    You reap what you sow. Genuine question, you get genuine answers. Go full butthurt and trolling you shall receive Factor in 25% discount in the Armory, so you might get shiny boat faster than anticipated. Though with Jean Bart going away soon, you will be left with Georgia only as T9 coalwagon. Tbh, lessons learned with IJN should help you with cruisers in general - evading shots, knowing when to fire and when to not get fired upon, ammo selection etc. There is a reason why IJN/USN are considered "vanilla" cruiser lines, as they give you bit of everything Reposting my wall o' text about ship lines

    Looking at quality of hightier gameplay... that isn't the case. Amount of people who fail their way through or have so much spendable cash to wallet their way to hightiers is... makes WG accountants happy. Which only pushes WG to add more and more BS monetization to the game, because hey, money still keeps flowing Missouri was first "freemium" ship, as in available only for Free Exp. With 750k Free Exp pricetag. Which, back in 2016 was a lot, as there was only Papa Papa (+300% FXP) signal and few uncommon paints with +FXP bonuses. Missouri was pulled after more or less year from the sale, officially she "had too high influence", but my guess would be WG went overboard with Missouri credit coefficients, as next T9 premiums earn less than her. Atago is solid, if somewhat powercrept IJN cruiser with the same playstyle and can freely use the same captain. Ashitaka is basically "stock" Amagi at tier 7, retaining her 10gun broadside and speed. If you played Amagi and you're fine with relative fragility of a Nagato, you should like Ashitaka and she should serve well as IJN BB captain trainer. She also had purpose of being solid farmer on Narai PvE Operation, but a) that Operation is gone b) is scheduled to return with next patch, but with noticeably nerfed economy rewards. You can't have fun and make monies at the same time Other options of securing premium ships for yourself I can think of... -mission marathons where reward is one -participating in Public Tests, more here https://worldofwarships.eu/en/news/public-test/tier-vi-ship-for-free/ -collecting Free Exp and Coal and spending those on premium ship(s) of choice in Armory as "long term goal" "best credit earner" would be the one you'd perform more consistently with. And then Ibuki have issue of being tier 9, thus more expensive maintenance as well additional consumable, so probably another -22.5k on the bill

    This is part of the game where you throw wallet at the screen -premium account -premium ships, the higher tier the better income* -premium paints on tier 10 for substantial maintenance cost reduction *T10 ships like Yoshino, Thunderer, Stalingrad or Smaland are considered "special ships" and do not have increased credit coefficients. But they do come with premium paints, which adds 20% extra credits and halves already halved maintenance costs, so you pay 45k instead 180k Ibuki is overall improvement over Mogami/203, so you should feel familiar if you're used to Mogami in her CA config, while enjoying access to heal, improved range as well gun reload. And 6th upgrade slot, which in turn gives you access to main gun range as well main gun reload mods, both being solid picks on Ibuki Whole "tough to play" applies to most hightier cruisers, as battleships with tiers up improve on accuracy and lethality of a salvo, so chances of well placed salvo sending you back to port only increase

    AFAIK bots have override on their predestined patch if there are torps sent their way. So maybe Myoko sent some fishes preemptively which made AI overheat and decide to hug island instead follow usual path.

    Spee, like most Large Cruisers suffers the worst from both worlds. In Spee case, above average hp and heal are nice, but 19/25mm plating everywhere means you soak HE like a sponge. Guns are... difficult to elaborate would be a mild description. Worse accuracy than cruiser, only 6 guns with 20s reload. And while they can overmatch up to 19mm platings, they NEED to meet at least 47mm of effective thickness to actually arm the fuse. Easier said than done against tier 3-5 opponents On opposite, AP penetration is inadequate to reliably penetrate BB main belts while 0.01s fuse time means you will have somewhat hard time scoring citadels on anything with layered armor. HE is laughably bad German style

    There is very noice looking Daring/Jutland camo (grey/green/black)... but just as I've started seriously considering buying Daring one, first reload nerf happened. Rebought Jutland, another nerf on the horizon for both How I'm supposed to spend existing stockpile on doubloons when WG reminds with unyielding fervor they can't be trusted with pretty much anything?

    Double rudder 4xl Kebab build used to work fine with Hodore captain and his improved EM to keep turrets on target, but that entirely relied on acceleration on top of usual WSAD keys to be effective. And fun. The same build is still marvelous on Charles Martel though.

    You're playing a game where not so long ago you could buy yourself a tier 10 ship for what was it, 200€? Now you have option to buy tier 10 DD for even more modest price of 250€ in doubloons. WG doesn't want you to spend money. They want you to spend ALL the money

    More likely Daring will get Yueyanged than YY gets buffed. Simply put, why you'd ever play Gearing the moment YY gets "close enough" in terms of gun/torp reload with much more flexible smokes and Radar option on YY, on top of speed and concealment advantage? Other "normal" DD with heal is Grozovoi. And that one on top of usual pile of gimmicks have meh gun reload and meh torpedo reload and I'd expect Daring to get nerfed that much as well.
