Upcoming AA change if anything will make slingshot mandatory, not optional. And in current rework iteration you can't balance planes and AA. If AA is good enough to stop attack run whatsoever, then carriers become absolutely pointless. If AA can't, then REEE will flow. Principle of REEEwork is at least one attack will go through... but if you balance AA to permit only one attack run at best, then serious damage buff is in order, if CV can at best deal 1/3 or 1/4 of their firepower, followed by lengthy time window waiting for replacement.

Well, amount of rockets/bombs you can easily balance with dispersion. After all, window where planes can be to launch their ordnance with real hopes of landing it on target is quite small. Speaking of which, attack wind size toggle could be a thing - small, two plane attack wings for precise attacks or 4, if not 6 planes in wing to brute force your way through with questionable accuracy.

She's first CB with torps and that alone piques at least hint of interest compared to... four large cruisers at this point in game. That and I'm sitting on pile of coal and little worth spending on. But then German CB with fishes, turtleback AND overmatch already looms over the horizon... so... yeah. Though from utility standpoint, I already have Arpeggio fleet to play with and Myokos with Yamamoto's improved EM in Narai are Credits? Missouri. Funboats? Already quite a number of them on dock. Besides... to care about CW shenanigans?

Don't have access to paid section of gamemodels3d, but Ryujo have 20mm arming treshold for her AP bombs and I expect similar value on Haku, as her bombs can citadel Hipper (27mm deck+30mm cit roof) just fine, Minotaurs mid section of 16mm+38mm is also fine target Shokek have hard time with Yamato 200mm cit roof as she have barely enough pen to deal with main deck+citadel -

Only USN HE bombs can't citpen Yamato, so its not exactly an achievement. -

Yoshie also packs 51mm HE pen by default, so she *might* pose some alternative to Henri as Moskvagrad/BB counter, especially as she is about to lose some reload speed. No MBRB for burst, but then 20km fishes for memes, area denial and position disruption. And if Kremlin prove to be mainstay of CW fleet due to 60mm deck, you still can tack IFHE on CB because reasons.

Dragon and well Arpeggio Myokos are carbon copies of regular Myoko minus option to mount camouflages. So they are objectively inferior due to lack of concealment and potential economic bonuses, but they can accept any IJN captain without retraining like premium ship.

That... might work out. Maybe reduction of damage buff would be in order, but as "toggle" between spread out damage and focused. -

Bomb penetration, fuse sensitivity and fuse delay are three different and unrelated things. Whether why WG set fuse sensitivity to such low values to arm on pretty much first encountered plate and then set fuse delay to be as it is... Cynic in me would answer is to protect BB from getting citadels -

Well, if Yoshie would be straight up better, then p2w and power creep would be echoing all day Yoshie can get away without Range mod, something handy on Zao and with Reload mod you close gap in reload department, as Yoshie goes down to 16.3s, value only Kron can compete with. Concealment remains the best among large cruisers, speed is equal to Zao and beaten by Stalingrad, in which you're not going to sneak about with 14.2km detection. Main flaws I can think of are rudder shift time, turning radius and high citadel, otherwise it seems solid with 20km memes on board.

Basically get T10 ship of choice, slap Zulu flag on her to emulate premium paint, in after battle report replace 180k maintenance bill with 45k one (T10 premiums have halved repair cost which is further halved from premium paint, which also gives 20% credits extra) and do mathworks yourself to see how much you would gain

If flak would be source of "panic", then evading it would be viable as usual. Also with much less lethal AA dps, getting entire squadron to drop their payload could be a thing with maybe last attack wing being incomplete. Flak still follows returning planes. Coupled with their predictable flight pattern, its pretty much primary source of casualties on their way home. Flak roughing up planes with dps picking them off one by one if anything can increase losses.
