    You would need to give 400mm decks to everyone to actually stop Haku AP bombs.

    So... Dive bonkers will have 3860+250(SE)*1.075(DB upgrade)*1.075(plane hp upgrade)=4750 hitpoints. On top of that they will be able to restore additional 2375hp over 25s (95/s). Given most DD have less long range AA than that, these planes will be able to casually permaspot DDs on heal when waiting for another attack. At the same time, tier 4 speeds will make this CV extraordinarily boring to play... alternatively very good for alt-tabbing when waiting for squadron to get anywhere.
  5. But once more, its ship without identity. There are better gunboats and better torpboats. And then you have Gearing, which beats Hayate at both, have better concealment to boot and doesn't cost 2mil FXP unless you reset line. Twice. And Gearing last time I've checked isn't ship commonly considered "OP"

    I'd lean on this, as Donkey 180mm "intermediate" guns in practice means you lack oomph of 203mm and reload of 152mm. While ship itself becomes massive, loses camo and doesn't have bias armor (yet)

    Technically, 2nd ship at +-4km away should be able to create own flak wall during final approach to release payload of fun and engaging. Granted, it can be foiled by letting W key go, but in theory it can happen

    Makes more sense from CV captain point of view - instead flying around in planes, you're designating rough areas where enemies may or may not be with planes doing their work by themselves if they find enemies. Something similar we already had with RTS of old, after WG removed manual attacks from lowtier chopping boards

    You can always sail in pair, +-3km away to cover each other with flak and do crossfires that way And while flak spawns at projected speed and bearing, its the most dangerous during final approach when you can't do major course changes even if you'd want to. That and farming planes on their RTB, something that seems to be major source of casualties for me.

    Amount of gimmicks must be correct Because WoWs in terms of game mechanics is shallow as puddle, with majority of them being binary - does or doesn't work. HE pen - yes or no AP pen - yes or no overmatch - yes or no overpen, pen and citadel have fixed 10%/33%/100% fire/flood - yes or no ricochet - yes or no, with narrow band of RNG based chance detection - yes or no AA - yes or no automated secondaries - yes or no And then you have ship in question, how many secondaries were present. KGV class and its derivatives had only 8 guns per broadside, while Bismarck/Scharnhorst had 14 of 105mm and 150mm variety. USN fast battleships had 10 guns, Yamato had 18

    Stalin and Moskva use basically the same hull armor wise - 50mm plating almost everywhere, but high citadel for additional fun and engaging when all battleships sneak up to your broadside Stalinguns can penetrate 400mm main belts when broadside as far as 17km IIRC, so if not for the fact "exposed citadel" being unheard of among T10 BBs, she could be viable threat to them. Compared to other CBs, Stalinguns have not only souped up penetration, but also inproved fuse sensitivity to 33mm and shortened fuse time to 0.022s, both to reduce overpens when interacting with broadside cruisers. Everything you'd want in "supposed cruiser killer" HE dpm is on worse end, though with 50mm pen capability. So flex your stalinium piercing rounds whenever possible.

    No matter how hard you try, 6 secondary barrels can't compete with 10+ found on battleships in terms of dakka. And I suppose secondaries could get better range... But as automated mechanic, they can't be really balanced without making them UP or OP. Sample of "OP" would be when you bump into Massa in a DD and get dismantled before disengaging. On other hand, the same Massa secondaries can be hilariously foiled with good ol WSAD hax at 10km+ due to shell flight time and their pinpoint accuracy, something other, not so accurate secondaries are sort of immune due to spread.

    Used to be +20% AA range. Instead flak damage AFT could give increased flak spawning rate, maybe alongside +2 flak or somesuch to make it actually "worth giving a thonk" instead "lolno" unless main guns can benefit from it.

    Its 15% from AFT. And tbh its still too low, as even best case scenario for flak, Smolensk still can't kill straightlining Haku DB squad. Yes, entire squadron will be smoking with dps eventually picking planes one by one. But no, it won't prevent drop on you.
