    Rockets: Indy:2473*6=14838 (fully buffed by the looks of it) Kaga:1530*8=12240 Congrats, Indomitable rockets have bit more hp than Kaga rockets, widely accepted as afterthought. Fun fact: if you throw in Rockets hp upgrade, then Kaga have more hp per squadron, defeating that sole "victory" for Indy. Meanwhile on other squadrons: Indy build Kaga build DB: 2790*4=11160 1780*12=21360 TB: *cue the crickets* 1920*12=23040 With Kaga DB being considerably more reliable in damage department both due to accuracy of the drop and HE penetration of the projectile than carpet bombing with firecrackers Tea style

    Yep. Because two planes in reserve extra totally fix issue of having half hp per squadron compared to Kaga

    IIRC back then Idomi had -tier 10 bombs with 40mm pen -6 bombers in DB squad -no parachutes on bombs Also back then AA fired randomly at planes which extended squadron "lifetime", nowadays, it simply means Indomitable the THE least hp per squadron and due to long replacement times, every loss counts. And unlike Saipan, she can't hit hard

    And this is something you might want, as 113mm by default don't have 19mm pen, so only thing you might actually hurt would be yoloing Neptune or Minotaur But then, there might be not enough vodka to consider brawling with a ship having 8gun secondary broadside at best and with slow-ish reload

    Beauty of binary game mechanics (work/doesn't work) is unless you can hit relevant armor thresholds of penetration, it doesn't matter if your shells have 55mm or 80mm pen at 10km when you see broadside cruiser in front of you, made out of 25mm and 100mm platings You're going to perforate the former (unless ricochet or effective armor due to angle is higher) and you're not going to punch through the latter. https://wowsft.com/arty you can see pen plots yourself.     Again, penetration on all DD guns except hightier french 139mm is inadequate to reliably threaten cruiser 100mm citadel plating past 8km. And from all 127-128mm guns, German one on Z-46/52 have actually the highest penetration.

    I kinda agree German derpstroyers are in uninspiring position, but IMO they kind of have to, due to having Hydroacoustic search, which makes them remarkably cancerous to play against. All these guns have identical ricochet angles and all these guns have more than enough penetration to punch holes in "nothing" part of "all-or-nothing". If anything, Brit 113mm could see AP pen buff, these guns can be actually stopped by angled 32mm plating past 10km.

    I recall being able to launch the game on integrated graphics, but details to the lowest and you might need lower resolution even to have comfortable fps. Getting proper graphic card, even 1050 or rx480/580 will go a long way improving game experience though

    Glorious stalinium shells aren't quite balans (yet), as Republique 430mm peashooters still have more pen than them while Yamato have more pen <11km on wowsft at least Besides, upgrade doesn't prevent main gun destruction, as I had cases of turret disable on first hit anyway. And then, Yamato can be considered "safe" when it comes to frontal turret protection... so go for the turrets always was viable trick when dealing with bow on baBBies

    This is beauty of rework, if you prevent class shoehorned strictly into damage farming from actually doing damage, they become useless. And then 0.8.5 and 0.8.6 patch, where you could call carriers kinda "balanced"... And their playerbase went almost extinct
  21. Conq can't take hits. Can recover lots of hp, but that requires time, which usually means downtime between shots to avoid detection or humping island. On top of that raised citadel makes her extraordinarily vulnerable when you decide to close the distance and someone gets a glimpse of your broadside. Or just Yamato takes look at you AP pen is irrelevant if you keep ricocheting. And then at usual combat distances of 12km and more, no BB shell can brute force its way through 400mm worth of main belt when angled at 30-40 degrees
  22. Actually, AL could expand on rashian ships, they had few that would fit into the game. Kirov/Voroshilov (rare cruiser) Molotov/Maxim Gorky (elite cruiser) Gnevny class destroyers as elite Tashkent as SR destroyer (with MGM+1?) And then, surprisingly, AL run out of tier 8-9 WoWs ships to add as PR material (at least without powercreeping existing ones) - USN have only Buffalo left, UK, Japan, France, Germany done. That leaves pasta and vodka fleets. From russians I can see Kronshtadt and Soyuz, as both were at least laid down. But as PR ships or event marathon? Besides, that camo isn't for the russian ships, but is of russian nationality. Just like SB2C is "american" doesn't mean Akagi can't yandere her way through with it.
