Keep in mind IFHE is scheduled to have rework at some point in future. And given recent Wargaming stunt with rework of "Manual AA" skill and no point refund/free respec UNLESS you manually signed for it... with button to do so hidden well into patch changelog -

Personally I run PT-AR-BFT-AFT-CE-IFHE captain. Demo is all fine and good, but the moment fires are on, you can't get more of them in the same spot. On other hand, straight up reload buff works anytime, anywhere -

So is Gearing, as they use exactly the same torps. And then Gearing can beat the out of pretty much any DD in a brawl with her guns, unlike Somers - 8gun salvo can be nice... 6s reload not so much.

Squadron size: 12+12 in reserve damage per torp: 9333, 18666 potential per run Midway have higher theoretical damage output per run at 6*4233=25398, but in practice landing all 6 torps is VERY rare. And then there is non existant flood chance, while Haku have no issues landing double torp hits on cruisers and occasional DD even.

I wouldn't set hopes too high, as WG, or Sub_Octavian to be precise confirmed in recent Q&A any Operations works are shelved until "more pressing matters are resolved". And obviously, updating old content doesn't bring as much money as designing new, convoluted loot box event

When broadside, then shell glanced off the deck, turret or barbettes. If shattered, as in stopped by armor... thats bigger mystery Keep in mind "torpedo protection hit" for AP means shell passed through torpedo belt, but either ricochet or failed to penetrate armor behind it. -
Tashkent doesn't have armor. But unlike Kebab, doesn't eat BB AP pens.

Considering how many times premium ships were changed under "global change" umbrella, either direct nerf to Enty or buffing other carriers to be in line with Enterprise, then "global change with negative effect" wouldn't really matter.
