Scharn I find tad undergunned for Narai, lacking accuracy, overmatch against BBs and very short AP fuse makes scoring cits... Unreliable. Secondaries are gucci though after pen buff. Nelson cit is huge, but again, only bow and stern are overmatchable unless you just have habit of bumping into Musashis all the time. If you want sad prem BB for randoms, try DoY

Nelson might be one of the better T7 BBs, at least until SinOP became a thing. Nelson does have: 9x406mm, until Sinop and Ashitaka, THE heaviest broadside of all 406mm battleships. Unfortunately, Brit 406mm AP have very lackluster penetration, comparable to 356mm of other nations (same issue with IJN Mutsu btw). Still have overmatch capabilities worthy of a Big Seven, so no random Baltimore will be able to ignore your AP. Assuming you will load AP, given remarkably lethal HE with 102mm penetration to boot. Her accuracy, like on all BBs, can be... temperamental at times. Lolheal, capable of recovering absurd amount of HP quickly and 32mm plating on central part. 32mm doesn't sound much, but in practice you can ricochet all but Yamato class AP shells with that, also due to IFHE changes 32mm plating can't be damaged by tier 7 and below light cruisers. Tier 8+ still need IFHE to inflict harm to your central part. On negative, Nelson have very high citadel, decently protected at 350mm, but still exposed and she will not forgive you any broadside showing. And there is little reason to, as she have excellent forward firing arcs, not so much backwards. Anti air is... no. She does have substantial 539dps, but its all packed within 2.5km distance. Distance that most strike planes spend very little time and then skip over with immunity frames. Also high citadel means Nelson is very vulnerable against AP bombs For Narai - top pick for her heal alone. For randoms - viable, just not idiotproof.

Depending where you are on RU cruiser line, split comes in 0.9.5 I think, so every battle done reduces FXP cost of getting Comrade Moskva. That said, unless Moskva gets some substantial buffs/changes along the way, I don't see her being worth FXP nor Coal price. She is okay, but you can get better than "okay" for the same price.

Why you would ever switch to HE, when AP overpens are more than viable? HE can be soaked by modules like torp tubes or guns, while AP can't, as long as there is piece of a ship to touch.

Throw in overpen nerf for BB AP, so they can't casually shave half of DD hp and we might get closer to a solution

Nope. Regular pens, AP, SAP or HE are 50% half recoverable. Fires, floods and overpens are 100% Thats what you get for "bringing cruiser into DD slot". You remove one destroyer from your team

But you know 16mm "nerf" is the best buff you could ask for? Because when sailing angled just enough to have all guns blazing, main belt ricochets (most) of AP, while upper hull have +-32mm effective armor. So even overmatching 234/240mm shells of these two won't trigger fuse

Compared to 6.2k in Grozovoi, 16k in Gearing, 9k in Daring (only?) and 26k in Shima... Khaba in comparison is kinda "played by three blokes at best"

Unfortunately, Saint Spreadsheet is a thing and those three blokes still playing Khabarovsk make good enough stats to not warrant any buffs for Khaba, as she is top or very close to the top in damage department, while having balanced 49% WR. Also Who kept his tier 6 Cleveland

If anything, Halland AA should be buffed in survivability, as AA is main selling point of this ship. And as seen above, single DD caliber HE shell can permanently kill AA medium caliber mount. Thats just DD caliber, USN dual purpose mortar. Now imagine something bigger and with larger amount of barrels

You know, Halland AA is pretty good... when its intact. So how about applying some HE grade munitions to thin that AA a bit? Whole 400ish dps is condensed in 7 mounts of medium caliber AA total. Single TiT can casually knock one off, 305mm HE can achieve similar effects as well I think. BB grade HE (unless its german) is easily capable of cripping most of that AA in one salvo, even if Halland in question recovers damage taken with heals. And Halland without AA is sad ship that can't gunboat, have low impact torps and can't disengage without smokes and French grade speeds when things get interesting.

So, are you implying Jutland/Daring are too effective against carriers and had their gun/torp reload nerfed three times in a row?

WG will probably come with skill rework which removes BFT/AFT bonuses for main guns and voila, Smolensk (and number of gun oriented destroyers who dare to have an influence in games) nerfed without nerfing ships directly And then WG will introduce Smolensk sister ship with adjusted gun range/reload to compensate for lack of skill bonuses

Secondaries is where you at And on bit more serious note, use both. With preference towards German Piercing, if you can jam it into the target with good effect, not necessarily citadels though.

Splendid work with those camouflages. Though I assume there is no simple "one line edit" to turn IJN camouflages, new and old, into black/white/blue pattern akin to premium camouflages in alternate colors?

IFHE captain from Daring was very balans on Cossack when interacting with cruisers or lowtier BBs

Kuznetsov skill is versatile enough to be put on any ship, unless you have habit of consistently getting devstruck by torps or multiple citadels worth of broadside.

EU destroyers bring nothing to the table besides AA on tier 9 and 10. Which means, in CV less game or when your AA mounts are destroyed, you end up with simply subpar ship that struggles to have an impact with both guns and torps. On top of that, they can't immediately break contact should things get too interesting. -

Barely playing cruisers anymore to begin with. And on those that used to run with IFHE, only Mogami/155 retained it for unique-ish 38mm pen, rest is running firestarting build.
