    Only relevant part of DFAA is +300% flak dmg increase. Which have inherent flaw or requiring one to fly into that Maybe if you were to stack multiple DFAA enabled "AA cruisers" then combined dps would be actually effective when it comes to preventing air strike.

    Thing is, most skills and upgrades have little actual value to begin with. So its more like "least useless" than "most useful" when it comes to skill/upgrade selection. But for "AA build", I wonder about MAA + AAmod1, as those two combined should give you 7% "ping" every 12s on DDs and cruisers

  5. Improved JoaT makes some sense on Conqueror, as well Minotaur and Daring. Thing is, Dunkirk brothers also have improved JoaT AND Expert Marksman, making them better for Conqueror and BBs in general. Minotaur can afford getting JoaT due to captain build being "done" once you secure CE. Daring could use JoaT as well, but she is already tight on points to spare. Looking as Cunningham skills, I'd say he would fit carriers the most. No use of JoaT there, but improved Air Armor as well talents can help with overall CV play
  6. On scale from 1 to 10, looks balans to me So not only better guns, but also smaller target with supposedly better internal armor layout. Which means even more balans per cubic meter It would be actually relevant... if only battleships had actually exposed citadels

    0.9.1 - Updates to Upgrades

    Khabarovsk was able to use stealth firing very early on, when she also had over 15km range and had rudder you could actually use without feeling the beard growing. Since range nerf to 13km and BB grade rudder, on top of railguns, railguns everywhere, Khaba and her 45ish kts of speed is nowhere close to old performance. Kleber received one nerf and as she is old Khaba incarnate, she WILL receive another. Probably castrating range and maneuverability to bring her in line with Khaba. And in case you haven't noticed, "anti torpedo" upgrade actually helping with torpedoes? Preposterous. To get that "magic torpedo immunity" as you like to portray new upgrade you have to sacrifice "go-to" concealment upgrade to get it and even then, its effectiveness shines against DW torps, with other torps being so-so, while against some it remain completely ineffective. Wargaming doesn't care about your feedback either.

    Błyskawica was balanced and advertised around stealth firing. Said stealth firing removal was global, not introduction of a upgrade that is VERY situational at best. And compared to previous iteration, TASM1, its often a downgrade EXCEPT dealing with deepwater torps. On top of that upgrade loses proximity spotting buff which often was THE reason you'd sacrifice concealment for very specialized purpose like smoke rushing or around the island encounters. If you don't like idea of possible changes down the line, which may or may not be beneficial for your point of view, don't spend on the game. Simple. Guessing spreadshiet indicated flak being bit too effective AND with 0.8.7 WG removed flak from ships without DP guns. So I guess WG decided to fix two things in one go, lowering flak and restoring "AA mod 1" to ships

    Well, they removed torpedo damage reduction, so wasn't "literally unchanged" Upgrade previously was % based, which apparently wasn't effective enough. Also keep in mind upcoming DD line as well recent Frenchsters have 1.8km detection already, so no effect there. And then old IJN torpboat line is actually buffed by change of this upgrade, as usual 1.7km detection goes up to 1.8km instead 2.0km when upgrade previously gave 20% detection increase. Chances of reimbursing Asashio/Pan Asian owners are about the same as Błyskawica buyers when stealth firing was removed. Something something middle something finger something.

    Wasn't something like that used in Steel Ocean or whatever was that WoWs knockoff back in 2016? I mean, permanently spotted torps, so you had all the time in the world to evade them AND you would know where DD is heading based on torp launch

    What happened to AA section? Again we're getting some vague "continuous damage" calculated god knows how and detailed stats only on highlight?
  14. Could one obtain fraction of a "shipbuilding token"? I've got bit over 13mil (13 092 500 to be precise, which divided by 7500 gives 1745.66) and I wonder if its from tokens alone or reimbursement from removed upgrades was mixed into this

    Wargaming also "temporarily" removed 4 operations due to CV REEEwork... Year ago... then admitted they have no manpower nor will to fix old Operations, let alone create new ones So... yeah...

    German BBs due to their armor layout (low citadel and turtleback) can't be devastated at short to medium distances, which you may or may not consider "beginner friendly". For BB lines worth a try... IJN remain gold standard of battleships, having nice blend of traits and weaknesses you can learn to work with. That or Russians. After all, you're playing game developed by Russians, for (Belo)russian publisher and with Russian market being primary, you can't go wrong with anything having hammer and sickle* Also keep in mind playing "accurate" ships might not be magic solution for you, as the more accurate guns are, the bigger chance of landing entire salvo in water when your aim is off. For cruisers, German ones are rather universal, while "promoting" proper ammo selection. HE deals subpar damage, but due to high penetration, its consistent. AP have mediocre penetration and standard ricochet angles, but deals substantial damage when applied correctly, even without landing citadel hits. Having long range from Konigsberg onwards doesn't hurt in increasingly campy environment Randoms turned into. Solid alternatives would be IJN cruisers or mentioned Ruskies, especially as long range gunnery is their forte. French cruisers can be also very fun, but T10, Henri IV got nerfhammered HARD. *except Khabarovsk, that thing is overnerfed

    After almost 9 years of... interacting with WG one might learn how you guys operate. In tanks, planes or boats. And given Bayard is literally test bed of new IFHE concept in premium ship form, I thoroughly doubt dev team will change their IFHE vision and refund Bayard owners, who may or may not have bought her for improved HE pen.
