You probably will have two camouflages, blue one that comes with the ship and additional red one. And technically third, "normal Atago" one should you disable Arpeggio filter in port @MrConway can you confirm Takao will come in two colors for new buyers?

Additionally, WG inflated Takao price with red skin compared to simple Atago. So if you're buying that for skin alone, you're spending +-17€ if I can into math for taco skin. - +-44€ for ship, doubloons you get for already having the ship are worth around 27€. Finely crafted offers to make sure players don't get actually a decent deals

So, WG pushed Takao with "red" skin with wrong turrets and they are on advertising poster. Thus, someone who bought Takao solely for her wrong turrets might actually ask for refund when/if red skin is actually fixed @MrConway you guys love painting yourselves into corner, don't you

Interestingly it only happens with russian battleships Whole interaction between stock and top planes could be looked at - top British aircraft in particular are questionable to use, trading recovery time for insignificant amount of hp and speed. Any payload improvements come with dispersion increase, making effective amount of hits unchanged unless repeated RNGesus blessing was in effect. Going with "alternate" loadouts/squadron composition instead "stock" and "top" could be a solution.

That happens when WG is too lazy to fix rendering delay and extends detecting delay to match rendering one Ohh good ol times when ship(s) were immediately spotted on minimap and you were waiting up to 5s waiting for them to materialize AA tracers are rendered only when ship in question is spotted and 3d rendered. Exception being "smoke tracers" with randomized source to make less easy aiming from above at smoked ships If smoke before you're spotted is not an option, then my guess would be turn towards planes to give shortest aiming time window possible, ideally with well timed turn it might save your bacon for second pass. And once in smoke or planes detected you anyway, you're free to engage with AA -
Why WG should add tier 11, when they can sell you tier 11 upgrades to existing tier 10 ships via RB?

Have no need of FXP either, be it for Freemium ships nor skipping lines. And then, if you can't skip a line or two with 1.6m fxp, you might do something wrong. Even more so with last two/three years of WG throwing midtiers at everyone

WoWs in terms of game mechanics is shallow as a puddle, any new ship after initial duo/trio is going to be either questionable or will outright powercreep older ships. Perfect example, initial IJN/USN/RU destroyer lines fulfill all "archetypes" of destroyers viable in this game - torpedoboat, cap contester and long range jackass. Any new addition either powercreeps or questions its own existence. Who would use Daring over Gearing, if former wouldn't have heal, even more wicked gun dpm, lolhandling, hydro and "meta convenient" smokes. Why use Le Fanta for long range shelling, when Kiev gets the job done better AND have heal/smoke as "oh " button. The same Fanta is also hilariously put into question as cap contester with her bad concealment and outright bad gun dpm, saved only by equally broken consumable if you actually get to "firing" part of the engagement. On opposite, said Fanta powercreeps Kagero as torpedoboat, as she can get into and then out of position for torping stuff with her railgun fishes.

Given absolutely atrocious player quality on high tiers, I'd say the only limiting factor for "sweet spot" is economy. As free2play you're probably aiming at tier 6-7 to manage credits with occasional ventures on higher tiers. If you're willing to throw wallet at the screen (preferably repeatedly), then there is no reason to play anything but tier 10 unless you like Operations or handicapping challenging yourself
