From my own WT Air AB experience, Russians are favored simply by objectives being next to the ground, where lack of high alt performance doesn't bother them. Also they are first nation to get cannons IIRC instead machine guns. And have generalist, do it all handing except high speed maneuvers, which you won't have many opportunities to pull off at mid to low alt And then there is beauty of La-7, which outclimbs most planes to 4km-5km and below 4km outruns like everyone short of diving Thunderbolt/Mustang. But the moment they exit their dive, La will catch up to them.

I've just noticed another glorious Wargaming quality control and since this the is closest to "German" topic... Sounds fine, right? Except Konig and Bayern with top hulls get these 105mm as well... and they have 25mm HE pen. Funnily enough, stock Gneisenau with 105mm doesn't have improved HE

kinda ancient when it comes to captain skills, but gameplay didn't changed. If anything, it improved due to getting "refit" with three twin turrets instead six singles as well multitude of buffs along the way. Also worth checking out other "how to", even if for the memes. Tirpitz is kinda outdated, Massa needs dedicated captain to make her shine. For "general purpose" US premium BB, you might be better served with Alabama. -
Keep in mind long range torps have longer "time window" for target to maneuver out of harms way, even by accident due to sheer distance they have to cover at not that high speeds. Also infamous Shimakaze 20km torps (also present on Yoshino CB) torps got so nerfhammered its actually hilarious to land hits with them due to relatively slow speed AND massive torpedo detection distance. To maximize torpedo hit rate you usually need to operate at edge of detection, where you put yourself in harms way should you get spotted. And you will get spotted at high tiers due to Radar consumable. While cruisers almost universally have "more dakka", they also have citadel, which can send you back to port at supersonic velocity. Feature DDs don't have. Also with cruiser concealment you don't do the stalking, you're stalked by destroyers.

Which always be the case when you have concealment disadvantage Though if going with "teamwork", Croissant + IJN DD spotting stuff ahead is going to give substantial headache. Still we're talking about relatively small section of a ship, at distances you'd be somewhat safe from T10 cruiser, of which only USN don't have "railguns" to return the favor, scoring hits on "ship" would be an decent result to start with For long range gunnery it might be enough. But any <10km brawls and you might find turret traverse lacking. Mogador have abysmal firing arcs on 4th turret, so most of the time you'd use 3/4 your firepower. Only Kleber gets good, and I mean GOOD firing arcs, 24 degrees off axis.

Daring doesn't have 16km range with excellent ballistics, while she had her concealment brutalized prior launch, as she now sits at 6.0km, compared to "gold standard" Shima and Gearing. She is also THE slowest DD at tier 10, putting her existence into question, especially with Gearing around - similar gunnery without need for IFHE, way better torps of two flavors, faster, tad better concealment and can pretend to have AA. Haru will be eventually touched by IFHE nerf, also keep in mind she still eats AP BB pens. It kinda depends on situation - 1v1, if Daring instasmokes, you don't use MBRB and simply wait his smoke out, you can also throw some fishes his way for warm up. Wait at +-5km, well within his detection range. The moment he opens fire without smoke, you start kiting HARD and blast him with MBRB - Daring guns lose on velocity faster than Croissant 139mm. With Harugumo its kinda similar story, except Haru don't have hydro nor handling to evade torps from smoke unless he immediately GTFO, presumably exposing himself. Still, you don't want to push without DD in front of you anyway unless late game and you know what to expect ahead. IFHE on DD can be of use on tier 7-8 DD, as you have the largest amount of ships you can dent with. At tier 10, where almost every cruiser have 30mm amidship or more, IFHE won't help you, while you're losing on fire chance against hightier BBs anyway. Fanta without EM is "bearable", but on Mogador onwards, when running MBM3, you will need it. Also at shorter ranges, when ships were moving in opposite directions AND doing hard turns, I had cases of turrets breaking off target, including Fanta+EM EM also reduces time you spend waiting when switching broadsides.

There is nothing to apologize for, because spreadshiet says CV REEEwork is of success and WG made plenty of monies from releasing frozen in game assets in shape of premium carriers And second part is what matters to WG in the end.

You don't counter CV, CV counters you. Whatever you can throw at your ship to improve AA, it will not stop planes unless CV guy simply misplays and eat flak. But in such case even average AA will do the job.

Kleber may lack sustained dpm of a Khaba, but she has range, plenty of it. MBRB lets her demolish any other DD you bump into. For solo carry in randoms... well... yes... no. You don't carry unless enemy misplays badly and either enemy DDs throw themselves at you or red team completely ignores angry croissant molesting their lolibotes. Which is exactly the same story as with Russian "DDs". Except without "oh " buttons.

"no premiums past tier 8" was more of a WoT thing and so far they seems to hold that rule* *There are "reward" tanks you can't buy directly just like there are "coal" ships you can't buy directly. Both don't have increased credit coefficients unlike "purchasable" premiums
