Stock Furrytaco have 22s reload, which is like 2.8 shell/min, giving not exactly handsome 16.8 shells/min and I was referring to that in @Allied_Winter post.

I'd argue tier 6 and 7 French cruisers even with engine boost barely keep up with glorious Russian kreuzers. They get "speed" on tier 5 and from tier 8 onwards.

No. You gain exp and credits mostly on %hp, thus attacking destroyers or other targets you know you can quickly and reliably shave off significant amount of hp will bring most rewards per effort needed. Spending entire battle molesting single isolated battleship and in the end failing to kill it may yield nice damage numbers, but no so much exp nor team contribution to victory

Freemium ships, as in premiums for coal or Free Exp are more of a "long term goal" for players. Also with premium ship purchases wait a bit, as WG not so long ago announced another batch of "black" ships for Black Friday sale, those last year were available with 30% discount compared to "regular" premiums Sims, Scharnhorst and Alaska are solid picks, Graf Zepp... Not so much I'm afraid Permanent camouflages are unfortunately vanity items below tier 9, while "substantial" economy boosts they have only at tier 10.

Most games with "healer" role also kinda require coordinated bunch, preferably with VoIP of some sort. In your usual random game, "healer/support" usually is first to be REEEd at "y u no heal me 24/7"

If you consistently get defeats then yea. This is part where USN versatility bites them back in the arse. Even more so with Ranger and only three bombs per run.

I find CVs to viable in all scenarios, though Ryujo remains the best pick due to torps and AP bombs, both best for dispatching ships as quickly as possible.
