    So, I've had pretty decent battle in Yoshie. Results aside, what I've noticed is her ammo cost 122745/501=245 per piece. And then wiki states 215/piece https://wiki.wargaming.net/en/Ship:List_of_Gun_Ammo_Costs Which makes her the most expensive CB to pew pew with, as Stalingrad have 225 ammo cost, Kron 150 and Alaska 125

    Solid CL, have the range so doesn't feel extraordinarily helpless when uptiered, also 12km radar gives some reach to spot lolibotes. Basically get Shchors, unify rear turret firing arcs at solid 30 degrees off axis, improve camo to 10.4km or so (assuming full concealment build), but trade 2 knots of top speed while being just as clumsy.

    -unique ship camouflages, both patterns as well 3d remodels -custom color palette for camouflages, so players can set their own colors -custom color main gun/secondary tracers -custom color badges/insignia -display your badge/insignia on your ship (on the bow?) -alternate horns -firework/flare effects when obtaining achievements -instead mentioned "new currency", turn NTC into reliable source of coal and SMALL amount of steel -new ships as NTC reward (event/reward ship - can accept any commander, no economy bonuses), even if "clones" of existing ones. For example: Indianapolis - Portland, Fuso - Yamashiro, Hipper - Blucher et al -new ports NTC related -colored or otherwise highlighted player name in team roster for completing NTC Instead giving up tech tree, personal missions or campaigns could be used with tasks requiring specific ship. Also add challenges for the ship akin to Marks of Excellence in World of Tanks - keep average exp/damage on specific level for specified amount of battles to pass the task. So far we have only class specific as badges/insignia/coat of arms

    Which applies to pretty much every ship in game. Though HIV can take alternate approach with double rudder simply because of her overinflated Engine Boost, giving not-so temporary Propulsion mod2 effect as well cranking top speed up to 44kts because why not. And you don't need 305mm guns to citadel cruisers, when "regular" 203mm is more than sufficient against cruiser citadel plating at most combat ranges
  14. Dunno, from random three ships I googled off (Iowa, NC and Tirpitz) only Tirpitz have "inaccurate" upper hull plating, 160mm in game compared to some random armor sketch stating 145mm

    Prop modded Yoshie have actually decent handling, for an iceberg that is Same with Camrade Moskva. And all of them stretch definition of cruiser with guns bigger than 8" I wonder if 1.3km surface detection is worth trading for SGM3, its not like you want to be at close to mid ranges with her anyway.

    Have you tried to handle one? Because sure as hell it doesn't handle like a cruiser, unless you tack double rudder on it and have Engine Boost active.

    With Prop Mod you can juke shots by bouncing forward/backward. Same with Henri IV, or any other ship with Engine Boost. Also acceleration when going half speed to full speed increases.

    Propulsion mod 2 works just fine for BBs, especially engine output spike it delivers when accelerating from standstill. Same with cruisers. And DDs.

    On BB you would want DamaCon mod2 for fire/flood reduction. Steering mod is less effective than it looks like, simply because "rudder shift time" stated in port is time needed from maximum to maximum position, not from neutral to maximum. Thus, its actual improvement is less than port stats would imply. For maneuverability you would be better of with Propulsion on pretty much anything with possible exception being cruisers and BBs with Engine Boost, which acts as temporary Prop mod2. Thus you can stack rudder shift upgrades on FR cruisers for some open water shenanigans.
  23. Those usually come with penalty, usually having to give up Concealment upgrade... Speaking of which, NTC'd ships could have tradeoff approach. Heck, it could be introduced as "customizing" menu, where players can fiddle with their ship stats, so every NTC ship would be unique. For example: Yamato: subtract 10 points from "main gun reload", which would induce 10% reload penalty, which gives 10 points to be spent elsewhere add 7 points to main gun dispersion, which would improve dispersion by 7% add 3 point to ship hp, increasing ship hp by 3% Or for some extra memes, Grosse Wurst: substract 20 points from hp, removing 20% hp substract 10 points from main gun reload, lowering main gun reload by 10% substract 10 points from rudder shift time, increasing rudder shift time by 10% add 40 points to secondary battery range (and reload?), increasing them by 40% Combined with existing skills and upgrades it would give Kurfurst 16.3km secondaries. On the whole some weigh system should be in place as I imagine everyone would trade bit of hp, reload and maneuverability to crank up dispersion on their BB of choice. Or concealment on their DD for that matter. @Crysantos possible solution to whole NTC shipstorm while preserving original intent, sort of.
  24. Considering quote from RU topic about NTC, its not about "end game" its about monetizing the Jesus out of the game. Regrind line or buy whale pack of doubloons, convert and have new and shiny T10+ of choice.
  25. When dev team have their own "vision" and are stuck with it, whether on their own or under higher up pressure because financial reports doesn't look good, it doesn't matter how much "feedback" is comes from Community team.
