I've got metric jesuston of both bunnies from 3-2 when looking for Helldivers and single 5" as secondary *something* for cruisers And initial impression of them post refit - they do not fluff around, though their new skill is bit RNGery, throwing squadron of random size every 20s. And given they are my highest leveled IJN carrier pair alongside cranes at 98lvl, I might actually focus on them. Survivability is somewhat lacking tho. refit art is also very noice. -
Why WoWS creates toxic players and fix
Panocek replied to G01ngToxicCommand0's topic in General Discussion
If WG uses spreadshiet to do balans, why players wouldn't do the same? -
But she eats torps instead with her clumsiness and lack of acceleration, even with Propulsion mod.
-
No matter how you try to paint it, Gearing is no way more graceful to handle than Fletcher
-
Or, you know, DDs are getting increasingly obese while keeping roughly the same boilers and turbines for cost saving measures, while battleships get top notch equipment.
-
Except there are no "standard IJN shell arcs". If you mean Mogami/155, then tough luck, as she uses entirely different gun and ammunition (same guns as Kongo and Fuso 152mm secondaries). Besides, IJN 203 have identical ballistics to USN 203 except Zao, where this "IJN railgun" comes from

I see you're yet to bump into Georgia, 33kts BB with French Engine Boost, which not even French BB have access to, combined with Sierra Mike signal she goes 41kts

Precisely why I don't like torps as "main weapon" they entirely rely on enemy being dummy than you being good. Of course, you can launch torps where enemy might be instead relying on lead indicator, but should enemy not play into your estimations and simply sail straight, then no torpedo hits for you And again, what matters is %hp damage done, so sinking two battleships on your own or sinking two destroyers should net the same amount of exp regardless of damage numbers. And then, removing latter two cripples enemy team ability to cap, to spot and cause a commotion with torps Given you're at Fushun already, deepwater torps you spot literally 3 seconds before impact, so if anything, enemy players simply preemptively change course when DD is around. Something you can tell by being spotted all the time Also if they run Priority Target, the moment you switch from guns to torps and then back to guns is tell tale of torps incoming.

What Tier and Nation are the Subs branching from?
Panocek replied to Sir_Sinksalot's topic in General Discussion
Nah, WG will plug holes in CV branch with subs for extra wtf -
On other hand, amazing amount of assets can return to the game as premium content
-
Maybe you should ask for refund, because mine have 155mm guns
-
How many "Premium" ships have you received through "Super Containers" / "Special Containers" ?
Panocek replied to Leo_Apollo11's topic in General Discussion
Single two ships, Warspite and Haida From paid chrismas crates, that would be Gallant, Monaghan, Krasny, Nikolai and De Grasse -
There is no "good average damage" value. You can deal 40k damage to destroyers, tipping the game in your favor and scoring top spot in terms of exp, or you can spend entire battle farming single battleship with little to no game impact, but have "unicum" 150k damage on defeat

Implement option to switch between Main Armaments and Secondary
Panocek replied to VanD4rk's topic in General Discussion
Game that is also broken in terms of balance beyond repair and devolved into cycle of powercreep, where either you play flavor of the month or you're farmed by flavor of the month. Also there are no battleships there... yet, so you can't compare few spudguns on a cruiser to proper secondary battery. -
I believe Yamato and such should *stop* ricocheting at distances of 30km+ though...

She is shoehorned into long range spamming and any attempts to, well, teamplay usually ends with you going back to port at supersonic speed. Besides meme 20km torps or borderline yolo 12km ones, there isn't a thing Yoshino can do that Alaska or Stalingrab can't. Heck, she is the ship I seriously consider putting range upgrade because 21km isn't enough for her at times. Especially as everyone takes pot shots at you because how easy to cit she is or at least to score decent pen damage with overmatching guns. -
I think purpose of permanent spotting and AA unable to fend off on your own is to simply curb those pesky uniscums, flanking, stealth torping, abusing islands and doing all kinds of nasty stuff to Main Audience in battleships
-
Well, it gives you more dakka noises and red damage font, giving you impression of doing something

Discussion thread for "some interesting info around the world"
Panocek replied to Deamon93's topic in General Discussion
Convoy moves at about 15kts, as long as you don't take wonky detours or make up other excuses, 20kts dreadnought in Narai is more than workable, while range isn't an issue as map is so small. -
Nope, you simply have less time to aim, something you can counteract by starting attack run earlier. And tapping W lets you not burn as much boost when moving across the map

One does not simply have gud nippon bote -
This is why you tap W key instead holding it when floating through space and time

Narai. -
Flint ie HE spammer from smoke or from behind islands. Which, unlike Atlanta class, can reliably hit stuff at most ranges and then you can crank up her range up to 19km with range upgrade and AFT if you're short on memes.
-
Only thing she might have in common with Smolensk are HE shells.
