This is part where you unzip wallet -
Don't play Khaba, go back to Tashkent for extra range or Grozovoi for at least some AA and more range anyway And "CV meta" is gone, as carrier playerbase already hit pre rework values, so you have to be quite unlucky to bump into one or stop teaming up with CV.

The moment subs can hit 35kts submerged you can put IJN DDs in recycle bin... in case you haven't done so already.

Then, Atlanta doesn't even need IFHE to melt T7 and below cruisers, same with Henri vs Republique or Conqueror for that matter. Scaling HE damage based on encountered plating thickness akin to WoT would be one solution, that or IFHE skill would reduce HE shell damage AND fire chance by (random guess) 30% -

Lex bombs actually care about Yamasushi, Izumo, Soyuz and Kremin, as they have thicker deck than Lex bomb pen. You need TiTs to smack these baBBies -
Torpedo reloads on ships were rarity indeed and mostly IJN DDs and cruisers had them. And amount of shells per gun for "small" calibers is comparable to that of a Minotaur, if not more - ubiquitous 5"/38 used as secondary guns on US cruisers and BBs had 500 shells per gun, 350-400 for destroyers. Wooster had 400/gun as well. Heavy cruisers had around 150/gun, battleships around 100/gun Lowest ammo count for DDs I can find is on Russian destroyers, with Gnevny class having as little as 100/gun. But then, early guns on these had difficulty lasting longer than that, so every time Project 7 destroyer would return for resupply, it would also have its barrels replaced

The best part is, amount of planes on CV+recovery is already comparable or less than RTS carriers used to have introducing ammo limit for guns would be the most pointless feature ever, as you would be VERY hard pressed to expend it all in 20min timespan and even then you would fail most of the times.
