Except Yamato have 76mm HE pen, enough to cit Smolensk on direct HE hit. IFHE would have no impact either, as tier 8+ BBs have no plating you could dent with DD gun+IFHE. If anything, it could, in theory, reduce fire chance. In practice, with such volume of fire nerf would be barely noticeable. -

Ballistics aren't great on Konig/Nurnberg either. And they are still better than Cleveland. "German bounce angles" are identical to 95% of the ships in game, so I guess 95% of the content is "literally unplayable" to you? -

Mainz have built in IFHE+ of German variety, so no need for dedicated captain and these 15cm pen 37mm plating, so NC and Alaska decks. Also I can already see salt when "mere CL" lands 10k AP salvos -
"penetration damage", be it from HE, AP, SAP or holy moses is 50% recoverable unless ship in question have improved % recovery like Brit BBs

5.8s. And that value is from maximum to maximum, so from neutral, position rudder would be like 80% of the time its 2.9s compared to 1.85s. And then you have actual rudder turn radius, which is noticeably in Błyskawica favor.

At tier 7 only Russian DDs have better ballistics and Błyska maneuverability is arguably better than Russian counterparts

Whole AA effectiveness boils down to skill check in terms of flak evasion. Even blob of high AA dps is highly unlikely to stop air strike dead in its tracks, which is seemingly core principle of REEEwork - CV will always get at least one strike through. Closest to that was 0.8.6 patch, where high AA dps coupled with single plane focus was able to butcher squadron even before drop.

This is part where you go and ask S_O or someone else from WG, while fending off posts of players losing planes to Shimakaze and other such "AA powerhouses" Whole RPS got defeated on day one: cruisers counter destroyers: provided you find one to start with, which can be an issue as destroyers almost universally are faster than cruisers. Only later Radar consumable was added and to select few ships to help with that. In return, even single torpedo hit on cruiser can be crippling. destroyers counter battleships: assuming you land torps on them, preferably multiple. If RPS would be the case, then battleships would not have such effective torpedo belts, while heal can fully recover flooding and partially bow/stern hits. if you're stuck with guns, it will take a LONG time to burn down BB. battleships counter cruisers: check, overmatch, crippling citadel and no heal to recover on cruisers until tier 9+. On other hand, one of the two starting cruiser lines had and still have massive torpedo payload, so assuming they find their mark, "cruiser can counter BB" just fine.

Last time I've checked cruiser can't exactly nuke BB with HE unless it somehow trigger detonation. DDs aware of purpose of rudder can prove rather tricky target unless RNGesus says "da" for your bomb dispersion

This is example of glorious rashian logik camrade. Destroyers with their puny 130mm guns are prohibited from Range upgrade, but cruiser carrying mighty 130mm can mount said upgrade and double stack it with AFT And given 130mm/57 ballistics aren't far off from Russian 152mm, Smol have manageable time to impact even at such interesting ranges.

First impression after one battle in Trento: she's okay. Long range, high top speed and good turning radius gives her some potential for open water shenanigans, though gun ballistics are tad worse than IJN/USN heavy caliber guns. SAP seems to work as long as target is not perfect bow on and tend to hit rather hard. AP seems similar to IJN, as in it works but isn't exactly highlight of the ship. Also Type 2 (dispersion buff only) camo seems to be bugged... except I want it to stay as is It looks actually good. -

Given Musashi, Missouri and Kronshtadt weren't nerfed, simply removed from purchase... I'd hurry up on securing extra balans for yourself. Because WG lost interest in having fun and balanced game quite long time ago. One way of "nerfing" her would be increasing citadel plating to 100mm or so, thus she would consistently arm AP fuses. Doubt it would fix issue of shell overpens due to being narrow tho.

Countering caps definitely, hightier DDs are rather clumsy so I guess you should be able to torp them with decent results. Rockets on BBs can be considered an option when they are intact, as superstructure saturates quickly and is usually first target to shoot at.
