You see Ivan, you can't lose when you set defeat as victory condition

Ships you can't see you can't get lock on, which gives considerable (100%?) dispersion bonus... thus your idea is in game... since beta, if not earlier

inb4 he/she/apache gets "Quality shipposter" title

Not available on purpose so CV players have to pick, defense or offense. Sound idea, but defeats the purpose of matchmaking pushing players into getting next, bigger badder ship thus its automatically a nope.avi. Also firepower changes on which player have no impact upon, which is kinda questionable. You wouldn't want two of 9 guns on your Iowa stop firing because "its just a Myoko" That and there is both CV and Suggestion topic, you can post ideas there so they will be ignored there instead here

Nah, blaming AA/MM/tiers/moon phases/cat shat into my boots is easier

WT Cruisers already fight on too cramped maps. And adding bigger maps isn't a solution either, quick tour with 20kts dreadnought on current hightier WoWs maps is quick reminder how fun that would be... not

Czyjawiem...

Only mid and small caliber actually "follow" planes, at least you can notice them rotating when they have something to pew pew at. And secondaries visually track ships they are firing at. One thing that follows, when playing as DD with DP guns you might want to disable AA with "P" key, otherwise whenever planes wander within their range and they start firing, you will get automatically spotted.

She is... at least should be. I brought Taco into training room and first thing I've noticed were just slightly improved shell flight times compared to Mogami earlier... then I've noticed time to impact tend to change whether aiming forward or to broadside. Brought Mogami CA again... and despite the same "bow on" to remove aiming location variable, they still differ Takao Mogami CA I think I've figured it out: Mogami uses turrets with different name than ones on Takao/Atago, which happens to be the same as on Ibuki. And her shell flight times is close to Taco And Myoko thrown in because reasons. With the same shell flight times as Tako and iBucky... so Mogami 203 seems to be off

what's a good and solid tech tree line to go for?
Panocek replied to Olmlet's topic in Newcomers' Section
Very broad question. If you're tired of high concealment ships and overall campiness, French cruisers I can recommend. Mid tiers are okay-ish, but they start to shine from tier 8 onwards - they have access to Engine Boost with rather meaty +20% speed bonus, combine that with double rudder upgrades instead usual Concealment and you end up with hard to hit long range open water jackass of a HE spammer, while Main Battery Reload Booster gives them welcome burst damage increase to apply some citadels on broadside cruisers or add some extra fires on ship that just used his DCP. British DDs I find average at best with exception of Lightning, that ship is a keeper. Light cruisers are solid, but they start to not-suck from Leander onwards, with Fiji being one of the best T7 cruisers in game. Neptune and Minotaur are embodiments of high risk-high reward. Lots of gunpower, but equally high chances of evaporating due to very high citadel. Both American cruiser lines are decent, though Seattle is disappointing so be warned. US Destroyers are also very solid, pretty much built into cap contesters with quick firing and quick traversing turrets, from tier 7 onwards they gain ability to stealth torp, while Fletcher is class on her own in terms of versatility. -
Yamato is pretty good plane farmer on her own, 1k close range dps is of balans when it comes to collecting ribbons from returning planes.
-
Granted, one does not simply lob 500 shells out of battlecruiser on daily basis

Because I have 203 in stock and installed it for the lols, also if I'd brought Takao as T8 IJN CA example then some might get offended by weeb colors as well inability to test numbers themselves because she's quite rare at this point.
-
T8 CV can have some success, but that involve being basically afk for first half of the game, flying around and hoping green team is actually capable of firing at spotted red ones and harassing singled out targets of opportunity. Which will net plane casualties anyway. Which isn't helped by the fact @Padds01 is playing THE worst CV line in game which on top of that got hit the hardest by AA change in 0.8.5 and gained the least from 0.8.5.1 hotfix

It gets better... when in blue moon you get tier 6 to club. Rest of the time you're clubbed by tier 10. Carriers now are "go T10* or go home", unless you can cheat/lie/hax/beg/blowjob your way through MM to be top tier most of the time *Or buy Enterprise

Considering WoWp bots are pretty good and even react to "I need help" and whatnot, I wonder if WG bots wouldn't be better pick to raise quality of randoms...

At least this cartoon have S tier tatonkas. S as in "spinebreaker" tier And then there is Taiho... -
Guess which is which Shell flight times of T8 I have Chapa (RU 152): Mogami (IJN 155): Mogami (IJN 203): Baltimore (USN 203): Cleveland (USN 152): With exception of Cleveland, they are all pretty close to each other
-
There is always risk of someone else aligning the stars being awake, having guns loaded and facing general direction That and RU 152mm aren't as railgun as people claim them to be, they just match US/IJN 203mm in ballistics. And they can lob shells over islands just fine
