    "Tankier planes" is neutered by smaller squadron size with partial exception of Audacious, so overall hp per squadron remains the same. And then fighter planes kill planes on (mostly 1:1 basis). Thus smaller UK squadron is at disadvantage here.

    Short answer: no Longer answer: nooooooooooo Proper explanation: you will spend majority of skill points into feature that is useless 90% of the time. And even if you get into secondary range, something ill advised with fragile French BB hulls, 100mm secondaries will not inflict direct damage except UK light cruisers, cruisers and DD superstructure, relegating them to firestarting. Something worth considering only against BBs, as cruisers and destroyers have halved fire duration. Fun? yes. Viable and consistent in randoms? very no.

    Random idea of consumable REEEwork to go with the submarine release on live server, because why not: Hydroacoustic search is changed into "ASW package", having following effects: passive bonuses when equipped: -adds one depth charge group -displays bearing towards location of enemy submarines within 6km, refreshing every 30s (45s? 60s? not sure) active effect when activated: -increases assured detection of enemy ships and torpedoes to 3km, 90s duration, 120s reload To preserve "national gimmicks": -UK destroyers retain their 180s duration -German version of ASW package have increased detection distance of ships and torpedoes to 4km and duration to 120s when activated, displays bearing towards location of enemy submarines within 8km Defensive Fire AA is changed into "AA package", having following effects: passive bonuses when equipped: -increases continuous damage of all AA auras by 40% -reduces minimal distance for Shell Explosions from 3.5km to 1km active effect when activated: -increases continuous damage of all AA auras by another 40% -adds 3 additional Shell Explosions in a salvo for ships with long range Anti Air guns To preserve "national gimmicks": -US version of AA package upon activation have increased continuous damage bonus to 60% and adds 4 additional Shell Explosions in a salvo All destroyers can now equip ASW package or AA package in separate slot. US Destroyers, Ognevoi, Udaloi, Engine Boost no longer shares slot with AA/ASW packages. German and British destroyers can replace ASW package with AA package.   13. WG, based on their previous words in various Q&A is "unlikely" to increase maintenance costs of hightiers, despite admitting it would help with T10 overpopulation. Global credit nerf or ammo cost nerf, technically aren't "maintenance cost reduction" but could be applied as workaround for too effective T10 prem camos.

  16. Tbh, even permanently surfaced sub will be major PITA to deal with, as currently German sub have what, 4.3km detection? 2km more than average DD of same tier. Smolensk+sub might be THE duo no one asked for.

Tbh, with no pings submerged you can throw entire battery concept out the window and simply cap speed at 10-12kts underwater, maybe adding "silent drive" when crawling at half speed, which reduces ASW detection. For combating subs, I'd like to see variable depth settings on depth charges - if you match setting with enemy sub, that would inflict massive damage, if not oneshot. If you miss depth by 20-30m, it would do superficial damage. Completely missing the mark ie 75m setting against sub at 15m would do no damage.
  19. That goes mostly for German sub, as US and especially Russian one have aerial tier of torpedo damage. Guessing Ikea destroyers will finally be able to use ASW mortars/rockets of theirs to snipe subs from not-point-blank range, because gimmick. Looking at GTA Online, griefing sell EXTREMELY well and often griefing tool also happen to be the best counter against the griefer.

  21. With 5v1 you can cockblock all the caps and win via points, if you haven't done so already with such ship advantage
  22. How, EXACTLY you'd "kill DD and win the game" in, lets say, North Carolina against Benson then?
  23. Sub CAN be damaged when it makes a MISTAKE and surface next to you, just like DD CAN be damaged when it makes MISTAKE and decides to not run away when point advantage is on destroyer side. In late game 1v1 undetected DD is as immune to damage as submerged sub.
  24. Derp Charging each other in late game, when last enemy is on other end of the map and have fun and engaging times with half of your team is an option as well.
