi: die -
With that logic, 20min start delay will cut down plane losses completely

Took you long enough. Also you know RNGesus strikes back when you grind majority of 2mil exp task on event map and still no Scharnies -
If anything, "ecosystem" favors shooting small ones while playing big one.

In theory doesn't seem so bad. But to not make CV completely inane at spotting for the team, I'd replace summon fighters consumable with spotter plane, which will transmit enemy location. But instead spotter spawning from high orbit, it would take off from carrier, take its time travelling to the location, do two-three circles and return. -CV can't provide instant spotting, but still can do it -single spotter isn't going to last under even mild AA -CV player can speed up spotter cycling by getting closer with the ship Still, anything "playerbase" can come up is going to be flushed down the toilet. Hard. Especially if it comes from EU forums

Except there are no hard counters in this game. BB vs DD is at disadvantage, but is not helpless assuming BB player can 2+2=/=5. Same with cruiser vs BB or DD vs cruiser. -

I guess purpose of vague "port/garage/hangar stats" is to: -not confuse average potato with too many numbers -allow stealth changes. In AA case 100dps can get by 10dmg every 0.1s or 1000dmg every 10s, which can have considerable impact on actual gameplay, while WG can put with straight face "no changes were made, you can see yourself in port" -
Recalling within speed boost after attack always was viable, damage immunity doesn't apply when recalling tho not sure post 0.8.4, can't keep up with WG shenanigans... nor I care too much now.

You haven't expected simple and reasonable game mechanic from WG have you?

To bring "balans" you so much desire you would have to arm planes with confetti. And even then players would keep screaming "OP CV keep touching by boat in inappropriate places" simply because they got used to extinct RTS carriers and WG did something to bring their numbers back. And if your planes drop confetti dealing next to no damage, I don't see many players willing to play "spotter" in game famous for lack of teamplay.

German AP bombs post buff should have actually THE highest penetration, based on this: Which is entirely irrelevant because presumably they arm and detonate before reaching citadel due to too flat trajectory

I'm not entirely sure "extra thicc" would be right trope for shipgirling non existent ship... maybe thin and with incomplete rig, as in starved of construction materials and missing technology for construction or somesuch. And officer hat, because ushanka is more fitting rank and file troopers shipgrills -

We already have weather that seriously favor surface peasants, ever tried to find DD who mastered location of P key in blizzard/thunderstorm? The same weather effects have no effect on plane detection tho -

You know the drill - something you want the most isn't going to happen anytime soon. Ever tried to find particular car in GTA? On other hand, I've got both Nicholas and Niizuki within 4 runs, when pushing for 10-2, where I've spent about week looking for merely "rare" ship
