Well, T10 gets boring quickly. But from economy standpoint, T10 with lick of premium paint is more than self sustainable. +-2 MM is core mechanic of the WoT/WoWs. Not because game would break, as number of premium tanks in WoT with preferential MM says otherwise, but how you would be "incentivized" to get next, bigger, badder tank/boat/plane, if you weren't subjected to regular interactions with it? After all, everyone want to club, not be clubbed Nerfing T10 premium paints would cause one of the finest shipstorms this game has seen. That and psychological aspect - no one likes when you take away from them... so give others more. In WoWs terms, either improve mid tier premium paints credit earning capabilities or considerably increase credit/exp gain when damaging higher tier ships. It would also reward skillful play, after all its not easy beating Des Moines with Mogami or somesuch... which is exactly why it won't happen, as WG main audience are players who can't play, but are willing to pay -

Nah, 3rd RU DD line is in order. With guided torpedoes with ricochet mechanics as well Besides, weren't UK cruisers promoted to use "SAP" ammo to start with? They already have cut in half fuse time, improved ricochet angles and whatnot -

There are no premiums on WoWs PTS I'm afraid. I'd abstain from purchasing multiple premiums, especially of tier 8 due to Matchmaking and as you have Massachusetts already. Georgia doesn't differ THAT much over Mass, JB is solid, but doesn't fill your "tanking a lot of damage" part as she takes a lot of HE and Yamato class damage. From IJN cruisers there is Atago, but due to brutal T8 MM and no Operations you could put her into motion for occasional PvE I'd vote against. Azuma/Yoshino are quite different from typical IJN CA. From premiums I can personally recommend: Indianapolis as bog standard US heavy cruiser, but with long range and Radar consumable, Atlanta for all your dakka needs, Scharnhorst for battlecruiser experience. All three also can be (ab)used in Narai Operation with good effect for funsies, exp and credits if you get not-completely-inane team.

I've meant 6TB/12 squadron, not 18. 18 sized squadron would be a no brainer simply due to extra reserves. And with 2-3km arming distance no way you could pull off more than one attack run, even with 8km range. With current 1.2km arming distance and 8km all you can pull of are two attack runs, and even then assuming you start at 10km, drop at 8km mark and go asap into another attack run. Considering any other TB in game have at least decent chance of landing torps on cruisers and depending on DD, I don't see why I'd want to gimp myself with 4TB again. DPS yes. But any other TB squad attack wing flies under flak and receive less, if any damage from it.

Flying Shima came from ability to dump all 12 torps on pretty much single target in single pass, or as Notser displayed, area with enemy ships, creating a significant emotional event for multiple ships. Every 30-45s. With next to no casualties because you barely entered AA and then all AA was focused in flak 4TB is workable only against capital ships and you can get worthwhile hit rate only when dropping up close. Any long range drops are pretty much meme only simply because you can't tell ship 10km away from you is moving, if at all and you have no "sniper scope" to zoom in and see smokestacks. And then there is survivability - 4TB attack wing flies on flak level, not below and even with dmg reduction from attack run, eats a lot of damage. Due to arming distance, invulnerability window ends on top of enemy ship, not 2.5-3km away, at the edge of mid range. Returning planes are also subjected to mid range, which is pretty much always fatal due to (a lot) of flak

Pensacola, Nope Orlean and Baltinope are already good trainers how to Freedom Cruiser. Or eternal Yuro With Des Moines class you simply crank up reload. A lot though Yuro went quite a troll setup with spotter plane

Des Moines is more than fine T10 CA and for overall surface combat Salem should be as good, if not better.

Because currently its in best case scenario inferior to 2TB options outside of few speschul cases and playerbase keep refusing them to use as WG envisioned ie stealth torping. And attempt to buff them and turn them into "glass cannons", without dmg reduction on attack and catching all the flak like they do now, but damn noobs for players still keep dumping torps at close range to maximize hit rate Though I'm curious how "long range" option would work as 6TB, but with 3-4km arming distance, slightly converging drop and give lead indicator akin to DDs @Crysantos @MrConwaythough it might be too late to forward "user feedback regarding 4TB Hakuryu option" for putting into shredder consideration

No, I totally haven't seen it Again, get Haku, get 4TB and prove everyone are too scrub to unleash power of 4TB. I'll settle with much more versatile and longer lasting 2TB option. Which soon will be the only option. Here comes the best part - after initial Flying Shima nerf, there were no significant damage output changes to CVs. All we had was aerial detection to help DDs, Rockets aiming time to reduce effectiveness against DDs, Dive Bomber spread change to reduce effectiveness against DDs (I think I see a pattern here), Engine Boost nerf to "reduce spotting". Which means WG is happy with average damage output. Which means, any major changes affecting planes and their survivability and thus, damage output, are either unlikely or will be compensated by increased alpha or shortening replacement times to keep avg dmg.

What determines whether build is viable or not is consistency, not one time stunt. And Musashi being THE overpowered T9 battleship, I don't think any captain build will be actively detrimental. On DD, lack of Last Stand or CE is going to be much more fatal. With your logic captain with 0 points spent should be 10/10 pick on Cossack, because I've forgot to assign skills after resetting and had monstrous battle afterwards, setting current damage record on the ship at 170k dmg
