Technically, we had no T9+ premium ships hidden behind paywall only. But that won't stop WG from cranking up coal/steel/whatever prices step by step, to make "money" option cheaper in comparison Georgia had no price rise compared to JB, but latter had considerable bump compared to Moosashi (176k coal IIRC)

Ammo that is still limited in supply. Akin to grenades to FPS games - in theory they are unlimited, if you hug ammo crate or somesuch, but in practice you use them on special occasions and when they will have the most effect.

Then you would have to limit ammo to like 1/4 of real capacity for that to happen. And it would potentially lead to... interesting situations, when two DDs meet on cap without ammo

You mean place replacement just like "infinnit dakka" on surface ships is gameplay decision of arcade variety? Even in the worst case scenario - Kebab, with (speculated) 150 rounds/gun, you have 10 minutes of continuous fire. Achievable to run out of ammo? Yes. Likely? Not really. Needed in game? No.

Shipcrafting is mostly in Offtopic, as I guess you will raise at least an eyebrow in Historical and mods will shoo shoo you from main Gameplay rather quickly. Game guides for existing in game ships (and some historical background) you can put into Game Guides/Ships. Don't expect much visitors though, everyone busy with REEEwork

A jednak RTSowe samoloty miały swoją przewidywalność - wiedziałeś z grubsza, jakie mogą być straty przy ataku na taki a taki cel. Obecne AA jedynie RNG jakie ma to położenie flaka i atakowany samolot, co daje efekt jaki jest, czyli nic, nic, nic i wydupcyło pół szwadronu bo hp się skończyło. I dla tych co "hurr durr lotniska bedom miały kontre" - nie ważne jak bardzo się staram, niszczyciele w zasięgu dział mojego Des Moines nie rozpuszczają się samoistnie bez mojego udziału, może muszę zwrócić go na gwarancję? Albo krążki nie chcą same umrzeć jak wyciągam Yamato, ba, recydywiści nawet do mnie strzelają i robią dzikie drifty unikając moich pocisków -

To be honest, T8 premium vehicle rule is more of a Tanks thing. There never were made claims of such rule being in WoWs, with first example being Missouri, which you could buy indirectly. Then Jean Bart was IIRC first T9 purchasable directly, as she is otherwise available by coal, currency WG can't directly monetize upon. And as T10 premium was already tested with Salem, I almost expect upcoming Yoshino to appear in premium store for those who can't afford coal pricetag

Again, if you would actually check armor layout, you would notice you can rake CVs with even small caliber HE across pretty much entire length with exception of armored belt and armored deck if applicable. Only exception is Audacious due to 21mm plating, enough to stop 128mm HE unless IFHE'd or otherwise having improved pen.

Issue lies more with GZ bomb drop pattern, which is IIRC is considerably shallower than IJN/USN and then drop pattern is circular, basically negating whatever WG buffs will throw at it. AP bombs in general have very sensitive fuse and short one at that, so they are pretty much guaranteed to arm at main deck. Part that makes or breaks AP bombs is distance from deck to citadel - in more vertical drops from IJN/Enty, you can reach citadels on pretty much all cruisers, German/Russian BB and have chances to do so on hightier USN BB. The shallower drop is, the more distance bomb has to cover before reaching citadel. Obviously to concern yourself whether bombs will reach citadel you need them to hit, something circular bomb drop of GZ not necessarily guarantees, unless WG makes it pretty much ship wide, which then would make them borderline OP, as it would be guaranteed to hit assuming correct lead

30mm plating is becoming increasingly useless with more and more 430mm+ battleships around. Repair Party is handy, but then its not unique to Ibuki, same story with Charles Martel and Saint Louis - most upgrades comes from having access to tier 9 goodies than ship itself is improved. Another reason why I'm not thrilled by Zao is fact I own both Moskva for ultimate railgun experience as well Henri IV, which packs Zao grade HE with comparable ballistics and have no need for main battery range upgrade straight out of the box, sprinkled with 51mm IFHE pen, MBRB and Engine Boost.

One thing not helping Ibuki is how effective Mogami in CL config is, but armor and survivability wise, they are identical. Range upgrade is safe option, if you learn The Way of the Island, you can take Reload upgrade for extra pew pew. That and Ibuki is much more likely to face T10 ships, which pretty much universally improve upon accuracy/salvo damage/reload/everything And before anyone comes reeeeing about "IJN high velocity guns can't lob shells over islands" - only Zao have railguns, IJN CA from Furrytaco to iBucky have pretty much identical ballistics to USN heavy cruisers. And if they can lob shells, nippons can do so just as well. And speaking of Zao, I find her to be surprisingly a downgrade to the point I've rebought iBucky. Guns and 12km torps are noice, but noticeably slower turret traverse, shorter range coupled with outstanding ballistics makes her pretty damn tricky to play around islands with Reload upgrade. That and atrocious firing angles on 4th turret. Actually, Ibuki loses on AA with hull upgrade. With stock hull, DP guns provide their pew pew in shape of 130dps and 5 flaks@1470 from 5.8km to 1.9km, where short range opens up with 464dps. Top hull cuts down DP guns range to 5.8km-3.5km, then 40mm Bofors deliver pinch more dps (145), but have only 4 flaks@910. And then short range is reduced to 361dps.
