You must be new to WoWs in 2019 Well, plane hp gains are about 10%, for example torpedo bonkers go up from 2080hp on Lexi to 2290hp on Midway, SE included. Speed gain of 15kts is more substantial with Improved Engines and FCM2.

You play other ships until you stockpile enough Free Exp and credits to get Midway into shape. She's no Hakuryu to get away with stock planes. Also with 0.8.7 T10 CVs were actually nerfed in terms of plane hp, while T8 got buffs "to flatten out plane progression". Or something like that

On other hand, if this spotting change would make it to live randoms, I guess WG could replace asinine CAP with spotter plane, which would give actual spotting.

Or 900 damage because you've landed hit on saturated section AP is perfectly capable of breaking modules as well, both engine, rudder, gun and torpedo. Then there is case of rare, but still present multiple overpen/pen bug. Did I mention two DDs still eat full AP pens?

Don't really care, none of the ships are of particular interest to me. -
Also I'd like to point out AP overpen deals only slightly less damage than HE "pen", unless we're talking about Brit BBs. AP shell also can't be soaked by turret/torpedo/AA with 0dmg hit. Overpens also ignore damage saturation, unlike HE. There is no point of loading HE against DDs unless you're in Brit BB, but then, with these you have HE loaded anyway and switch to AP only when you have meaty broadside available.

Wouldn't be simpler to release premium CVs back into the store, without putting game upside down, repeatedly? All of them were more or less playable IIRC. Only new addition is Ark Royal, Indomitable is eternally shelved by the looks of it.

While Haida have absolut balans 5.7km concealment at tier 7 with decent gunnery, I have her sister ship Cossack with even more balans on board. Also she kinda needs EM to help with turret traverse.

Well, if we assume one of the hidden REEEwork goals was to nerf "smart play" in DDs and cruisers, then rockets and AP bombs make perfect sense, combined with inadequate AA of single ship.

Nerfing torp damage to not be as lethal against cruisers will make them hilariously ineffective against BB Nerfing overpen damage to, lets say 5% could be a thing. But I dare you to pull off that in World of Battleships. Every "global game change" WG ever made was net positive for battleships or they were least affected. Any direct BB nerf is a no go Radar gives cruisers option to spot DDs on their own. Which is kinda fair, until you combine it with "speschul" WG map design, with strategically placed islands, where you can have absolute derptard to park his radar cruiser, do nothing but also covering two caps with radar. And issue becomes even bigger when you have multiple radar cruisers.

"DD counters battleships" - torps can brutalize cruisers just fine. "BB counter cruisers" - AP overpens alone are enough to make big oof on destroyers. And are actually preferred to HE, as HE have nasty habit of being soaked by main guns/torpedo launchers for 0dmg. "cruiser counter DDs" - if you find the bloody thing to start with.

Do Elited ship speed up commander training?

Only thing "elite" status gives is ability to use gathered experience on said ship for Free Exp conversion with doubloons. You can put all the +exp bonuses on your brand new ship and you will gather both ship exp, Free Exp as well commander exp faster. Which is usually advised to shorten stock grind as well to retrain captain ASAP for the ship, especially critical on DDs due to Last Stand not working during retraining. -

Changes sound good, can't test them myself because invitation is 404 not found Don't like idea of not having variable depth akin to Terror of the Deep and adding arbitrary consumable to act as one. In return, depth charges could have two/three depth settings, which you could toggle just like one toggles between narrow and wide torpedo spread. Lets say, three depth settings of 30m, 60m and 90m. If you guess depth correctly, charges would inflict massive damage, maybe on par with first test iteration (based on available footage). If you mismatch, then either charges would cause superficial damage akin to overpens, while massively missing the mark (30m setting against sub at 80m) would do no damage whatsoever. -

Replace EM with AR, as Cleve have more than comfortable turret traverse. Also I'd take Propulsion mod 2 to speed up acceleration.
